My experience with them was very good.? I really liked them very much.? I don?t think a lot of waterproofing companies would have done the mould remediation.? I would use them again in the future.

Steve Maney from All Aspects Waterproofing provided me an estimate for the installation of a submersible pump, french drain, three window well taps, and a new stairwell drain. He was courteous, clearly explained the procedure for installing the system, and even returned to provide examples and a comprehensive package of some of their work later in the day.

At the end, I was deciding between All Aspects Waterproofing and Triad Basement Waterproofing. Though Triad would have been able to start the job sooner (March 28th vs. April 2nd), All Aspects was able to provide a more competitive price and set of services overall (their price with window well taps was less than Triad's without).

After signing the contract, my installation date was moved however the company was able to change the install date back to the originally planned date after I explained the impact the new date would have on the other projects taking place in my home.

The project went off without a hitch. The crew leader for my project was Evail Monroy. He and his team were extremely efficient and took the time to explain any parts of the project about which I had questions. Also, though I had been warned they might need to destroy a custom built-in cabinet in the basement in order to install the system, Evail's team was able to remove the complete cabinet without any damage prior to the installation. They had similar regard for the window well covers which were somewhat old and I suspected would fall apart when removed. Happily, the team was able to remove and replace the covers without any issues.

=======================

UPDATE:
I've now had the system in place for a few weeks. The area in my yard where the pump is discharging has become something of a swamp. I called All Aspects to see if they could resolve the issue. They are willing to extend the line to an area where it would leave the yard without issues for an additional $500. Their typical discharge length is 6 feet from the home and mine was already run an additional 5 feet when installed, so I see how they feel they've met their contractual service obligation.

I'm thinking over this offer as I research other options. A note to others who have large backyards: when you have your system installed, think carefully about where All Aspects will be discharging your water. You may want to see how much they will charge you to run the line further before purchasing the system. You'll likely get a better deal when they're trying to close on the sale or still on site.

The estimator Jeff was stellar. He explained, in laymen's detail, what was the problem and what was his suggested
solution. He did not try to oversell us or push us. . He was very professional and thorough. We gave him the okay at
time of estimate. His crew arrived as promised. They were extremely efficient and had a great attitude and work ethic.
They worked neatly and together. As a matter of fact, when the Fairfax County inspector came for his final inspection
he complimented them on their neatness and quality job. We were nothing short of impressed. While we haven't
had a serious rainfall since installation, we are confident that we can once again enjoy our finished basement and
not worry about flooding again. The company was on Angie's list...once again a great addition.

From the visit to give the estimate to the finishing of the work overall things went very well.  We were not sure if we wanted to try to address water problems using an outside approach, an inside approach, or a combination of the two.  We had several companies come out to look at the basement and yard and each of them made a slightly different proposal.  Steve, the person that came out for the estimate, took a long time to listen to our concerns and then explain to us what his proposed solution was and why.  He also offered to do some additional work outside, such as replacing the window well itself, that we had considered doing. After thinking over the options, we decided to go with All Aspects, partly due to their warranty against water intrusion, and partly for their service and reputation.  They were available to do the work within a few days, which was good.  Initially they said they could finish in one day, but it ended up taking closer to two, a large part of which was a lot of digging to take out the old window well and put in the new one.  They were courteous and their work was excellent.  It hasn't really rained since they put it in, so we'll see what happens when we get that first big storm, but I have confidence that there won't be any problems.

Overall,  experience was great and I would highly recommend All Aspects Waterproofing.  My basement suddenly began having water issues in the Fall of 2011. Not sure if it was earthquake related, but we had several serious flooding events.  Water is probably the biggest concern as a home owner, so I got estimates from several sump pump companies.  All Aspects Waterproofing was honest and appeared to be very experienced in this sort of work.  They were everything I thought they would be. The crew was professional and the work high quality.  The cleanup was thorough and better than expected.  Everyone involved did an excellent job.  I would hire them again.

So far we have had a moderate amount of rain and no issues.  I'll certainly know more with spring rain on the way and will try and update this report.  Based on what I know now, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

The whole process went very well. I was very happy with the workers, the installation, and the company's customer service. The only negative thing I can say is that they were a bit expensive, by just a few hundred bucks, I think, but in the end, it was well worth it. Since installation, we've had a few major rains (the most recent being the worst)  and absolutely no water has been entering our basement. It's been fantastic!

