Description of Work: The Deck & Fence Company built a porch with a shed roof on the front of our house. Joe (their representative) was very responsive to our needs and the crew was very professional. They were quick and hardworking. The porch is very sturdy and well done. They were able to match the siding and roofing perfectly. We couldn't be happier! Steph & Jim Jacobs

Description of Work: Still waiting on the deck to be built because my HOA moves at the speed of a tortoise. However, Joe, the representative we have been working with has been extremely informative and friendly. He has kept us abreast of everything being done on their end. He was punctual and did an awesome job of explaining our decking options. We are really looking forward to the work that they will do. Will update once deck is built.

Description of Work: They replaced my existing wooden deck in it's entirety and made the necessary upgrades to meet existing city building codes. They did a fantastic job. The workmanship and quality was Grade "A". The sales rep came prepared with all sorts of samples and didn't try to "push" the higher price stuff on me (although I did go with the moderately better stuff after he spent considerable time answering all my questions). They were very professional, knew exactly what the building codes were, and the sales rep followed up by doing a walk through with me at my house a couple of weeks after they were done to make sure I was happy with the work. I mentioned a couple of things I wished they could change that I couldn't have known without seeing the final product. They gladly made the changes and didn't charge me any extra money. I will use them again for any future deck work I do. This company is a CLASS ACT:)

Description of Work: I initially contacted Deck & Fence company year ago in summer 2012 but did not plan to build the deck for my house. Then wifey pressured me to get the deck installed or she would just hire any contractor and get the job done. I initially talked with Stew as I had saved his number. so finally called him. he came out and gave estimates for wood as well as composite. We went with Wood deck. the job was done within two days including hole and final inspections. Very professional crew. Stew is very courteous and professional. They actually did 10+ houses in my community and their deck work looks better than the others'. one of the reasons I went with them is that they put two rows of column supports before attaching with the house. I am a structural engineer so I naturally think this is the way to go. thanks Stew and your company.
