Nick Rivers Gutters

Nick Rivers came out and inspected the gutters. He made several recommendations about the alternatives I had for leaf cover solutions. He is well-informed and was able to give me a good estimate of the work. His assistant was able to schedule a date and time window for the work. The work was done on time and I received pictures of the work. Nick had noticed some minor repair work which he did at no cost. I would highly recommend working with him.

Awesome job!! Could not be happier. The digital pictures he provided say it all. The gutters and downspouts are like new and very clean. I highly recommend this company.

Nick was previously out on May 23 to perform scheduled gutter cleaning. As usual, he did an excellent job. On June 12, he stopped by again and hosed the gutters down to ensure I wouldn't have problems during the heavy storms forecasted for the next day. He refused to accept any payment for the service. After using this company for over 8 years, I should not be surprised by this kind of exemplary service. Remember Hurricane Sandy? I called him in a panic less than 48 hours before it hit and he came out and made sure the gutters were cleared. Remember the Snowmageddon of 2010? He even came out in the middle of that to remove ice that was clogging the gutters. Nick Rivers Gutters goes above and beyond for their customers. Always fair on the price and meticulous and reliable on the service. Bottom line - he's the BEST in this business.

They came on time and were done quickly. Showed me photos of shingles, staples, debris that were still in the gutters from the roof replacement that hadn't been cleaned out the previous 2 times by other companies. Since Nick Rivers Gutters cleaned the gutters, we have had a lot of rain and no overflowing at all.

Company responded promptly to my inquiries, following up by phone and email to confirm the appointment. The same day as the service I received an email with photos of my gutters before and after cleaning. This, and the Angie's List rating, was the primary reason I contracted this company. Not to disparage any company I contracted to clean my gutters previously, but I had no way of checking if the job had been done. The idea of before and after photos is excellent and put my mind at ease. I will definitely call Nick's again to take care of my gutters and will recommend them to my neighbors.

Apparently they cannot work on copper gutter systems even though they assured me they could. No estimate and no follow up from the office after several attempts to contact them.

Called the compny after noticing some overflow areas during a heavy rain. I have used the company before and the work went smoothly, as usual. They come on time, perform the work efficiently, and offer a good price. I will continue to use them in the future.

We've used Mr. Rivers to clean gutters in the past and he always does a great job, arriving promptly, and working in a very professional manner. He provides very helpful pictures to document the job. Another roofer had tried to sell us on getting new gutters/fasteners and didn't even look to see if the eave was sound. Mr. Rivers provided photos to show how the underlying eave was rotten and even provided us with some hangers to get us through short term at no additional charge. We plan to have the eave and gutter replaced by Mr. Rivers soon.

Service was prompt, my questions were answered, debris was removed and cleanup was complete, nice job!!

Called the company, spoke to a person right away, scheduled service a day or 2 later. The crew showed up and did the work and sent me pictures. Great job as usual. Definitely calling the company for more work next time I need gutter cleaning or maintenance of the gutters. This is the second time I hired the company, and they did not disappoint.

I had purchased an $89 gutter cleaning deal from another company. The bottom line is my gutters and downspouts weren't cleaned as claimed and paid for so I called Nick Rivers to come in behind them and clean my gutters and downspouts. Rain was cascading over my back gutter like a waterfall and was trickling out of the nearby downspout. The other company told me that I needed hangers and an additional downspout for $150 more which wasn't the case. I used Nick Rivers for many years and they always did an outstanding job. I particularly appreciate the before and after photos because I can't access or see my gutters. I called to set up an appointment and they performed the work a few days later. It is raining heavy as I write this review and I am happy to report that the cascading waterfall is gone and rain is gushing out of my downspouts. I paid $155 but you get what you pay for. $89 was too good to be true. I will only use Nick Rivers in the future. I learned a real lesson.

I never thought I would be raving about gutter cleaning, but Nick Rivers simply delivers an amazing outcome. What impressed me most was that they sent us before and after photos of our gutters to show what they had done. Scheduling was straightforward, they arrived when they said they would, and the cost was very competitive. I appreciate the care they show in performing their work and I would never use anyone else again. I wholeheartedly recommend them. They also fixed one of my gutters several years ago and did a fantastic job with that. Again, they did great work at a fair price, matched the color of my old gutters perfectly, and did the whole job very quickly. I've never seen better.