I also have one more positive thing to say All Aspects: When they originally came in and gave me an estimate, the salesman said that they'd have to tear up a part my finished bathroom to install in that area. When the workers came, they made it sound like the bathroom was going to be damaged quite a bit more than originally estimated. So after speaking with them and customer service agent further, they decided to just dig under the bathroom floor to install the drain. This saved me hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars and so far, I think it worked. Plus, All Aspects assured me that if this didn't fix the water issue in the bathroom, they's come back and properly dig up the area at no additional cost. Awesome!

I had a stain that I wasn't sure was even mold, and if it was how serious it was. Other places wanted to charge as much as $300 just to come LOOK at it! All Aspects came out for FREE! Now, I will admit, I was a little worried about this at first. I thought that any company that was coming out for free was going to definitely tell me I needed some kind of expensive treatment to solve my problem. NOPE. The guy looked at my stain, told me that yes it was mold but nothing really to worry about, checked around for any signs of moisture (there wasn't any - he suspected the mold was caused by something being put away in a closet while still wet by the home's previous owner), he told me exactly what to do to remedy the situation myself, and he charged me NOTHING for all this! Now I had to give a lower grade for punctuality just out of honesty, because the guy was pretty late for my scheduled appointment, but he explained the circumstances and apologized (things happen to all of us right?) so I was satisfied. I would definitely work with this company again.

All Aspects and especially Clarence Woods were extremely professional in all phases of the process.  I really liked the iPad visual presentation they used to help me understand how the new system would work.  That's what sold me on using them.  They came on time and actually finished a day early.  I was very pleased.

Rob (estimator) was prompt and knowledgable, and offered us several solutions, going over the pros and cons of each solution. I received several estimates from other companies, and All Aspects was in the higher range price-wise, but I've found in the past that cheaper is not always better.  I liked the fact that the company guarantees their work and that the guarantee is transferable, should we ever decide to sell the house.   The company worked with me to schedule a time that was convenient, and the workers arrived on time.  They were polite, hard-working, and fast.  I really liked the care the workers took to keep things neat and tidy while working.  They had to tear out a bunch of drywall and wood, but I was impressed that they neatly stacked the "debris" rather than just throwing it in a pile like I've seen other companies do.  I had read the Angie's reviews, so I was already aware that the company does not do any drywall/studs repair work and also that, although they install sump pumps, they do not install a new electrical outlet if you do not already have one nearby.  It would be really nice if they could partner with another company and offer those kinds of services, but as long as you know ahead of time that they do not do these, you won't be surprised or disappointed.   I only have a few (very minor) complaints.  First, they did an excellent job of keeping the dust to a minimum for 95% of the job, but for some reason, they took down the plastic sheeting BEFORE they had finished sweeping the floors, which kind of defeated the purpose of having the plastic in the first place.  Second, when Rob did the estimate, I asked how they would work around the sanitary sink in the basement, and he told me they would probably jackhammer around the sink, just as they do for hot water heaters, furnaces etc.  However, when the job was done, the crew had disconnected the sink from the plumbing completely, and could not reconnect before leaving, because the entire area where the sink had sat was now wet cement.  However, when I expressed my displeasure at being left without a working sink, the foreman was willing to try to figure out a way to reconnect it for me.  (In the meantime, I called and confirmed that I had someone to reconnect it for me, so I let it go).   However, as I said, these are really only two small complaints.  Overall, I found the company to be very professional and it was a job well done.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

Very professional service.  They made sure to understand our concerns and lay out exactly what needed to be done and why.  Work was excellent and considering that they jackhammered up a good bit of the basement floor I was amazed out how clean the place was when they were done.

They did forget to plug the "drain hole to nowhere"  in the floor.  But came out and remedied it within a couple days and were very apologetic.

The 2nd sump that they installed looks great, works fine and even has a water sensor on it, which my old one does not.

Our experience with All Aspects was excellent from start to finish.  The estimator came to our house very quickly after we called the company.  He surveyed the basement and outside area.  He explained the problem in detail to us, using pictures and illustrations, making it very understandable.  He wasn't pushy at all and gave us some questions to ask other companies that we might be considering.

The work was scheduled within a couple of weeks.  The workers were very punctual and did a great job.  They were very careful to keep our house clean, even while jack-hammering our basement floor and carrying the debris through the finished basement, through the yard, and out to their truck in buckets.  They hung up plastic sheeting to contain the dust and mess in the area they were working in. They did as little damage to the outside as possible and left the area fairly clean, considering the extensive and messy work that was done.

