I had a high efficacy heat pump system installed by ARS 11/2 ago. I am used to gas furnace so understanding how heat pump works is an education. The mechanic was very patient in explaining how it works and what to look for if there is an issue. Of course this cold season a got an high unexpected bill from the electric company and was baffled because of the amount I spent on this high efficiency unit. They came out looked at and found no issue. They explained this was a very unusual cold season and the unit performed accordingly for sub freezing condition. They did leave a card and said if I see anytjing that look unusual please give them a call asap. The mechanic was very knowledgeable.

The technician was great. He explained what he was doing as he went along even though it was freezing outside. Checked my entire heating system to find the problem and replaced only the parts that were broken. Got my system back up and running in a little under two hours and was very pleasant and understanding when we asked him many questions and answered everyone so that we understood him. Thank you so much for your professional manner and courteousness. Got my hearing system to stop running in emergency mode and back to normal heat. Thanks

I would reduce the stars lower if I could. This is a terrible company. I thought going with a larger company would get better service and that is not the case. I had them install a unit that has already broken down after only as year and a half. I call the emergency help line they give me an appointment between 9-12 at night. By 1130 I had called 2 more times to see if they had an estimated arrival time, they did not but promised they escalated it. By 1:30 the next morning I still had not heard anything and after more "escalations" finally got someone that told me they could not get in touch with the technician. I go to bed, in the morning someone shows up to fix the system after not having heat all night. They were not able to fix the system because it was too complicated for them. These were the people that installed the system and sent out an unqualified tech. So another appointment later that day and my system is providing heat. Two weeks later my electric bill is through the roof

Requested quotes due to a burning small coming from my HVAC unit. Pro who came to my home for the initial quote was amazing. He answered all my questions and explained the urgency of getting my unite replaced. He provided options for an upgraded unit and financing. Not only that, I was able to get a next day appointment for installation which was super helpful because it is been getting really cold overnight. I'd highly suggest hiring ARS of Maryland.

They are courteous and professional, and follow through with appointments and service needs very well. Get their service agreement for $20 a month. Gives you discounts on repairs, keeps your equipment running smoothly bc you routine service based on the type of equipment you have.

mechanic and his crew did a good job. The salesman promised more than delivered. I was promised and paid for a Rheem, 75000 BTU unit. I received an inferior brand producing 45000 BTU. Bait and switch. NO one has contacted me about the change of product.
