Chito the supervisor and his crew were polite and worked steadily. Communication was excellent. Chito saw a problem with the previous sump pump discharge outlet which was leading to additional basement flooding and suggested we make a change. I liked his forward thinking. They did a great job cleaning up.
We are happy with the system installed, it even looks good!

Would note that they charge a flat fee for certain amounts of distance (ie: based on our timing, we could only do the laundry room, which was 19 ft long, but paid for a full 30ft - that was non-negotiable).
Job start date was scheduled for 10 June -- and they started as promised / on time. Job was estimated to take 2 days, and took 2 days.
Job foreman answered all my questions, and their reps were readily available by phone. Work looks great and everything is working as discussed in the initial contract meeting.
Notably, when they reinstalled the washer and dryer, there was a gas smell -- which AAWP then paid to have a tech come out the following day to install new gas valve to the dryer -- at their expense (total for that was $400).
Only thing they didn't do was reconnect the slop sink -- which is stone and couldnt sit on teh concrete while it cures.
I can't comment on how fair their price was -- i just picked the top rated firm (they had 31 A's when i pulled them up on Angies List) -- but I'd use these guys again.
Also, because the house is built on a hill, they were able to run the drain to the outside rather than installing a sump pump. When you live in the DC area, you know that the power goes out all the time. Even on clear, windless days. Nearly always when there is a thunder storm. So relying on a sump pump means either having to have a generator or a back-up battery. Plus listening to the noise of the pump - which would have been installed below the master bedroom - all night long.
Obviously, I won't know if this system has done the job of keeping my basement dry for a number of weeks, after the old moisture dries out and we've had rain. However, I read a number of engineering websites (in other words, people who don't SELL these systems) and all concur that if done properly, this system is effective. Keeping my fingers crossed!
The best part is the man came the following day at the scheduled time, and moved and hooked up the appliances. In doing this he found a leaking hose on the sink. He did not have a replacement but went right away to a hardware store a half mile away, bought a new one and replaced it. Did not charge me for the hose. Apparently someone had also told him about the sweating pipe and he insulated this with insulation he had with him. (clearly not part of the original job) The long term results from the work done will have to await the test of time. I am very pleased with this company in general. They were very prompt both in returning calls and arriving on time. Everyone I spoke to and interacted with was pleasant. I like that they went the extra mile for me..
"Our inspector spent several hours with the member diagnosing this problem, going as far as removing drywall, for the member, to better see issues behind the wall board. It was determined that the interior drain system was failing and needed replacement. While the work was in progress our inspection findings were confirmed. We found the interior drainage to be clogged with mud and debris, not allowing below floor water to properly drain to the sump pump. Mud was entering the system from the exterior causing the failure. We also located separate issues with stairwell drain and main water line entry into the home. These things were shown and pointed out to the member immediately and during our work. We made recommendations and repaired the stairwell drain and leak at the water line at no cost to the member. Subsequent to our work the member saw the waterproofing system operating, discharging water from beneath the floor and foundation. The member stated she was happy with the work and acknowledged the necessity of the system. During the initial inspection and inspection request the member request a referral for a drywall company. We provided the name of a company that we have recommended in the past and have never had any reports of poor or incomplete work. Due to the member’s report we contacted the drywall company and we were advised that the member told them she was happy with their work. In fact, she has them returning to complete other home improvement projects. Based on this report we will review our referral process."
"Thank you for your kind words and for calling for a FREE Estimate."
I also wanted to add what awesome customer service they have. Jeff was the first person who came out and he was very patient with all my questions and did a great job explaining everything. When the crew came out, the main guy on the job was Chito and he was awesome as well. He did a great job of explaining to me all the different parts and keeping everything clean. And lastly, this past weekend we had an emergency water issue in our basement. We called All Aspects in a panic because at first we though it might be related to the drain. This was on a Sunday evening. They got right on top of it and someone was driving out from MD to us in VA to check it out. In the meantime, my husband and I figured out that it was NOT an issue w/the drainage system and was actually sewer related so we called to tell them not to bother coming. Their person on call--Tony--was already close by so he came anyway. He was awesome. He stayed for 20 minutes to help us troubleshoot the problem even though it had nothing to do with them (on a Sunday night!!). I felt terrible that I dragged him an hour away from his home when this had nothing to do with them, but he could not have been nicer about it. Really this is how everyone is that we have met from All Aspects--even the people who answer the phone.
Long story short, we are big fans of All Aspects Waterproofing.
