I bought a mattress from Ashley Furniture in December of 2012 and by April 2013 the mattress and formed a large bump on the one side of the bed, ( This was a beautyrest pillow top mattress ) I decided to contact Ashley and the in turn put me in touch with their service dept. I was told the mattress was still under warrenty and to take a pic of the problem and email it to them. Had to call them weeks later to see what was going on and was told they now needed another pic but wanted a pic of the boxspring, I took the pic. then had to contact them again and guess what they wanted more pics. This time all the way down to the bed frame. ( dont know if anyone else would enjoy this but I didnt foresure) Sent the pics and was informed now they are going to send someone out to inspect the mattress. This went back and forth for a couple months. I had to call them to see when the service person would be out and was directed to call the service location myself and check with them. I did and found that they had no record of anyone comming to look at this mattress. By this time Im getting up set and call a service manger. ( first name Ahmud ) Which he wouldnt take my call at first until I called and said I was returing his call, I explaned things out to him and was informed that they were doing everything they could do. I asked whats that making your customer jump through a bunch of hoops until they have had enough and go away.. He informed me someone would call the next day and let me know about the service man comming out , A couple a days later they call to say the service man would be out to look at my problem. This man took more pic from the box spring all the way to the bed frame just like I was requested to do and then guess what ? (he left the bed to be put back together by my girl freind. He informed my girlfreind that some one will be contacting me and they would be replacing the mattress. Would you belive I received a call and they wanted me to send them another pic of the mattress and one of the tag. I ask if they are crazy or what and informed them I had removed the tag along with the 5 other tags that was on the matress. Was informed there was nothing they could do for me because I removed the tags. I said they could have saved us both alot of trouble if that would have been asked for in the begining. Well I didnt get arrested for removing the tag but i did loose out on getting it replaced for being faulty according to Ashley. I will never shop with Ashley again or recomend them to anyone. Hope this helps someone looking to by from Ashley..
Description of Work: Caused me to jump thought a bunch of hoops they said I had to do before sending someone out to inspect my problem. Finally sent someone out and the serviceman said my mattress would be replaced upon inspection of the matress which was only 3 months old at the time of when the problem arrised. Informed me that someone would contact me in seven day to schedule the replacement.14 days later When I did receive a call I was informed they would not replace the mattress due to the fact I removed the tags, Not to mention I had my receipt that matched the make of the mattress
