I needed a new catalytic converter for my truck and shopped around and finally found jimmy z's. They're price was the cheapest and 1/2 the price of other auto shops ($1050 versus $2050). His workmanship was impeccable and a very honest mechanic which is unheard of nowadays. That came in handy because two weeks later my truck which is going on 11 years old needed a new water pump. I feel very confident that I have found a mechanic that I can trust and that he'll keep my aging truck on the road as long as possible. You'll also enjoy their mascot,bubba, who greets you at the door and keeps you company while you wait. I have used Jimmy Z's in the past for all my Toyota needs. They were the first I called when I had a recent issue. Timing and availability of an appointment was very good. It is also very convenient to use the night drop off. I would not hesitate to go there for any automotive work needed and would recommend to a friend

After going to my dealer for an oil change, I was informed that I needed new rear brake pads at a cost of around $250. At my wife's urging (her family have been long-time customers), we stopped at Jimmy Z's for an estimate and to schedule service. The quoted price was 35% less than the dealer, matched their final price and the work was done as and when promised.

I've been taking my 20-year-old Toyota Celica here for about a year, and I held off submitting a report because they appeared to be too good to be true. However, after just getting my car back for the above-mentioned work, and paying half of what I was charged for the same work from a chain auto repair place, I couldn't hold back any longer. This is a family (husband and wife) owned and operated business, and you can expect friendly, personal, prompt service, reasonable prices, and work that is actually completed, plus the car stays fixed! These are good people. I don't know how I lived without them.

They're polite and reasonable. They've continually done an excellent work. I really feel like I can trust them. I would definitely give them A's all the way down the list. I'll absolutely be using their services again in the future.

THE WEEK PRIOR TO CHRISTMAS, MY ENGINE LIGHT WAS FLASHING BRIGHTLY. I CALLED JIMMY'S AND THEY RECOMMENDED THAT I TOW THE CAR USING THE TOWING SERVICE OF MY CHOICE. WHEN AN ENGINE LIGHT IS ON, I EXPECTED THIS TO BE A LARGE AND VERY EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE. THEY FIXED THE CAR THE SAME DAY AND NEEDED ONLY TO REPLACE THE SPARK PLUGS. TERESA EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM AND THEN JIMMY SHOWED ME THE OLD SPARK PLUGS AND EXACTLY WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. THEY TREATED ME FAIRLY AND HONESTLY AND THEY WILL BE MY MECHANIC OF CHOICE FROM NOW ON--I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
