I bought a voucher for 8 hours of landscape clean-up. I promptly received an email proposing a date/ time, within the coming 2 weeks. The crew arrived on time and did an efficient job of using the 8 hours to complete the work I needed, bagged up the waste, and left things looking a lot better. Friendly and helpful.

Excellent work

The men worked hard and did a great job.  Totally removed a large amount of weeds and unwanted growth so that the area now looks healthy and neat.  We were very pleased.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for 8 man-hours of landscape services.  The previous homeowner landscaped the yard very nicely with a variety of plants, but it had gotten quite overgrown, and I needed a team to come in and clean it up for me, as I had neither the time nor the know-how to do it myself.     Within a few hours of making my purchase, I received an email from the company to schedule my service. Because of my work schedule, I had specific (and limited) days/times that were convenient for me, and they were able to schedule me for one of the days I had requested.   We did the scheduling via email, and I got immediate replies every time.  I was told that when they arrived, I could tell them what I wanted them to do, so I did not need anyone to come out in advance for a consultation, which was a bonus given my work schedule.  They were scheduled to come out at 8:30 am on the chosen day.  Unfortunately, they had a car accident en route, so we had to reschedule. (Thankfully, no one was injured, and I certainly would not fault them for not making the appointment under the circumstances)  But, to their credit, they emailed me as soon as that happened (at 8 am), so I was not sitting around waiting for service providers who never showed up.   I emailed back and asked for a specific day and time that would be convenient for me to reschedule (one week after the original date), and right away they were able to reschedule me for my chosen slot.  This morning, they were scheduled for an 8:30 start time, and they were right on time. The owner, Adriano Maschioro, came out with his team, walked through my yard with me, heard what I wanted, gave me educated feedback as to what would be appropriate for pruning given the season and the specific plants, and then conveyed all of my instructions to the team.  Given that I had purchased  specific number of hours of labor, there were some things I was interested in that I suspected could not be done in the timeframe, but I discussed them with the owner and he readily agreed to come back the following week to do them for me (those will incur a separate charge as they are outside my purchased package, but his prices are quite reasonable).   I also asked some questions about possible changes to my landscape design - he told me his wife is a landscape designer and that he would be glad to bring her with him next week so that she can take a look and give me some ideas.   His team worked very hard - it was a 3-man team and they were here for about 2.5 hours.  They got my whole front yard done - weeding, bush-trimming, pulling out dead plants, clearing out underbrush including ivy, etc.  Their policy is to not haul away the debris, but they gathered and bagged all of the debris for me and tucked the bags away so they will be out of the way and inconspicuous until my neighborhood's yard-waste pickup day.  The yard looks wonderful - it looks so good that I am now more appalled I let it look so overgrown for so long!   I had a great experience with the MA Landscape team and will absolutely use them again.

There was some confusion over scheduling and they arrived late but then did an excellent job and were efficient, intelligent, courteous and professional.

The company asked me suggest good dates to schedule the work.  We agreed on a date and a morning start time of 8 am.  I notified the company that I would require poison ivy removal so they would be prepared.  When the men didn't arrive by 10:30 am I called the phone provided by Angies List website and was told they would arrive by 1 or 1:30 pm.  They did arrive at 12:30 pm and worked diligently to remove 5 big bags of vines and debris from the areas I had shown them needed work.  They cleaned up carefully with a lawn blower and took the bags to the curb for trash pickup.  They really did a thorough job to clear the areas and recommended I use additional measures to get rid of the poison ivy.  The company is based in Gaithersburg MD so I was surprised it would take jobs in Arlington given the traffic here.  Except for the mixup with the arrival time, I was completely satisfied with the work done in my yard. The men were surprised that I expected them in the morning so I think the scheduler and the person emailing me to set up the work schedule missed a beat.

Very pleased with the services performed. After 4 hours, my yard was transformed.  Not only did they clean up a the weeds/debris that was left after the contractors finished construction on my house; they put down landscape fabric to prevent the weeds from returning, adding mulch/gravel around the perimeter to give the yard some color, and clean up under the deck.  My neighbors have remarked how wonderful my yard looks and they are considering hiring them as well.  The team was responsive, accomodating and very professional.

I am very happy with the work MA Landscaping provides. They're not your everyday run-of-the-mill gardeners. Every time I ask for something specific it gets done immediately. They are very friendly and easy to talk to. 
Lily is great to work with. She always helps, comes out and has new ideas for me. She is sooo sweet! This is great customer service, way above and beyond what is necessary.  Very dependable, I'd recommend them to all my family and friends.

During my request for quote, MA Landscape and Design was the only provider to respond to the RFQ in a timely manner.  The owners also agreed to meet with me, at the project site on a weekend, so that we could go over the details of the contract.  As for project completion, my community was astonished with the results.  Their employees were courteous and professional, they cleaned up after themselves each day, and they put in 10-hour days to get the job done.  Projects completed to date are comprised of:  a two-tier retaining wall with decorative stones, flower beds, and saplings; a decorative berm filled with mulch, various plants and decorative stone; 15-gallon plantings in boxed sections to impede trespassing and erosion behind two very large retaining walls; a 240-foot spade trench filled with mulch and riverjack to control runoff; a substantial rip-rap constructed with several thousand pounds of stone, and various re-sodded areas.  I am going to hire them again.

MA was recommended by a landscape designer and I'm very happy with their work.  They repaired my front stoop, which was sinking, built a winding drainage solution to channel run-off from my driveway and lined it with river rock, removed a large holly tree and its stump, and created a large planting bed in my front yard.  They also did a wonderful job with spring clean-up:  weeding, trimming my trees and shrubs, mulching, moving some plants, mowing, edging and removing waste.  They had a large crew here for about 12 hours and they worked very, very hard and non-stop.  I was impressed with their responsiveness in meeting me to see the work that needed to be done, sending a proposal and communicating with me promptly by phone and email.  They are now providing my on-going yard maintenance and I'm looking forward to enjoying the lovely yard they have created!

We've used MA landscaper for about 3 years for our regular lawn care/maintenance and we've been extremely happy with them.  Their regular monthly maintenance charges are fair, as are their spring cleanups.  

It is a small family owned company. I was very satisfied with their service. There must have been some miscommunication about the billing though. They sent me a bill for services that I didn't have done. I was preparing to sell my house and aranged for them to come clean up the yard at certain times. They showed up one day when I didn't think that they were coming and I had already raked the leaves up. Ultimately, the billing issue was resolved. They helped with picking out the shrubery and planting them. They seeded the lawn, which hadn't grown grass in years. I would recommend them higlhy.
