I got estimates from 5 different contractors and I thought Roofworks' had the best price for the materials I used. The estimate was thorough and fair. Also, they had a very quick turnaround time. They told me the work will be done within two weeks of signing the contract, it was actually done well before the two week period. Stephani was always prompt and clear in his communications. The actual installation went smoothly. Because I live in a townhouse, debris from the roof went flying into my neighbors' driveways and decks and Roofworks crew was nice enough to clean up everything. Only time will tell how the roof survives, but so far I have been very happy with them.

The work itself is amazing. I couldn't be happier with the team that showed up to do the installation. They were professional and polite. That said, scheduling was a nightmare. I had an estimate done and paid a deposit, and then had to have the estimate changed when the damage was determined to be worse than anticipated. I had to call twice after the walkthrough to get the updated estimate. I signed the contract and called a week later, 2 weeks later, and 2.5 weeks later, trying to find out when the work would be scheduled. Because of the nature of the work, the contractors would need to have access to the inside of my house, so I needed to take the day off from work. Each time I called, I was told I would get a call back. I never received a call back. According to the contract, the work was to begin within 21 days. At the 22 day mark, I called and left a message asking when they were going to schedule the work now that they were in violation of the contract. I received a call back at 8:30 the following morning while I was at work saying that they were actually on site at my house beginning the work, and oh yes, I did need to be there for it, so could I please go home. Thankfully, I am lucky enough to have an understanding boss. By the time I got home, there was a hole cut in the side of the house, so I'm not sure what would have happened if I would not have been able to be there. As I said, the team performing the work was amazing. Unfortunately, they left some of the wiring disconnected and I was promised someone would come back the following Monday to repair it. That took another two weeks to finally get fixed. This company has great potential, and the work, once completed, was awesome. That said, you have to be prepared for some serious administrative problems.

This was the best price for the job after shopping it out to several roofers. The credentials were all in line so I felt very confident that I had chosen well.
A one-day job turned into two days, but that didn't matter at all. After the first day, I noticed some debris in my garden and some plants trod upon. I raised my concerns with the company and after the job was completed, the grounds were spotless.

Roofworks' entire team was excellent. I initially selected them after getting 4 other estimates. Their specialist, Dave, came prepared with all paperwork, went up on the roof and gave me very clear expectations. I also had a tight window which I made clear and Roofworks delivered. The install crew came around 8:00 AM, exactly as scheduled and completed the Install and cleanup by the end of the day. Knowing very little about roofing I was very nervous about this project but I can vouch for Roofworks professionalism, excellent workmanship and their patience with my questions! This was the largest offer I have bought via Angie's, I am truly satisfied and I highly recommend Roofworks. Thank You Roofworks!!

Excellent service from first estimate to job completion! I asked for several estimates and believe me, some companies need to take a second look at their first introduction to customers! Roofworks was very professional while at the same time being personable. Installation was very fast after acceptance, first class material used, work crew was great, and final supervision was great - they even had a crew member replace a neighbors chimney cap - no charge.

I have used Roofworks in the past for windows and we recently bought a new house and it needed a new roof. We called them for the estimate and liked the price and shingle option. They were great with communication of shingle delivery and installation date. They had the roof installed in one day and the clean up was outstanding! It is reassuring to know they have been in business for over 20 years. I will use them again for new siding in the fall.

The representative came to my home, explained all my options and left information to review since I was also getting estimates from other companies. He told me about the AngiesList special without me asking about it. He was very patient and professional. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. They started working about 2 weeks after I signed the contract and the job was completed in 1 day as promised. He also sent me pictures during the day so that I could see the progress. I'm very pleased.

Your roof is steep and close to three stories, a factor for the technicians and a factor for pricing. RoofWorks came out for an estimate. They seemed professional and thorough in the estimate, and it was an admittedly large job (row house with multiple old roofing layers that needed to be removed and replaced). Took a couple weeks longer to get the estimate than we were initially told, and it ended up coming in nearly four times the other "A" rated Angie's List companies. The low rating is due to the fact that they seemed to be drastically raising the estimate to avoid the difficult job, rather than simply informing us they did not wish to take on that scale of job. Would've rather they had been honest and upfront if that was the case. If that wasn't the case, really can't understand the price difference with other highly rated companies using equally good materials.
