Description of Work: We had five large trees taken down my Lasbury. It was a large, complicated job and was done with professionalism.

Description of Work: The persons providing the service were very professional, however they arrived a week later than promised because things had 'popped up'. Expensive for arriving so late and I will not use again.

Description of Work: John (owner) and Dixie (crew chief) were prompt, professional, and especially attentive to my satisfaction. John walked the property with me to give his "master arborist" opinion and recommendations on improving the health, appearance, and security of my property. A quote quickly followed, adjustments were made, service was scheduled. Dixie and crew showed up on time, did a great job (trimming trees, removing trees, grinding stumps), checked with me for approval, and cleaned up completely before leaving. A day or two later, John asked if I was still satisfied... When I said I wished we had decided to trim higher up the trunks to further improve visibility, he immediately offered and arranged to have Dixie come back and go higher on each tree. This was done (nearly doubling the work they performed) within the next day, at no additional cost to me, just to insure I was fully satisfied. I am. I highly recommend this company!

Description of Work: Tree Pruning and 1 tree removal with stump grinding... The Lasbury Tree Company was excellent. I had wanted some pruning that Mr Lasbury advised would not be in the best interest of the tree...I was impressed that he gave an honest and professional opinion. against such a procedure. (Other tree companies just agreed they would do it). His crew as very professional, thorough and cleaned up perfectly. I am very pleased that I chose Lasbury Tree.

Description of Work: I called regarding a hazardous limb on my silver maple tree. They promptly came and evaluated the situation and returned in 2 days to take remove the limb before any future storms could bring it down. I really appreciated the prompt service particularly knowing that the company was still dealing with an overwhelming number of calls due to the 'derecho' storm. This is the second time I have used the company and will use them again as well as recommend them to anyone needing tree service.

Description of Work: Excellent work!. Very professional and timely. Identified the problems that needed attention and took care of the problems effectively and quickly. They did the best pruning job on my privet hedge that I have ever had. Very impressed. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I used their services to remove a large tree in my yard that was damaged by a storm. I contacted them just prior to Christmas and John did the estimate on 12/30. He offered the best price when compared to two other companies and he was available to do the work one week after I contacted him. The workers were punctual and professional and the job was done carefully and in a timely manner. I gave Lasbury a B in Responsiveness because I had difficulty getting in touch with someone on the phone--I kept getting the answering machine. However, John was very prompt in returning my calls. I would definitely utilize them in the future.

Description of Work: I had my silver maple tree fertilized and pruned. The fertilization took place in early October but due to the company's busy pruning schedule owing to damage done by Hurricane Irene it took until early December to have my tree pruned. I was aware of that when I agreed to have Lasbury's do the job. I was very pleased with the pruning and the crew that came to do the work. I would defintely have them again in the future.

Description of Work: I called this service because of the high ratings on Angie's List. I got a prompt response to my e-mail to schedule a time to look at the work to be done. John was on time and pleasant, stating that they could do the work in 3-4 weeks. 3 weeks later when I had not heard anything back I called and was given a date the next week for the work to be done. The agreement being that I did not have to be present for the work. On the scheduled date of service I came home early so I could pay the workers, only to find that not only had no work been done, I had not received a phone call or e-mail explaining their absence. When I called John to find out what was going on (3:45 in the afternoon) his comment was "oh well . . . that is the nature of this business." He then called his crew and reported to me that they had already been to my house, but since no one was home they didn't do the work! When I reminded John that it was agreed that I did not have to be home in order for them to work on TREES IN MY YARD his response was "I know." No apology, no empathy, no energy into making this right. At present they workers are scheduled to come by this weekend, but to be honest I have no faith that they will come, and even less faith that they will know what they are supposed to do. To say the least I will never use nor recommend this tree service to anyone I know.

Description of Work: We had a huge conifer come down on our garage and john Lasbury was there the next day to take care of us. His crewe wprked in miserable icy condiotions and did a great job! They are super nice guys and really do careful work.They had to remove this huge tree and chop it up and haul away mounds of debris.Then the tarped the roof to protect it.

Clear the house by 2-4’. b) (2) White Pine, front, fine prune to remove dead, dying and interfering limbs. Clear the driveways. Shape and reduce diamter. c) Cleanup the brushy area, right side, leave (1) Silver Maple and (1) Red Oak. d) Pyracantha, left side, reduce in size 4-6’ and shape. e) Brushy areas, rear, cleanup areas and leave a tree every 10’. Clear the loop wire and the phone line. f) White Pines, rear, fine prun e to remove dead, dying and interfering limbs. Remove the vines. Trim and shorten to keep the trees away from the power line. g) (1) Pin Oak, left front, fine prune to remove dead, dying and interfering limbs.
