They formed Alternative Roofing, Inc. as a contracting company that would provide the utmost customer service, integrate new products and technologies to offer customers greater options for their roofing needs.

We purchased the AL deal on March 7, and Alternative Roofing contacted us within a day or so to schedule. Because of the rainy spring weather, we had to reschedule a few times, but that is not AR's fault. On the final rescheduled day, they called 30 minutes before they arrived, which was appreciated. The technician, Jason, was great - very professional and friendly. About halfway through the roof inspection it started to rain, and he was soaking wet by the end, but you wouldn't have known it from his positive attitude - Jason is a wonderful representative for the company. He explained everything that he was going to do, took off the pads on his shoes before he came inside the house to see a couple of water spots we had found in our bedroom, and then went up on the roof. The entire visit took about an hour, with about 30-40 minutes spent on the roof inspection and repairs. Once Jason was finished he showed us pictures of two nail pops and unsealed pipe collar fasteners he had found and fixed/sealed. He explained that he had used wet dry cement instead of caulk because of the rain. He said that the pipe collar should be replaced ($300), but that the seal he'd done would probably get us through to when we'd need a complete roof replacement in 2-3 years. I really appreciated his honesty and integrity, not trying to sell us something we might not need. At the very end, he took about 10 minutes (still in the pouring rain) to take measurements for a new roof estimate so we'd have an idea of how much we'd be looking at spending in a few years. Overall great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend AR to others - $99 was a great price for the level of service we received!

OK. The price was too high for what was actually done. It appears that most of the cost was just to go up onto the roof. Also, asked for quote to remove satellite dish from roof and was quoted $250.00

While at your home we inspected the roof, re-sealed two pipe flashings, tightened loose ridge vent and sealed other exposed fasteners. That should be a very competitive price, after all it is a promotion. The price of $250.00 for removal of the satellite dish would have required the men to leave the site and find matching shingles for your house as well as the disposal of your dish - that as well should be a competitive price. "[member name removed], I am sorry about your dissatisfaction with your experience with our company. I think there may be a little miscommunication. First the roof deal states that there my be an additional charge for roof slopes above 6/12 (they become increasingly difficult to work or walk on) - your roof slope was approx. 12/12, very steep. Once we inspected the roof we felt it was closer to needing replacement then just a repair, but while there we performed some minor work which you were charged for (we have photos that can be forwarded to you). We also put together a proposal to replace your roof, which was forwarded on to you. If the replacement were to take place, we waive the cost of the repair. The repairmen arrived on time. I appreciated that two of them came since it is a 3rd story roof. It takes a 40-foot ladder and is better to have two individuals to ensure safety. They also provided me with pictures of the area that I was concerned had a leak and completed repairs. They also went into the attic to inspect it from both sides. The cost was very reasonable. I will use them again.

It turned out pretty good. My problem was I did not think they were coming because it was getting close to dusk but he did show up and patched the minor repairs. He found some other things and gave me a quote on it. It did not take him long, done with an hour. The guy was pretty personable.

The provider repaired the roof where there were several areas exposed to water. I was give advice as to have other work on the roof done, and some siding inspected on front of home water seals that were or were not put in place.

The company was excellent. Highly responsive. Came out the very next day and inspected the roof. Gave me a discount as per the AL deal. There were a few shingles missing and they sent me pictures so I could see the before and after condition of the roof. I thought that there charge was reasonable and certainly did not feel that they were trying to take advantage of the situation.
Everybody I spoke to at this company was very courteous and professional. Highly recommended and definitely be my first choice for any future roofing jobs that I may need.

Alternative Roofing was excellent. They responded promptly to my first inquiry. They showed up when they said they would for estimates and provided me with estimates immediately. On the rentals, they did not recommend the most expensive option - they listened to what I was trying to accomplish and created an estimate accordingly. Then they showed up at the day and time agreed upon and performed the work. For my home, it was the same experience only I wanted an rood replacement. I had gotten several bids and had questions for each contractor. Alternative Roofing was always the most prompt in answering my questions and the most thorough. And again here, I had an option to spend more, but Alternative Roofing explained in way that made sense to me why it wasn't necessary. and when it came to the work, they were thorough, took pics before, during, and after and left the job spotless. I highly recommend Alternative Roofing.

I spent minimal with Alternative Roofing. They fixed whatever problem I had. They just did the job and did it right. I think they were fair, honest, prompt and that's about it. I remembered not having being pissed of because I guess they showed up.
