It took a few months in the making, but David at Ultimate Flooring Design Center was very patient with us. We just wanted to make sure we had the right carpet, the right price, and the right business for the job.
David was, always, very understanding, pleasant and helpful. If he did go crazy over our indecisiveness or disorganization, he didn't show it. Very professional, he is. He came out to our business to survey the area and give us some options and a quote. There were other businesses that didn't even offer to come look at our office, or seem interested at all.
We had a couple carpets in our office that needed replacing. Ultimate Flooring Design Center was able to come in for Saturday installation so that it wouldn't affect our business. We're on the 3rd floor of an old building with no elevator, but David and his crew were able to lug everything up the stairs without any complaining (which I get all the time from the UPS delivery guy).
It was a long job (about 12 hours), but the crew pushed on through (I'm not sure if they took any breaks). They were clean and did a great job in the replacement.
The new carpet looks great! I was able to get everything back in place, in time, for business to open up Monday morning.

Outstanding! One of the easiest companies to work with. Dave came out to provide an estimate and to give us different options. He clearly gave us different options and suggestions for types of wood and carpet, when he left it was very clear about what I would be getting. I make this point because other companies were not so clear and couldn't answer questions that Dave did without hesitation. He also took the time to write up a clearly spelled out quote breaking down every aspect of the job, again other companies gave me a quote on the spot without every aspect of the job broken out.
Upon signing a contract arrangements were made to drop off the wood the day after Thanksgiving to give time for the wood to acclimate to the house. They started the install the Monday after T-day and finished by Sat. It was a big job and they took their time and did it right. The floors look great and match the existing floors, this was very important to us and again Dave did a great job making sure he ordered the right wood to match.

Ultimate Flooring is phenomenal. Three, different installers were needed for our job - ceramic, oak floor installation and finishing, and carpeting. We were totally impressed with the quality of installers. They worked steadily, protected other areas of the house from dust, and cleaned up on a daily basis. All the work exceeded our expectations. We also appreciated the value pricing, high quality materials, and the personal attention we received from Dave Sr and Dave Jr. I would use them again, which is the best recommendation I can provide.

Ultimate Flooring removed old carpet and hardwood, and installed new pre-finished hardwood in three rooms in one day. The two workers were very focused and hard-working. Several days later I noticed a few dings, mostly slight imperfections in the wood's finish. They came out within a few days and repaired the dings with a hard wearing filler (wax?). I cannot even find them now; they remain filled smoothly after six months of wear.

Contacted David at Ultimate after getting a suspicious price from a national flooring installer. David was very obliging, and flooring price from Ultimate was extremely competitive without anything being "free". As we had hardwood installed in our kitchen by the builder, it was important to match that product in the adjoining rooms. Ultimate was able to offer the identical product. The installers "married" the new installation with the existing, and no-one is able to see where the new installation starts. We then selected a carpet for a runner. David had the edges bound and then installed by his carpet group. Again, everything went better than can be described. We are extremely happy with the entire process with Ultimate, and we feel we got a great value for our money. The installers were so talented and professional, and David is so knowledgeable that I don't think you can get a better group to work with. We're now 3 years later, and everything is still perfect. We will definitely use Ultimate Flooring again.

David is very good to work with from start to finish and the installers that his company works with are all very good. They worked with me with some issues that arose when the work was being done--not their issues, but issues with my home--and they were here late to get the job done and not cut corners. I would highly recommend them--especially for their attentiveness to resolving issues and making sure that the customer is satisfied even if it takes extra time. This alone is extremely worthwhile in today's world and this means more to me than just getting the job done at the absolutely lowest price. They earned their money on my job and I am very happy with the personal attention that I received. They earned my future business for more flooring work.

He is amazing. David Harris is fabulous. I have used them for about 15 years. We originally found them because the carpet company we were using messed up and David Harris came in to fix the problem. Hey are really good and honest people. They do a great job. In one home, I had a flood and they ripped everything out of the basement and put new padding and carpet down. Whenever I have had any problems, I have always used him. I started using him since he was the primary flooring guy for a property management company I used to work for. We could always count on him.

.We wanted to replace the vinyl tile in our kitchen that was there when we bought the house in 1994 and was in very poor shape. We went to the store in Odenton and picked a vinyl floor tile that we liked. They had a good selection of well-known and respected brands. Mr. Davis said he would call us on the following Monday to make an appointment to come and make an estimate. When he called, he said he could come then, and he was here in a short time. He measured and called us with an estimate that day. We went back to the store on Saturday and signed the estimate and gave them a 1/3 deposit. We agreed on a day the following week for the installation.Three men showed up and worked hard and efficiently most of the day to remove the old and install the new tile. They were very con-siderate and kept everything as safe and clean as possible. The floor looks great. We are completely satisfied with the job. I want to particularly commend their speed and courtesy, which are not so easy to find in this area.

We visited the showroom several times looking at different kinds of flooring and getting samples. The staff was very helpful, but not pushy at all. After several trips, we picked out floors, and they came to our house to give an estimate. When it was more than we wanted to pay, they worked with us to bring the price down. I substituted a cheaper floor in one room and agreed to do some of the prep work.
The actual installation took place about a week later. The installation took all day, but this was because they took the time to get every detail right. The transition strips and shoe molding were cut and installed seamlessly. The linoleum in the bathroom was cut so that the natural breaks in the art on the linoleum lined up with the edge of the shower/bathtub/kitchen cabinetry. I have inspected the job several times, and there is nothing I wish they had done better, and I can be picky about evaluating other's work on my house.

They were on time for our appointment and were very detailed in their estimate. We really appreciated their tips on what types of floor would work best for us and our lifestyle. They always offered pros and cons for every option, even when it would be cheaper for us, which is rare honesty these days! Once they wrote out the plans and the total amount there were no pushy sales tactics. They were more than happy to let us think about it. We had a great feeling about them, so a few days later we went to the actual store to see larger samples of everything. They were willing to come down on price and once we agreed, they were able to schedule installation for about 10 days later. The wood laminate was done the first day, carpet the second, and then the tile later. The tile ended up being back-ordered, but we appreciate how they kept us updated on the status of the order and got it completed as quickly as possible. The crews were fantastic, really thorough, and completely cleaned up after themselves. We absolutely love our new floors and working with Dave and the whole staff was a pleasure. I've now learned that it's worth it to work with local people who will be accountable and do everything perfectly!

They were here the entire time doing their job diligently. The staff was great and did the carpet the 1st day and put in hardwood floors the 2nd day. They were very careful with the furniture and seemed extremely thorough. I liked their services and will use the same in future.
