Thompson Creek Window Company designs, manufactures, sells, and installs stronger, safer windows built specifically for your home and our unique climate. We have been customizing and manufacturing replacement windows, doors, gutters, siding and roofing in the Mid-Atlantic region since 1980. Our products deliver time and again, improving a home’s energy efficiency and increasing home values, curb appeal and sheer comfort. Everything went very well. We talked to the salesman a couple of times and explained what we wanted, and got quotes. Another guy came out and measured all of the frames and we got a date setup. We were flexible on date and got an additional discount for attending their summer party and doing a tour of their factory.
The workers came out early and got right to work. My wife works from home and they were good about getting her office done first so that she could work. Everything was installed professionally and cleaned up afterwards. One window was cracked and a replacement was installed within 24 hours.
Overall we had a great experience and will call on them again when we get our gutters and door replaced.

Arrived on time, crew got set up and didn't waste time getting to work. The four-man team worked efficiently, each knowing their responsibilities/role. No wasted time.
As requested, Master bedroom was done first....with all interior portion completed with in 1 1/2hrs after arriving, thus allowing us to letting our cats out in the master bedroom while not getting in the way or out an open window.
IF we saw an issue, it was addressed and corrected.
One window arrived with a small/tiny nick. Thompson Creek is replacing the window at no charge.
There where three windows that had some level of rotting wood, and instead of hiding it, they identified it to us, and took steps to replace before covering with the final edging.
Before the team left, they cleaned up EVERYTHING inside and outside.
BTW, from the time I looked up Thompson Creek and the time they actually came to do the install was over a month... that was our choice.

They did a good job; everything was well done. The only issue I had was that I kept finding screws on the ground for two weeks afterwards. Other than that, everything was fine.

All the staff that we dealt with were very professional, courteous and prompt. They double checked the measurements and particulars of the job before it started and the windows and doors were done in one day. All the materials are very high quality and I am very happy with the results. I would highly recommend them.

Project: Replace the gutters with seem-less covered gutters, to include down spouts. Our old gutters were, well, old. The previous owners used a combination of three different gutter cover systems that were not working well.
Product: The product sold itself. Gutter size, seem-less construction, material thickness, construction, details like the filters on the down spouts and limited lifetime warranty, made Thompson Creek (TC) standout. Note: this is a complete system, not just covers.
Install: There were three visits from TC: initial consult, final measurement with extruder (they actually made the gutters on site), and installation. On the day of installation, the two-man crew arrived approx. 9 am and left by 2:30 pm. Someone from QA visited during install. The crew was awesome -- very professional, efficient, and they knew what they were doing.
Overall impression of Thompson Creek: We like supporting locally made products and it helps that this is a good one. When dealing with TC, it is apparent that they are a big operation (ie their phone and computer system), however they seem committed to providing good customer service. Everyone we had interactions with were very courteous and professional. We would consider them again for future projects.

The work was performed in a very efficient manner. There was some misunderstanding on the count of the windows - the original estimate was based on counting two windows as one (with a single opening), but when the contractor came to do the final measurements, we were informed that these are actually two windows and that the estimate would be significantly revised upwards. Since the revised estimate made the offer non-competitive, we were about to go with another contractor. Thompson Creek made every effort to bring down the price to make their bid competitive. Accepting their mistake, TC management agreed to honor the original estimate. We were very impressed with their commitment to the clients.

I love my new windows! I noticed a difference in the temperature in my bedroom immediately. It was much warmer, and with this extremely cold winter, it was obvious that the rooms with the new windows were not drafty and much more comfortable than before. They were very good about cleaning up as they were working.

It turned out pretty good. It took them a half day to the work, as they removed the rotted parts prior to installing the door. The project manager came by after the crew finished to make sure everything was done correctly. They called to confirm before they came out as well. We had them do gutter protection a few years ago and were happy about that experience too. We also like that they do a lifetime gutter cleaning. We have been satisfied every time that they've come out.
