Contacted by Mr. Rivers very soon after submitting a request via email from his website. He went over step by step the process they go through. After giving him the square footage of livable space in the house, he gave me the estimate. We scheduled a day my wife was home, even though he said they could do the work when no one was home and leave an invoice on the door. He said that it would probably be early afternoon when they came by, and he offered to call ahead so my wife could put the dogs inside. On the day of the work, I was leaving the house just before 7am, and I noticed ladders going up. Having workers early is rarely a bad thing, but I knocked them down from an A rating for not calling ahead as planned. The work was done quickly (seven tennis balls and nine years worth of pollen twizzlies), and he even pointed out to my wife an area of concern with my front porch that I should have checked out by a mason. He suggested Angie's List for contractor referrals. Later that day, we received an email with a link to photos showing the gutters before and after. He definitely will be getting a call again after next spring.

We contacted Nick Rivers and left a voicemail. They returned the call within two days and put us on their schedule to have our townhouse gutters cleaned within the week. We also asked for a look-see and a repair of a soffit and gutter that had begun to sag due to a 12 ton icicle last winter. They cleaned our gutters, removed debris, repaired the soffit and sent before, during and after photos of the work they had done. This was all done while we were at work, so there was no need to take off to be present. We are extremely happy with the service we received and will not think twice about who to call for return service. update: I recommended Nick Rivers to my next door neighbor and was dismayed to hear from the neighbor that Nick will no longer come to Perry Hall for service calls! Say it isn't so!! Maybe if you could get three or four neighbors together to lure him there from Pasadena, it might make it worth the travel time.

Nick came out gave a very accurate estimate and gave me the option of trying to save the existing gutters (more expensive) or replace them. His estimate was approximately 25% lower than any other I had received and he honored the Angie's List coupon in his listing. The crew showed on time, removed the old gutter helmets, gutters, and other debris then installed the new gutters. The gutters themselves were dropped off the night before and were ready to be installed. I was so impressed, I asked Nick to install covers for the gutters. Very helpful, extremely nice, and very professional. Thanks Nick!

Staff member called to see if I need there service. I was on the schedule for a week later. Nick and his staff did an wonderful job and provided before and after pictures through email. I will be using them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone.

The team did a very thorough job on all the problems. Nick Rivers is personally present at all jobs, to make sure it goes the way he wants and that the customer is happy. He did a couple of small extras, and went back up to make sure one area was done properly. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. The work done matched the quote on the job. I will certainly call them again if the need arises.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Mr. Rivers responded to my Angie's List on-line request to assess my loose gutter situation at my home with an email within minutes. He was at my home within a half an hour and secured the loose gutter within minutes charging me nothing for the repair. Based on my 1st experience with Nick Rivers, he truly does live by his philosophy of treating his customers as neighbors. After putting this off for so long and dreading dealing with a hard sell company that would cost me a lot of money, the experience with Nick Rivers Gutters was a breath of fresh air. Ever since they came out in June to clean gutters, I considered having gutter covers installed; we have many large trees, especially a huge maple out back that sends down millions of tiny "spinners" in the spring. With fall approaching, I decided to accept the estimate they provided in June. Seven - 10 days before, I spoke with Nick, and we scheduled the work for the next Monday. Although it was raining that day, they came out anyway and completed the work. They also provided photos of the gutter covers, which is good because they're impossible to see from the street. Now that the leaves are starting to fall, I am glad that I had the work done, since the covers will pay for themselves within a couple years. I would have needed the gutters cleaned about 3 x's per year, so at $300/ year, it made sense to go ahead and also not have to worry about clogged gutters. P.S. They give a discount to Angie's List customers.

They were punctual, professional, and did a great job. They showed me before and after pictures of the gutters so I knew what they did (they carry a digital camera to each job). The ladders they use have stand-offs installed so that the ladder does not lean on and crush your gutters when they go up to the roof to do the cleaning (e.g. they have the right equipment for the job). They do cost a little bit more than some of the "non-professional" uninsured gutter cleaners, but it is worth it. Overall, very pleased and highly recommend them.

I called them on Monday, August 30 to inquire about Gutter Cleaning. They were very friendly and professional on the phone. I told them where I lived and they said they could come out on Wednesday morning and I did not have to be home. On Wednesday, my fiancee told me they came in, cleaned the gutters quickly and cleaned up after themselves. By 4 pm that day, I received an email with pictures of my gutters before and after. They looked fantasic! Their quote was right on target, as well. I would highly recommend Nick Rivers and will definitely call on them in a years time for my next gutter cleaning. They are quick, inexpensive, professional and efficient.

