After a horrific experience getting cancelled on by another company 3 days in a row, Great Nation Moving was able to fit me in within 24 hours, and did an excellent job. 2 excellent workers who worked hard and didn't take breaks! Carefully wrapped and packed up my furniture. Got overcharged by about a half hour, but the work was so well done, and I was so relieved to finally move that it didn't seem worth the fight.

David and his guys were incrediblely helpful with a logistically complicated move. They were accessible, flexible, extremely polite, prompt, and overall a great group of people to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people. Highly recommend them and will certainly plan to use them again with my next move!

The movers assembled and set up the furniture at the new house. All went smooth. Would recommend for a very affordable and efficient move!

We have moved a few times in the past few years, and have hired movers to assist with these moves. The three gentlemen that helped us in our move to the Coatesville, PA area were truly the best guys we have worked with. They were unbelievably professional, and went over and above with the move. The actual movers who came to the house were outstanding. The professionalism was excellent. Dispatch is where we had our problem. They were suppose to have contacted us a day before arriving and we were still on the road. They called us on the same day with a 3 hr window of arrival. We were 8 hrs away. The movers waited and unpacked everything. Not one broken or missing item. Awesome

They assembled and disassembled all the furniture in our 2nd story apartment and worked tirelessly to make sure my husband and I were happy. They went above and beyond. Could not have asked for a better experience- high quality service at a price that cannot be beat! Thank you guys!!

It was great to work with these guys from the quote to the move. Good communication, on time, and fast. They took care to rewrap delicate items and secured them well. William and Marko were great.

They carefully wrapped all of our plates, glasses, etc. to ensure that they did not break, as well as carefully boxed up our large collection of ceramics and art. Throughout the day, they were flexible and easy to work with, which made our moving experience much less stressful. Highly recommended.

I found Great Nation Moving online and they were able to accommodate me last minute same day, it was such a seamless, easy process. Peter and Tomas were excellent, personable, easy to work with and FAST. The whole process took barely two hours from the old place to the new place, if that. Would highly recommend, they really did a great job!

Movers very accomodating.

Great Nation Moving overcharged us and did not provide adequate service. They were not only unprofessional, but scammed us by raising costs dramatically, including the common scam of loading the truck 3/4 of the way and then demanding more money. Below is a summary of the issues we faced in general chronological order. Original quote nearly doubled, rising from the original quote of $6,500 to an unbelievable $11,655. This is a move to a 1600 square feet home. Movers increased the price dramatically. They also loaded the truck 3/4 of the way and then demanded more money. We did not know what to do - our bill had ballooned out to almost double our original quote. They had our stuff on their truck. We were on a schedule. Movers also double charged us $335 for packing supplies despite the fact that we had already paid for them in the original moving quote. Greg S. (who provided the quote) was extremely rude and unprofessional when we called to discuss the changes in charges. We could not determine a delivery date - the company forced us to contact the driver ourselves. We had to call the driver several times on his cell phone (while he was driving). Upon delivery we did a large portion of the labor. We carried a huge portion of our furniture and boxes into the house ourselves. The driver did not bring appropriate assistance. He even asked if I knew anyone nearby who could come help. Upon delivery, driver refused to move a large portion of our belongings into the house. Instead he left a large number of boxes outside in the garage. This was done without our consent. We had to painstakingly move our boxes ourselves, despite having paid this huge amount of money. We were forced to unwrap every single piece of furniture ourselves without assistance. We also did not receive any assistance at all with any furniture that had been taken apart. All furniture and boxes arrived covered in filth. Our belongings were transported in a trailer attached to a pickup truck, then arrived in a U-Haul that was left open, our belongings were subject to open air and dirt. When we put the box spring on the bed a huge plume of dirt puffed up into the air. The dirt even got inside the boxes and inside the furniture blankets. Damage caused by the movers includes a cracked door threshold, scratches on the hardwood floor, several plastic bins smashed (despite being new at pickup) and some contents damaged. Missing items include an oil heater.

On short notice & during holidays they moved some big items for us long distance. Salesman was great, & movers quick & competent. Did all they said they would do on time. Easy communication. Thumbs up!

Storage of furniture very expensive

Initially they were very flexible and helpful with scheduling. Then came the additional costs, because they had not actually seen what I was moving. Then my move was complicated by hurricane Florence, and they did store my items for me at no charge for an extra 10days. But drop off was not ideal, and I discovered several boxes of fragile items had been mishandled and were broken. I did not contact the company regarding these, because 1. I knew from past experience that everyone outside of the sales department was difficult to reach on the phone, and 2. They were small items that were replaceable and frankly not worth the effort. Overall it was a frustrating experience but I was in a bind with pickup and delivery times initially as the higher rated companies were unable to help. The guys who actually did the moving of my stuff were pleasant, clean and respectful of my home, so that is a plus.

Great customer service

They were very thorough and kept in constant communication. Definitely made a stressful last minute move as easy as possible.

We didn't have much contact with the movers other than when our furniture was delivered. They were here on time and when we expected them with our pod. They did a good job of coordinating the loading our of items out of state and there was no damage when we unpacked our items.

Learn to pack wardrobes. Don't use suits as stuffing. I had to laundry and press every bit of clothing I own.

We used Great Nation Moving to move from Virginia to California including storage for 2 months. On the the pick, the Mario and his team were professional and courteous. On delivery, the team dropped things off quickly. A number of boxes turned up in pretty bad shape and during delivery fell over a number of times - luckily minimal things were broken inside. The tape they used was melted onto a few furniture items, so I'd be cautious about what they place the tape directly onto. Couple lamps were broken. The main office was difficult to communicate with and were often unresponsive - I had to call multiple times to coordinate the delivery date; however, overall, they were always courteous on the phone and the job got done in the end.
