The entire project went much better than expected. The communication with main office was excellent. The estimator was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He scheduled the work and the crew arrived at the exact time and job completed without any issues. I am very pleased and will use this vendor without any hesitation.

C2 Crane and Tree Service came out for an estimate and were very fair in price. They scheduled us quickly. They worked hard, fast and safe. They did a great job!!!

I removed the mulch from the stump. Some of the primary stump remains, technician told me to contact C2 office if any of the stump remained. While in no hurry, I would like the remaining stump removed when you get a chance. Thank you again Hank

C2 Crane & Tree were amazing! We needed two 60+ ft trees taken down in our front yard as well as three smaller ones in the back with some brush clean up. We had gotten four quotes from other companies and C2 was by far the best. They worked with us to get everything we wanted done within our budget. Wayne went above and beyond for us to get us done quickly so we could start repairing our lawn. They even grinded the stumps, removed the chips, and laid new soil, seed, and hay where the two large trees came down! They had a very professional operation come with at least 6 crew and lots of machinery! They got it done quick and cleaned up nicely. We would definitely recommend and will use again in the future!

Crew hadn't shown on scheduled day at scheduled time. I called, office person called them, then told me they had made an emergency call prior to mine. Hadn't let her nor me know. When they did show up, they couldn't get into the yard with the bucket truck. Started on some other stuff, but then the chipper wouldn't start. Had to leave. Instead of coming back the next day, it was two days. Then they came up with a solution to get in with the bucket for the huge trees (got neighbor's permission to come through her yard). They worked hard and communicated with me throughout the rest of the job. They cleaned up fairly well and were respectful and responsive to my requests. The chipper breakdown wasn't their fault, for sure. The bucket truck issue was the estimator's oversight. But all in all, it was a good job, and I would hire them again.

I was impressed with the whole process! This team was professional, skilled, safe & they worked fast! In less than 6 hours, 2 trees well over 100 ft tall each, very close to my house, were carefully & completely removed, stumps ground, area filled & covered and all debris removed. The team was careful to minimize any damage to my lawn and any inconvenience to neighbors coming up & down the street. They frequently moved trucks & looked out for traffic. The price was very reasonable for the work done, much less than other estimates.

I got estimates from 3 companies, C2 gave me the best price, fit me into their schedule in 1 day, came with a crane truck that could reach the tree from my driveway (so no tire ruts in the yard), cut up the wood I wanted to keep for a fireplace and hauled away the rest, cleaned up all the twigs. Very pleasant 3 man crew. All in all a very good experience.

Completed all work in a single day and carted off all debris. Was proactive on contacting me as my decision process matured and gave me the best price for the work (I had contacted multiple tree service sites prior). Completely satisfied.

It went extremely well. It surpassed my expectations. I will use C2 crane again and recommend them to my neighbors.

Very well. Very careful and professional work. The access was on a driveway on the side of a small barn - the trees were on the other side. They lifted a worker over the barn to the trees and removed each limb, lifting it back over the barn to the road. A crew at the road them cut up each limb. Then a hydraulic lifter moved the large logs into a ling dumpster. When the dumpster was filled, it was hauled away. Despite the close quarters and difficult weather, nothing was damaged and everything was cleaned up well.

Wed. came and I called back and left a message to say that I would be home early and he could visit anytime after 3:30. I also said "let me know if you are still coming" since it was raining. I left my number again. Wed. came and he was a no show and no call. I have never heard from them again.

I would have given them an A but they were suppose to come in the morning but did not come til the afternoon. They did a good job. The price was reasonable, very comparable. When they got here it was late and it was a Friday and I think they just wanted to finish up but they had to come back and do some things that should have been done the first time around. I was a little upset over the miscommunication. But all in all they did come bad fix what they didn't do.

The delivery was fine and prompt, but that was the only good thing. The wood they delivered is awful. It barely burns (whether they left it uncovered or it wasn't seasoned). Some of the pieces are over 24" in length and will not fit in my insert at all!! They are not nicely cut and i have huge hulking pieces and then little slivers. This was the worst $250 I ever spent - I would stay clear of this company if you need firewood. I couldn't even burn this junk in a campfire.

