Shower Door King

An experienced salesman mismeasured our glass, so the material first delivered could not be installed.  However, 1 week later the excellent installers returned with glass correctly cut and put it in without incident.  The final product was the finishing touch on a high-end master bath renovation, and the shower looks terrific.  Total elapsed time since placing the order was 3 weeks and 1 day.  It would have been finished in exactly 2 weeks except for the measurement problem.

Shower Door King explained to me what it was going to cost. They took the measurements. They had us measure first and then they sent somebody out to confirm the measurements. Pretty much they did what they said they were going to do. I was redoing my bathroom and we changed the tile. Where the door closes at the bottom, the glass had to be cut or changed. They started to put it up and they found out they couldn't do it. We had to get the person who put in the tile to come back and change it, so the door could fit. They came back out and got it to work. They were perfect. They were very polite and very professional. They cleaned up behind themselves. We're loving the glass shower doors.

Our initial contact with ShowerDoorKing was through an Angie?s List e-mail.  Response to the e-mail was quick and thorough.  After receiving ballpark figures from a few companies we decided to proceed with SDK.  Al came out to measure, from which a more formal quote was drafted.  The quote ended up being a bit less that the initial figure!  In roughly ten days the installation was scheduled.  The installation was amazing.  The crew of two clearly knew what they are doing.  They were both efficient and extremely conscientious.  They took great care in the installation and in protecting surrounding areas.  Both enclousers are beautiful!

Shower Door King was very responsive from initial measurements of both the bath and gym. I got a basic price quote which placed them near the best price. Even thought they were not the lowest rate the quality of the personal care and professionalism factored into my final choice of having them install both the bathroom shower door and the mirrors in the house gym. Shower Door King reps also made a second site visit at no additional cost to firm up better measurements for the house gym mirrors. Once again this measurement team was very thorough in taking measurements and explaining how they would place the mirrors on the wall. I was given a time frame for the manufacturing process of glass for both the bathroom as the Starephire (low iron) glass required to be special ordered from an outside company. The staff at Shower Door King was always very responsive to my request and updated me constantly of the status of my order during the period of waiting for the special order glass to arrive. The staff worked within my schedule to establish a time for the doors and mirrors to be installed. On the day of installation, I was keep informed of the teams estimated arrival. They were prompt on site and very professional upon arrival. We did a per-installation walk through to ensure that everything was built as I had requested. The install team walked through with me to show all the product prior to install so I knew that everything was top quality and what I had ordered. The install team then began to put the shower unit door together. The team came to me with an problem which I had already noticed which was that the inside lip of the bottom shower transom dipped slightly to the exterior of the shower. The slope had been to the inside during initial setup of the transom but as the tile was laid in place the slope had changed slightly this could cause minor water leakage to the outside of the shower door. The install team informed me that they could make my door stop so that I could remove it. As my other contractor had planned to cut down the inside shower transom and relay the tile so the slope would drain properly back into the shower. Shower Door King install team made sure that this process wouldn't damage the work of the door install. I was very pleased that they had found a work around for this small issue. The rest of the shower door installation was accomplished without further issues. The mirrors in the gym were installed with no problems and definitely made a huge change in the overall look of the gym area. Shower Door King install team after completion cleaned up and did a final walk through of the work they had done. The install team went over and left brochures with me for the warranty and how-to-clean and care for the mirrors and shower door glass. Overall the service was top-notch and by far exceeded several other groups I had spoken with. I would highly recommend this professional team to anyone seeking shower doors or specialized mirror products

Shower Door King rep determined what was needed to replace exiisting broken door on 01/24/2013. He provided work scope and
cost statement same evening. I emailed acceptance and authorized credit card deposit the next morning by phone. The expected
delivery would be about two weeks. I was called on 02/07 and set up 02/11 for installation. The crew arrived on schedule and went
right to work. They removed the old frame and door. They shimmed the new installation to properly fit the new frame (house is nearly 
forty seven years old and many walls are slightly out of kilter). Very professioal! This crew really knew what they were doing. The
result was a new spic and span shower door. As directed, we waited until any silicone sealer had firmly set. We have now used 
the shower - all is well. no leaks. 
Very nice crew. Clean cut. Well spoken. Took off their shoes and vacuumed work area when they were finished. Total time was 
about two and a half hours.
I told the rep that I had used Angie's List for a source. I should also note that we were given the stated senior discount.

