Greg Goss was great to deal with. I found them through word of mouth, and confirmed on Angies List. Their estimateor took the time to guide us through picking out all the products and colors. His crews came on time, and did quality work. Every step was performed to my satisfaction before they moved on. The front portico is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Our home looks like a new house, and is quiter and less drafty with the new house wrap. All the work was a quality installation. I would, and have recommended Goss for this type of work.

We found Goss Contracting to be very professional and honest in the sales and estimating process. We ultimately did not choose them for our roof work because their quote was on the high side. I had a high degree of respect for the professionalism and trustworthiness of the company. The owner of the company followed up with me to make sure that all of my questions were answered.

They were recommended to me by the people who I work with. When they came in, none of them were standing around and everybody had a job to do and they were continuously working, and within four hours my roof was replaced and they were moving on to the next job. They did an excellent job.

Was done better much as I was told, no problems encountered . Done neatly and completed on time.

We got a lot of estimates and some of them were way high....some were skeptically low.... gj goss is just right!

Overall the experience was confusing. The installers complained that there were two roofs and they did not know that. I made it quite clear that I had informed the estimator, Mr. Scranton, about the two roofs and it was spelled out in the contract.

Very good experience. We would use them again and refer them to anyone interested in there kind of work.

When the windows were in the warehouse I was contacted by the office staff to set up an appointment for installation. I stressed the importance of the workers being careful not to get my new carpet dirty. On the day of the installation I met with Scott and his install team. Everyone was very friendly and ready to get the job done that day. I left the house and went to work leaving instructions for locking up. Since I had never been through this before I had no idea what to expect. To my surprise all the windows were installed and I could not tell that anyone had been in my house. Every room was just like I left it. I didn't even have to do any touch-up painting!! I would highly recommend GJ Goss for replacement window installation!!

We accepted their quote. They told us they would be out the following week to do the work. There was no need for someone to be home. They left a note on the door letting us know they performed the work. They sent us an invoice and a thank you card. I would definitely use this company again.

I had previously used them to repair some boots in the roof in the summer and thought and quot;hey, they did a great job then, let's use them again.and quot; Well much to my chagrin, they never returned my message that was left and then after a week of waiting, I called them back again and spoke to a woman who said and quot;he gets all his messages and I am sure he will call you back.and quot; She also asked if he did work on my roof in the past and I told her yes. Well, it's now months later and I STILL have not received a call from them. The leak got bigger so I had to have my son go slop some black stuff on the roof to stop it from leaking. Needless to say, while waiting for a call back, it rained a couple times and the issue got worse. I am not happy with the lack of response.

FANTASTIC...Professional from time of estimate to completion of job......couldn't be happier with job...They showed up on time...worked over 10 hours/day...then second team came out for the gutters and guards.......cleaned up at end of each day......very fair price....excellent workmanship!!!! I have recommended this company to family and friends... You can't go wrong with this company!! This company was recommended to me by the Heating and Air Conditioning company that installed my gas furnaces...they do all of their job-related installs...

It was fantastic. About 8 men came in and they were done in about 4 hours. They did a great job and were very honest.

Could not have done a better job. On time, worked all day to complete the large roofing prodject in just one day, cleaned up and came back a few days later to check with us and to clean up anything they missed the first time. Just a great experiance over all. I highly rcommend them.

This report is made on behalf of a co-worker--GJ Goss was referred by another co-worker, and I looked them up on Angie's List. My friends were very happy with the work. After a date was scheduled, the company was able to move it to an earlier date because Hurrican Irene was set to affect the area. The work was done well, and the price was reasonable.

Goss is a good company, and they seem to be responsive, professional, and reasonably priced. They did my parent's roof and they were very happy with the work. Over the past few years, they have been out to my townhouse twice to attempt to fix this small leak near my chimney stacks. The first time (for around $300), the sealed and installed flashing. That seemed to help, but didn't fix the problem 100% as water was still leaking into the interior cavity/chace where the stacks come inside. On the second trip this past July, Scott suggested that my roof design (dating back to 1978 w/ a reshingle in the 90's) wasn't ideal, and that they were trying to band-aid a flawed design, but that there wasn't any reason to truly change it until I put a new roof on - something they insisted I didn't need at this time (and I do believe them). I'm still not sure that $600 later, the problem is fixed. I'm waiting for the next big storm when I'm home and can look inside the wall yet again and see if water is dripping - but for now, I'm not sold on their repair abilities. I know they're compensating for a builder's design that they didn't have anything to do with, but I'd almost rather they told me to put a new roof on for 4 grand (which would truly fix everything) rather then paying hundreds each year with little improvement. Hired GJ Goss after gathering a number of roofing estimates from a few different companies. The initial consultation was very satisfying. All work was explained in detail, and the sales approach was pleasantly "low pressure". Their proposal was in line with other estimates, and even a bit cheaper than some smaller companies. The company came out as promised for an estimate and provided a nice detailed packet of information on who they are, licenses, and roofing material/shingle information. If I had any questions, they were available to answer them and were very responsive. They provided actual samples of shingles when requested and provided locations of other customers in the area that had roofing installed by their company in the colors we were interested in. That was the best option for getting an idea of what the color looks like. They were very flexible with regards to scheduling the actual job. This particular month was quite rainy, so it was nice to see that they can work around the weather and the schedule of the homeowner. The day of the installation went smoothly. Since our roof was a tear off/replace, they took great care to cover up any light fixtures and were careful not to damage shrubbery, etc. If someone in our house needed to run out for an errand, etc, they were careful to pause all work until it was safe to proceed out/in. Cleanup was very well done. Very little evidence that they were here when they completed. They even went around the entire residence with a magnetic roller to ensure that any nails were not hidden in the lawn. This was reassuring since have a number of small children in our neighborhood and a small daughter ourselves. Its been one rainy/windy month since the installation and no issues. My neighbors have complemented their work and are in the process of hiring them to replace their roof!

We were very pleased with the job. Mr. Goss arrived on time to provide an estimate and the workers arrived every morning on time to complete the job (with no cost over-runs). They cleaned up the jobsite so you couldn't tell anything had been done...except for a gorgeous new roof!

Pretty good, great sales job but owner was only on site for the work for a few minutes over several days. Would have liked more supervision.

Fell short on his estimate of material, but supplied it at no additional cost to me. Returned the next day to inspect, clean up and pick up loose nails. Returned 1 week later to check on the roof. Over all, very professional and great to work with. Have no issues with G J Goss and have recommended to several others.

They are a very good company, do great work. They are very fast and reliable. Price reflects 50 year architectural roof. He brought about 12 workers, had the job done in one day.

They're workmanship was nice. Once they got going they worked well and got it done quickly. It was a really good price.

All work was completed quickly and efficiently with minimum inconvenience to our family. The work was area thoroughly cleaned up.

Very professional estimate. Fast response to questions and follow up. Good job. He said no trucks in driveway, but there were. Didn't see magnetic sweeping. Found a few nails after completion. Use him, overall a good job.