C2 employees kept in touch by phone to ensure I wanted the product and was available for delivery. This is my first time purchasing firewood from this company. The quality is about the same as my previous supplier, but cheaper in price. A good mix of hardwoods, with no poplar in it. Some odd lengths, but okay with that for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. Placed the firewood where I wanted it. Will consider buying from them again in the future.

They did a good job. They cleaned up well. They shredded it and they cleaned up after themselves.

I gave a list of work that I wanted done - a "must do" and a "like to do" - for estimates. I was not home when the estimate was prepared but one tree I wanted taken down was only estimated for pruning. When the crew arrived, we discussed the specifics of the pruning and the tree in question and the foreman agreed that the tree really needed to come down, not just be pruned. They had to come back for the stump grinding and there was some scheduling confusion in that the grinder arrived on a day I wasn't expecting and one of my vehicles was blocking the way so they had to come back another time. It was a very minor annoyance - definitely not something that would prevent me from hiring them again.

Assured me before the sale and at delivery that they would deliver a full cord of wood 128 cubic feet. However after careful stackng and measuring I received significantly less than a full cord. The driver said at dumping the wood when I asked if it was full cord that "we wouldn't drive this far with less than a full cord - there is more than a full cord." I called two times to follow-up and could only leave messages as they wouldn't answer the phone. I sent a letter on October 4 with photographs and details about the measurements. No response. UPDATE: LATE NOVEMBER - I contacted the MD State Bureau of Weights and Measures and they were very responsive coming to my house to measure the wood received and taking a statement from me. They contacted the vendor the same day and C2 Crane and Tree Service did contact me the same afternoon with apologies for the misunderstanding. They then delivered additional wood, more than the shortage. So they made it right and I appreciate that. I have updated the scores above to reflect that they rectified the situation.

I phoned for appointment, was told best she could say at that time was a week or so later (10/20), between 12 & 2p because she wasn't sure of his schedule. Oct 20th rolls around & at 1:50p he had not arrived & not phoned, so I phoned office to check that we were still scheduled. She said he'd be here by 2P. He did arrive about 2:10p. I feel she should have phoned to confirm appointment and advise that he was running at the late end of the appointment window. So, Chris Somebody (said he was the owner) arrived. I asked for business card, he said d he'd provide with proposal(?!). I asked if he was certified arborist because I did not want "Joe Schmoe with a chain saw"; he said he was an arborist. We walked to the property line where I pointed out & explained the colored markers I'd used (yellow indicating trees that needed expert's attention, red for kill or remove, white for keep). He asked several times who ha performed the previous work (there was downed wood on the ground, performed by another "arborist" who I am currently trying to replace); I declined to name the previous company, only explaining that I was not happy with their work (they climbed the tree they trimmed with "spikes" instead of using ropes) and that I was looking for another arborist. As I was trying to point out the trees of concern, marked with yellow tape, Chris re-asked about the color coding, said I had marked "Rose of Sharon" out there (there is no Rose of Sharon in this yard, only rose mallow, and none in that area. I think he was talking about the red taped invasive Japanese honeysuckle.); Chris stated he is the company owner, felt uncomfortable working with me, had 3 more estimates to do, that I should call [2 other Angie's List arborists, 1 of which I had already met with] because the trees (which ones?) need [treatment of some sort] that he doesn't do. The entire visit was very brief (under 10 minutes) and very weird. I feel he wasn't considerate of my time, was not at all attentive to my concerns or what I wanted for my trees; generally very unprofessional. He couldn't seem to grasp that the arborist tree work isn't all that's going on in the yard right now, nor that I was not willing to name the former arborist. Very unprofessional, very unpleasant.

Great, I asked that they cut it down so it would fall in the woods. They did that plus. They were kind enough to cut up the tree enough to leave a path for our dog. They inquired about cutting around the obvious run path. I was reluctant to pay for it. They did it for the dog.

They did a good job. I wasn't here when they did it. He said he would send them out at any time when they were in my area so when I looked up the work was done. It looked fine to me. The owner was professional.
