Owings Mills Shell

We moved to Maryland and need safety inspections before we could transfer titles and registrations for the cars. We dropped off the first car and was pleased with the results. Then, we brought the second car and the results were the same. Paperwork and service were handled efficiently. Parts were found and installed correctly. I felt that the price of the parts and labor was good.

This shop was referred to me and I found it to be an honest, well-run neighborhood service station. Mike, the owner, is a straight shooter who won't waste your time or money. I found his prices for service and repair to be more reasonable than I had expected and recommend his shop.

I heard, from an auto dealer, that Mike at the Owings Mills Shell station does great work with Ford cars. I never would guess that a service station would be 1. honest 2. reasonable. I always assumed they were out for money and to rip people off.

I took my car there to see if it needed any maintence work. Each and every time I spoke with Mike he was professional and very patient in explaining everything to me. There were a few small issues, but overall i felt like it hasn't been running well. With that said, it does have 85,000 miles on it. Some can only be done by a Ford dealer because of the electronics involved. He also had knowledge as to what those expenses would be. He addressed each issue I told him about and gave me all options and the importance of them. Because of my car's engine design, the transmission work needed to be done by someone else. He gave me the name of Witcraft transmission and the reviews on angie's back up his referral.
I even had to call him back weeks later because of a small incident that i wondered if it was related to the tune-up. He was just as kind and again reminded me that the transmission needed work.
