Description of Work: Put up gutter in December 2011 and winter proofed old roof (winter proof was provided at no cost). Gave estimate for new roof in the spring. In spring 2012, tore up old roof (already double shingled, so had to start over); replaced with new roof. Total of gutter and roof replacement about 15K. L-Shaped rancher.

 + -1 moreTheir field guys are fantastic although I had some issues with their office personnel. Whoever answered the phones kept saying they'd call me back and never would. Mr. Goss and his workers went above and beyond the call of duty from the service standpoint and for that I'd recommend them to others.

 + -1 moreThe secretary at the company was always polite and always called us back. She said she was unable to give us a reason for the no-shows but would have the owner, Greg Goss call us. He never called us back despite many calls. We were flexible with our time frame and would have understood if there were rain delays, etc., but we never received an explanation or even a courtesy call to inform us why he was not coming. As of today 10/5/06 we have decided to seek out another contractor. Even if Mr Goss showed up today, we don't feel we could rely on him to promptly resolve any complications or issues that might arise.
Description of Work: The company came out within several days and gave an estimate to replace our roof. Estimator was very professional and he was very well prepared with several brochures and samples. We accepted their proposal at the end of July 2006 and scheduled a date of 8/24/06 for the work. The company did not show up on 8/24. We called and rescheduled twice more and the company failed to call or show up on any of the dates.

 + 0 moreGJ GOSS INSTALLED OUR NEW ROOF and GUTTERS IN THE TIME FRAME SPECIFIED. THEY REMOVED THE OLD SHINGLES and GUTTERS. THE INSTALLERS WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, and VERY CONSCIENTIOUS OF THEIR WORK. CLEAN UP WAS ALSO NICE.
Description of Work: GJ GOSS INSTALLED OUR NEW ROOF, GUTTERS, & DOWNSPOUTS. THE AREA COVERED WAS ROUGHLY 2,000 SQUARE FEET.

 + 0 moreTHE WORK WAS PERFORMED DURING COLD WEATHER, SO THERE ARE SOME SPOTS THAT BUCKLE WHEN IT GETS HOT OUTSIDE AND THERE ARE 4 AREAS WHERE THE GUTTERS LEAK. I HAVE CALLED APPROXIMATELY 5 TIMES TO HAVE IT FIXED,(IT'S UNDER THEIR WARRANTY) BUT THEY WON'T RETURN MY CALLS. USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Description of Work: WE NEEDED ALL OF THE WOOD TRIM ON OUR HOUSE WRAPPED WITH ALUMINUM SIDING MATERIAL AND NEEDED NEW GUTTERS.

 + -1 moreTHEY CAME OUT ON TIME TO ESTIMATE THE JOB. WE CONTACTED THEM WITH OUR BUDGET WHICH WAS $200 LESS THEN THEY ESTIMATED BUT THEY MET US 1/2 WAY AND WE SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE. THEY MAILED A NEW ESTIMATE AND WE SIGNED AND RETURNED. THEY CALLED US 2 DAYS AHEAD TO NOTIFY US THEY WERE COMING. THEY SHOWED UP ON SCHEDULE AND LEFT A NOTE ON PHONE THEY HAD BEEN HERE AND THEY WILL RETURN TOMORROW TO FINISH. THEY RETURNED THE NEXT DAY AND THEN THEY LEFT A MESSAGE ON PHONE TO SAY THEY WERE DONE AND THEY WILL BILL US IN A WEEK. CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS. THEY CAME, CLEANED UP AND DID EXCELLENT WORK.
Description of Work: REMOVE & DISPOSE OF THE EXISTING ROOF ON ADDITION ROOM ONLY. THE ICE & SNOW BARRIER EXISTING MAY BE FULLY ADHERED AND UNABLE TO REMOVE SO IT MAY BE LEFT AS UNDERLAY. INSTALL A FIBERGLAS BASE SHEET. FULLY ADHERE A GAF GRANULAR SURFACED MODIFIED BITUMEN ROLLED ROOFING WITH BLACK SURFACE. INSTALL DRIP EDGE & FLASH WHERE NEEDED. $2,111.00

 + -1 moreTHE COMPANY COMPLETED THE WORK QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. THE PROBLEM CAME ON THE FOLLOW UP. THE ROOF STARTED TO LEAK AFTER THE FIRST BIG RAIN STORM AND THEY WOULD NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS, AS THEY GUARANTEED THEIR WORK. I HAD TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE.
Description of Work: I HIRED THE COMPANY TO REPLACE SOME TILES ON THE ROOF THAT HAD BEEN BLOWN AWAY IN A STORM. THEY ALSO CLEANED THE GUTTERS OF THE HOUSE. THEY WERE TO ALSO FIX A LEAK ON THE ROOF. I HIRED THEM BECAUSE THEY HAD AN EXCELLENT REPUTATION IN THE BEL AIR AREA.