We selected All Aspects based mostly on reviews on Angie's List and we were not disappointed.  I would highly recommend this company for any waterproofing work.

I got their name off Angie's List and it was wonderful. They came out and gave a nice inspection. They gave me a fair estimate, which I thought was a tad pricey, but that apparently is the going rate. They scheduled the work within a couple of weeks. They came out and knocked it out in one day. My experience was fine but I it hasn’t rained hard enough to test to see how well they did.  So far it has been good.  They were fine and they got here and got the job done.  I have no complaints. The price was average. The quality was fine except that they could have done a little better of cleaning up the basement after they finished the job. The responsiveness was good and they finished the job slightly ahead of time. Their professionalism was fine.

I was very satisfied.   I got $500 off for using Angie’s List.  It went well.  After they completed the job we had a heavy rain and water came in the back door.  They sent someone out to reinforce it and I haven’t had a problem with it again.  Their response time was good.

Jeff Basham, a senior inspector with All Aspects, came to our home in response to a call to All Aspects regarding a musty smell in our finished basement after a couple weeks of extremely heavy rains from a hurricane and other storms. Jeff arrived promptly at the designated time and went right to work. We pointed out the area that was showing signs of water damage in a corner of our finished basement. Jeff immediately pulled up the rug to inspect the damage underneath and did find signs of water intrusion. He then tested the walls for moisture, and pointed out that there was none behind the walls. He then tested for mold and said there was some, but nothing threatening at that time. He explained how water can sometimes come up beween the floor slab and foundation walls. This is when the sump pump and drainage just can't keep up with the amount of water. This made sense as this particular corner was right next to a basement window well that was getting a lot of water due to runoff from the roof, and it was just below an area where two gutter drains empty out, hence a very large amount of water concentrated in one location, right next tot he foundation. The sump pump was also fairly far away from this particular corner. Jeff explained that there was no damage to the foundation, it was just a case of so much water on one area, it overwhelmed the foundation drainage and sump pump. Jeff then explained that we should replaced the floor padding under the rug in that coner, as well as replaced the slightly water damaged baseboard. He gave us some mold killer to spray when we do this. All this inspection, explanation, and consultation was done at no charge to us. Based on Jeff's advice, we have since diverted the gutter drains away from this area, and repaired the roof so water does not come off it into the window well. We will also be getting window well covers. We have not had any problems since. We couldn'd ask for better service. We will be getting a new sump pump soon, and we will be calling All Aspects and requesting Jeff. This is was great customer service gets.

Extremely knowlegable and candid with tools and procedures that isolated what wa swrong and more important what was fine. He advised a number of adjustmnets in our current plan of action to deal with basement water during major rain events but indicated we were already on right track. He recommended against some of the more expensive interventions such as digging up exterior foundation to "reseal." Incredibly he declines to charge anything for this evaluation. These are classy people who kow what they are doing and extremely trustworthy. I will hire them anytime and recommend them 100 %.

We had a problem with groundwater seeping into the basement of our end unit townhouse.  Our basement is partially finished, and black mold had formed along the bottom of the drywall in the finished part of the basement.  We had gotten quotes from one other basement waterproofing company and from a couple of mold remediation companies, and it seemed like the repairs were going to cost over $10,000.  We were relieved to find All Aspects, since they found a less intrusive way to fix our water leakage problem and did the mold remediation for free.  It cost us less than half of what we thought we were going to have to pay.  Jeff did the assessment and estimate.  He was professional, patient, and not pushy at all.  He also gave us an even bigger discount on the work than the Angie's List discount based on an old promotion they had.

The workers showed up on time and did the work efficiently.  It was all done in a day.  They put up heavy plastic on the walls; my boyfriend (who was home at the time) said it looked like a scene from E.T.  I wish they had told us that they would be stapling the plastic sheets to the drywall.  After they were done, they left a bunch of staples in the walls and even had stapled the wooden feet of our sofa.  However, I still give them A's all around because the foreman came out on Saturday morning after we called Friday night about the staples and removed them all and patched the holes.  They also apologized profusely for the staples in our sofa and offered a solution that worked for us.  I doubt they will make that mistake again.  Overall, they were very professional and besides the staples, they did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves well, all for a very reasonable price.  Hopefully we won't have more problems with our basement, but if we do, we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
