It took a little effort to coordinate the work since it was summer vacation time and there had been some severe storms in the region. All the tree service companies were fully booked. Our trees are a very important aspect of our property. The condition of the shade trees around our house, in particular, matters a lot to us. The Lasbury team clearly approached every tree with careful consideration. They thoroughly pruned out all dead and interfering branches, while enhancing the profile and integrity of each specimen. The bucket truck was used sparingly, and we appreciated the care taken to avoid lawn damage. Most of the work was done by climbers. The team members cooperated to make sure that larger limbs were lowered carefully. The clean-up effort was equally thorough and impressive. At all times, the workmen were polite, attentive to our questions and remarks, and pleasant to have around. Most importantly, we're very pleased with the results - our trees look great!

They did an excellent job. This is the company that our community uses quite a lot. They know how we want our neighborhood to look. Their clean up was good and they make sure that they take all the debris away with them.

Once we signed the contract the trees were gone in three or four days. The premises were cleaned up well. There were no problems whatsoever.

I called to get an estimate on 8/13 and company checked the areas on 8/14. The arborist was pleasant and not pushy and seemed knowledgeable. Written estimate arrived on 8/16. I was told that work would be done in about two weeks. I received a call on 9/4 that they could do the work on 9/5. They arrived on time and completed the work.

Very well, except that they were supposed to cut the fallen limb into firewood and leave it behind. This was missing from the quote (even though I told John Lasbury I wanted it when he came to give the estimate), so I called the morning of the day that the work was to be done, and I was assured that the request would be added. Yet, upon my arrival home-no firewood! This, however, is a minor complaint, as the other work was done well and expeditiously. They cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly.

Shirley is very nice and helpful. John came out quickly and gave us some advice as to some of the other projects we might need done. The trees were there one morning and gone that afternoon with very little mess. There was a little misunderstanding (we wanted the trees mulched and the mulch left there for us to use and that did not get done); however, we are nonetheless pleased. They came in at $500 less than our other tree people for this project and R2000 less for the next project. They will be our arborist of choice!

I have used him a couple times and he has always done great work. He is very honest and charges a reasonable price. I will use him again when needed.

Lasbury came out on the day they said they would and did an excellent job pruning two maples and a willow. They cleared hanging limbs around wires and over the house. In addition, they completely hauled away a large brush pile and woodpile. They also ground out the stump.

I had received a quote from a company based on receiving a flyer through the mail. From experience, I was aware that tree quotations can vary significantly. I found John Lasbury on Angie's list and was impressed by the reports I read. John came the day after I called, made notes about the work and then sent me a very professional quotation spelling out everything. It was just over half the first quote I had received. I signed a copy and returned it. Two of his team arrived within the 6-9 weeks estimate I had received from their office. They were very pleasant and since I was working in the yard, I watched them for a while. They appeared very expert and I was very pleased with the results. All the pruned material was shredded and taken away. I would most definitely use them again.

There was nothing dramatic or exceptional about the experience. Everything proceeded exactly as it should. Mr. Lasbury showed a few minutes early for the estimate appointment. He gave a fair estimate and a time frame. The work was completed as promised.

They cut down a tree and removed it for us. Though we had some miscommunication about the contents of our contract, we weren't charged for their labor due to the misunderstanding. We were pleased with their work.

Overall, I felt very confident with the customer care and the new look of my trees. I would use this company again without hesitation. I could not believe how well they cleaned up!

Holly tree was not reduced in size 3-4'! Unfortunately, I had paid the foreman with a check for $380.00 when work was performed. Owner, Mr. Lasbury, stopped by on my request to check the tree. I stated that I should have requested that the workers trim the tree to specs, and was not going to send another ''cherry picker'' to retrim the tree! When the workers finished the tree it was even with my driveway and walkway. Had it been TRIMMED 3 to 4 Feet, as stated in contract, the tree would have been 3 to 4 feet away from driveway/walkway and not even with it! The tree was shaped - but NOT cut/trimmed 3 to 4 feet in width at any point!

They were great people. They were competent, nice and we were happy to have them around our home.

They trimmed all the lower branches for me. It looks very nice. They were very nice. There were three of them. It had been almost nine years since I had them cut, and now it looks great.

Came out the same day to give an estimate. When we contracted for the work, they said they would schedule it within 2 weeks but since it was a small job they might be able to tack it on to the schedule if they had an opportunity. The limb was gone in 2 days. I like that they made no false promises but did take into consideration my concern about the limb. Left a neat site too.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY CAME AND GAVE ME A FREE ESTIMATE AND STAYED WITHIN THE QUOTED ESTIMATE. THEY ALSO DID ALL THE WORK THEY SAID THEY WOULD IN THE AGREED TIME FRAME. IN ADDITION, THEY CLEANED UP ALL OF THE MESS EVERY TIME THEY CAME OVER.

THEY ARE A TOP NOTCH COMPANY. THEY DO THE BEST WORK THEY CAN AND THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND QUALITY MINDED. THEY REMOVED ALL OF THE DEBRIS FROM THE TREE REMOVED AND THEY DO A GREAT JOB OVERALL.

THEY WERE HERE WITHIN A FEW HOURS AFTER HURRICANE ISABELLE TO REMOVE THE BRANCHES & LIMBS OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY & SURVEY THE DAMAGE. THEY ARE GREAT, PROFESSIONAL, & RESPONSIVE.