It went very well. I was initially disappointed because they only have one day a week to dedicate to our county so I had to wait about ten days to get the work completed. But after they came, I no longer felt disappointed; I was very pleased because their work is excellent and that explains why they're so busy!

I called for an estimate and they came out exactly on time to give me the estimate without any high pressure sales pitch. they ensured me my gutters were sound and I just needed the gutter guards. I had gotten a second estimate that resulted in that sales pitch and a recommendation that I replace the front gutters with a total price twice what I received from Nick Rivers Gutters. They set up an appointment for the same week I called and arrived on time and was done in a few hours. Everything was cleaned up, I received an explanation of what was done, what to expect when it rains, and the warranty. Before he left he explained what days of the week they were in Columbia and that if I had any problems I should call and they would be there that day or the next day. Very satisfied so far.

The did a good job with the work and everything was done to our satisfaction. The price was reasonable and we would use Nick Rivers again for this service

Overall Nick Rivers did a excellent job for me. From the first contact, he was very good to deal with in establishing and agreeing on the work that needed to be done. He has a customer-focused attitude. He arrived at my home on the agreed-to date and time, and all work was performed in a quality and efficient manner. I was very pleased with his work, the quality of the product he used, and his communication to keep me updated on the work.

Nick gave us the option of replacing just the gutters or doing the fascia as well - which we chose to replace. The job was done quickly and looks great.

I telephonically contacted Nick Rivers Gutters on Friday, 5 October, to arrange to have the gutters on my residence cleaned. The woman taking the call was courteous and professional. She advised that they could be at my residence on the following Monday to do the work. I would not have to be at home during the process. On Monday morning they arrived and went right to work. Although I was home, I hardly noticed their activities. I have previously used the services of Nick Rivers Gutters and expect that I will use them again in the future. They are a reliable firm upon whom I can depend.

I searched Angie's List for a gutter cleaning company and found several who had A ratings. I chose Nick Rivers Gutters because of the reviews and the before and after pictures they take of the job. I contacted them by phone and email on Friday (3/1/13) around noon time and got a return email and follow up phone call from Laura in a few hours. They gave me an estimate based on the type of home (2 story townhouse) and told me they could do the job on Monday (3/4/13). I scheduled it for Monday. At noon on Monday, I received an email with attached pictures from Nick Rivers Gutters. The pictures in the email were (1) of the front of my home, (2) before picture of the dirty gutter on the front of my house, (3) before picture of the dirty gutter on the back of my house, (4) after picture of clean gutter on the front of my house, (5) picture showing clean down spout on the front of my house, (6) after picture of clean gutter on the back of my house, (7) picture showing clean down spout on the back of my house. I was happy with the job and knew it was done because of the pictures. I appreciated the prompt reply to my email and phone call, the quick completion of the job, and the fast delivery of pictures to show me the job was done. I immediately called and spoke to Laura - thanked her for the job and pictures and paid the bill using my credit card. I have had other companies clean my gutters in the past but never knew if they did a through job or what it looked like when finished. With Nick Rivers Gutters - you know the job is done correctly because of the digital pictures!! I am very happy with the service and will call them again when needed.

Had a heck of a time getting the guy to call me back. Finally got an estimate, it was more expensive than the other guy. Went with someone else.

I got a quick response and an immediate estimate for fees (which are based on the size of the property). A service visit was promptly scheduled. The service was completed efficiently and thoroghly. He also cleaned up leaves that were on my deck and bagged them along with the leaves and debris that he had gathered and put into bag for trash pick up. And he also did a temporary repair on loose gutters. I highly recommend Nick Rivers Gutters.

They did a good job both in communicating and service. They called and emailed me when the appointment date needed to be pushed back due to bad weather. Showed up promptly on the new date and did a great job. Love the before and after pictures. Thanks.

The overall job was perfect. He told me the gutter covers presently have were installed wrong and leaves would always get into my gutters. He did not high pressure me wigth purchasing new gutters. He offerd some suggestions on how help with the leaves which I really appreciated. I would recopmmend this company to anyone who is looking for honest work.

Phone calls, emails, office staff, doing the work as scheduled, etc was a very pleasant experience. I was very pleased with the outcome and, so far, have not had any gutter/water issues. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with, and was not a big deal, was that the hose was not put back (it's a lot of hose and it was kind of muddy, so....) and there were a couple of garbage bags with gutter debris left out back. Again, not a big deal.