Everyone was responsive and professional.  Guys who came to do job were on time, very knowledgable/skilled, and did the job quickly and very well.  And they were courteous and friendly.  Would absolutely call them again with any shower enclosure related needs.

Took several weeks to have framed designed to specs but installation went great.  Very professional including including owner, office and operations staff.  An overall positive experience.

Perfectly. They started with an onsite measurement,showed me a copy of the product and faxed the price that evening. We contacted the office the next day,made 1/2 deposit and it arrived and was installed within 8 days! I was given a time when the installers would be here and they were right on time. We would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality,well done job.

The services were good. They were good. They said that they gave me a break on the price but I really couldn't compare it.

Excellent Service, beautiful work. One shower door was installed and looks absolutely fabulous. It gives the bathroom a whole new look. The installers noticed that the porcelain was damaged/cracked on the second shower and suggested that we have it repaired before putting on the shower door. The workers were very helpful in explaining what needed to be done and the importance of doing the repairs first. We will have the second shower door installed next week.

It was an excellent experience from start to finish. The estinmate was timely and the work was perfect. The shower doors were installed on an existing shower stall and it fits perfectly and looks like it was made for it. He also replaced the bathroom closet doors. All work was completed neatly and very professionally.

We researched options locally and on line. A neighbor recommended ShowerDoorKing after having a successful install in his second home. We had some telephone interaction first with Tracey, Mr. Bruch's executive assistant. She was cheerful and informative. When we tried to describe what we were looking for and had nto found on their website, Travcey sent cut sheets of just what we were seeking. We then made an appointment with Mr. Bruch.

The measurement sessionwent as scheduled and we worked our way thru option choices. We were to receive quotes that evening,, which arrived as promised. We approved the drawings, having to make two minor changes. We then made our downpayment and waited to scedule the install - and we placed a timeliine on them because of a visit from relatives.

The crew arrived at the appopinted hour and began to work. They installed the swinging door quickly and cleaned up nicely. When they started the larger sliding door system, the crew discovered a shipping error. Mr. Bruch showed up extremely quickly and we worked out an acceptable and creative solution to allow our soon to be arriving guests a nice shower etc. The crew performed a partial install and cleaned up nicely. Tracey then kept us advised as to the arrival of the correct hardware, and we scheduled a mutually convnenient time to finish the install. The crew returned on time, worked quickly, cleaned up nicely and gave us instructions about use and cleaning.

The shower doors look great, work well and please us. They compliment the other remodeling efforts nicely. We would use ShowerDoorKing again without hesitation and will recommend them to friends.

Superb buying and service experience.  Everything you could want in someone adding a major piece to a new bathroom. 

Do ask lots of questions.  Alfred gave me concise and spot on answers.  Plus pictures where needed of other projects.  Plus both things to do and not do.

My only regret is that we don't have another bathroom that needs to be done.

Shower Door King has been around a long time.  They are professional, punctual and responsive.  I don't know how to say it in a better way than this:  From start to finish, you know you are dealing with professionals who know their business.  I do not think they are the lowest price available, but, there are no surprises, and no additional charges.  I do not, and never have, hesitated to recommend Shower Door King.

The service provided by them was fine. I needed the shower doors for my house that was renovated. They came in and did the job. My wife was the one who dealt with them and she said that they were outstanding. I am not quite sure about the price.

It took a couple of weeks to schedule an appointment. They try to accumulate jobs in a given town before going out. When I initially balked at their quoted price, they offered a lower price for the same work. It took 4 visits to get the work done correctly. The caulking job was poor - gaps in the bead and ends were not properly smoothed out. Once to evaluate and give an estimate, one to do the work and two to three times to redo the work properly. 2 or 3 months after the work was done, the repair failed and they had to make adjustments but there was no charge.

The technicians/servicemen were very professional and courteous, on-time, and very neat and exacting in their work.

They were very good and I was impressed with them. They were installing a thick glass frameless shower door in a fairly confined space and the guy who came to measure really thought through a number of issues and detail. They basically took the time to think it through and they had a good solution to it. They turned it around very promptly and were very pleasant to deal with.

Excellent. Everything was smooth from beginning to end -- from getting an estimate to the day of installation. The new shower door arrived even sooner than anticipated.
