"Beth's floors look beautiful. I do all of our estimates and I met Beth onsite to scope her job. I explained that we could fill nail holes that resulted from someone nailing nails right thru the top pf the floors to stop squeaking. She had a number of large gaps in between boards and there was no discussion with me about filling those gaps with putty or removing the boards and installing larger ones to make the gaps disappear. I learned after we completed the job that unbeknownst to me, Beth had spoken with Chris in my office just before we started the job and they somehow agreed to fill the gaps with putty. I never would have agreed to that and it was not in our contract. We performed the scope of work we agreed to in writing. The job took us 4 days and we returned 1 day after that to move the furniture back into the house at their direction."