Came at scheduled date and time. Performed work quickly. Cleaned-up associated mess. Performed additional repairs noted while on roof at no additional charge. Documented pre and post work with digital photos. Warranted repair labor and materials. I'd use Nick Rivers Gutters again with no hesitation.

They came when scheduled, did a very thorough job, and gave us some feedback on the quality of our gutters. Overall it was a very positive experience. They even emailed me before and after photos of the gutters to show the quality of their work. I will surely call them again.

Contacted company after heavy rainstorm in morning before they opened for business and left a message. Laura returned call very soon after they opened for business and scheduled someone to come out and look the same day. Within 2 hours, probably sooner, Nick arrived to look at the gutters. While he was there to give an estimate, he actually cleaned out most of the gutters and fixed the back gutter that had been giving us problems. Crew came back on the following Monday and installed the new gutter and finished the clean-out of the remaining gutters. Everyone at the company was courteous, friendly, and efficient. Service was great and communication excellent. Will use them again in the future when needed.

Wonderful!!! Could not of asked for any better service. Nick came out and gave an estimate on Friday and the new gutter was installed on the following Tuesday. Have already passed on his name to two friends in need of gutter repair.

Service was prompt and very good. At the last minute, we requested a minor repair, and they fixed it without any additional charge. We bought our house in the spring, and the home inspector informed us that it looked like the gutters had not been repaired in some time, and that a minor repair was needed (section of gutter had separated from roof). i'm sure a lot of work was needed, and they cleared the roof of leaves and branches from the big tree that hangs over it. We will definitely use them again in the future.

I called them on 7/14/2010 to schedule an estimate. They came out the same day. I got an estimate in the email only 3 days later. Though she seemed like a very nice person, I was not impressed with the level of professionalism. The estimate was not detailed, did not list all the work I had asked to be done, and it did not have the repairs itemized. They did not include the Angie's List discount they told me about during the consultation. I was told in the email that came with the estimate that “the gutter covers are normally $12.00 a foot but Nick is going to do them for $8.00 per foot.” However, the estimate had NO breakdown of the costs or pricing.

This company was very prompt in returning my phone call.They arrived on time and were very professional. The workers cleaned up after themselves and did exactly what they said they were going to do. He provided before and after photos of the work that he had completed, which I really liked. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them again.

Within a day of our call a rep from the company came out to take pictures. We were mailed an estimate and were given a "worst case scenario" estimate. We paid a small percentage for down payment. An appointment was scheduled within a week. The day before the repair a 40 ft section of gutter was delivered. When Nick came out he took a look under the roof edge and told us both the front and back gutters had been installed correctly originally and the fascia was in good shape. He cleaned the gutter in the front of the house and installed inside hidden hangers. The 40 ft span across the back of the house did not need to be replaced and was re-attached using inside hidden hangers. Nick gave the gutter more of an angle to keep the water flowing. He refastened the downspouts to he house where needed. The gutters and downspouts were cleaned. We felt he was reliable and honest and knew what he was talking about. He didn't try to sell us un-needed new gutters.

I contacted Nick Rivers Gutters through Angies List and they promptly replied with a date and time they would come by to look at my Gutters. They provided me a quote and professionally performed the work within a week of me contacting them. They emailed me before and after pictures of all the work they performed. I will recommend them to friends and co-workers and use them again in the fall.

Showed up on time and cleaned all gutters. Area was cleaned up upon leaving. Appreciate receiving pictures showing results of the cleaning.

We requested an estimate for repair to our gutters, which we had been told were "off pitch" by another gutter cleaning company. Laura told us that she'd be able to come within a few days, but later said that the estimate would be delayed another week. After not hearing anything, we called them 2 times and finally spoke with them. They apologized for the delay, and said that Laura had been sick. Nick said that he had been out to look at our gutters, and he didn't think that they needed any repair or work, which agreed with my husband's thoughts. We were grateful that they seemed honest and not just trying to profit, and we will probably try them again based on their excellent reviews.

Very friendly guy, prompt, bagged the leaves and gutter gunk up and left the beds around the foundation in good shape. He also provided a link to view before and after pictures of his work. We've used him a couple of times now and are satisfied with his work.

Nick cleaned our gutters (with an assistant) – scrubbed and rinsed with water. Nick gets up on the roof and does a thorough job. He does not use blowers or air; he uses water and elbow grease. Nice guy. Professional. Sent photos of before and after. Returned calls promptly and showed up when he said he would. He was careful with the shingles and bagged the debris that they removed from the gutters.

Great! Hopefully we won't have any further gutter issues but when we do, we know who to call.
