Nicole Lewis

Nicole has been prompt and on time; showing up twice a day to take the dogs out and has worked with the dogs to become better leash trained with the knowledge that down the road I would be walking them again.  Nicole has also started to work with me in my recovery to walk the dogs so that they are not going to pull me down if a squirrel or other distraction should ( and most definately will) occur that would cause them to pull.  Nicole gave me a base price which was way too low for what I felt should be paid as she is trustworthy, kind, and most of all is so great with the dogs.  She will practice in the house to get my dog to stay by walking further and further away with a treat as a reward for obedience.  She has been such a blessing and a God-Send to me because I could not count on friends to take on such a committment.  I have been home now for going on 4 weeks and with all the terrible cold, snowy weather, she has not missed a moment to be here for me and my dogs.  The house can go to h*** with vacuuming etc, but the peace of mind that I have had that my animals are being cared for is key to me being able to focus on healing.  I cannot sing high enough praises about this "Dog Whisperer" and the dedication and knowledge she has about animals.  She is not overly expensive, but is worth a fortune.  Our price was negotiated so I paid about $40/day for two dogs with different needs , but have given her a good tip for all the little extra things she has done that go beyond just pet walking. She has brushed them, played with them, and loved them.   I know that other people who have long work days or have a sudden misfortune worry about leaving their fur babies.  With Nicole, that worry does not exist for me.  It will also be a comfort when I return to work to know that should I get caught in the DC traffic or have something come up, I can give her a call and she can help me out at a moments notice.  I live fairly close by her, but she is able to travel or do the overnight within the metro area. Anyone who needs a short term or long term pet sitter/walker will not go wrong by contacting Nicole Lewis.  She is the best!!
