It went EXCELLENT!!!! I submitted an online request hoping to get a quote. A few minutes later, I received a phone call from Ray at UNLIMBITED. We were lucky, they were finishing a job in the area and could stop provide a quote quickly. Within 30 minutes Ray surveyed the area and provided a quote. Within the hour a crew arrived and began work on the large tree in the back yard. It was impressive to watch the crew work. They were very professional. The tree was located very close to the house with large branches spanning over the house, garage and deck. With precision the crew worked quickly to remove the branches and safely lower them to the ground to avoid damaging our property. The crew mulched the brush onsite. Before leaving the crew cleaned up. Very impressed!!!!

This oak tree was dying right before our eyes and needed quick attention. The folks from UnLimbited were quick to stop by, provided an estimate (which I thought was reasonable) and laid out some worse case scenarios. Clearly it was a difficult task since the tree was sandwiched in the middle of four homes and directly above four sheds. Their workers attempted several approaches before finally resorting to the use of a crane. It was removed safely with no damage to the nearby homes. The estimate was reasonable considering the task before you. And although we had to pay extra for the crane, UnLimbited had informed us before any commitment was made and they only charged us for the estimated costs – even though the crane operator charged more for his services. Before we selected UnLimbited, I researched the company rather thoroughly. There were mostly positive reviews on Angie’s List. Moreover, you were given high marks by a family in our neighborhood and a family friend. That was all we needed to select this company.

Our neighbor was having a tree removed by them one day and we jumped on the chance to have our front yard cleaned up. They came by the next day to provide an estimate and offered a discount if we wanted to do the work that day. The removal crew was fast and efficient. Everyone was very professional. A few days later someone came back to grind the stumps or remove the stumps from the bushes. The work was done well and we will definitely use this company in the future.

Will never use this Company again. Beware of this company. One of my properties has a totally destroyed rear yard. They left huge tree trunks all over the yard for several days Before removing - there is absolutely No grass left. They don't use a crane and don't protect the lawn. The hedges were damaged and they left dead hedge limbs - no effort to clean out the hedges of dead limbs but I'm still trying to get them to do that. They have destroyed the rear lawn. Huge piles if grindingly were left and they even spread it out all over the lawn suffocating the grass. Awful job, but be aware that I was contacted telling me the job was done and I owed them money. What a joke ! The Job is far from done! On another property, I contracted with them for removal of several trees, removal of all wood sticks, tree bark, etc - all yard debris in yard, and removal of all tree stumps in yard. It's painful doing business with this Pasadena company! I'm still Waiting for several stumps to be removed but was told today By chuck (he would not give me his last name but said he was the owner) that he had no intention to remove those remaining stumps but fully expected me to pay him in full!!! What !? I get partial job done and he wants full payment? I have been harassed, yelled at, and threatened. This company sends workers to do the work but they have no idea what to do because the company doesn't tell them anything. One guy showed up at my house today unannounced, without prior arrangements being made but told me I'd have to tell him what he needs to do because the company doesn't tell him anything. I took him in the rear yard and showed him the debris - sticks, tree bark etc that needed to be removed. Then I left for the day. At the end of the day, chuck (who said he was the owner but would not give me his last name on the phone) called and he instructed this worker to stop doing what he was doing. Now I have piles of limb Debris all over the yard ! And Chuck wanted payment in full saying he was finished with the job and started accusing me of being a difficult client - ok, so I expect work to be done that I'm paying for and won't pay in full until the work is done - they are not performing per agreement with sales person named Joe But they think I'm the one being difficult !? What a joke ! Get the work done Unlimbited! I see from reading other reviews that other people have experienced the same type of problems with the performance of this Company. Hope this job gets completed before winter is here! This company was priced the same as other companies but others used a crane and this company does not. The other companies would protect the lawn from damage and this company did not. Plus they damaged surrounding hedges/bushes. This company claims to give you a 20% discount but if I did get that discount, that means this company is more expensive but does inferior work. They also pressure sale by saying I'll give you discount if you have the work today or tomorrow , Again, another discount that makes this company more expensive but you get inferior work !!! Buyer Beware !

Contacted six tree removal companies for estimates to remove the trees. Removal would be tricky because of their size and location in the yard in relation to my house and neighbors. Four of the six responded promptly. The estimates were in a wide range of prices. Unlimbeted gave me two prices depending on when the work was to be done. He offered a discount if the work was done that week. I told him we would decide after receiving all of the quotes. The morning after we received the last quote the owner contacted me and offered a further discount if he could come that day as he had to postpone a scheduled job because of weather. We decided to take a chance with them. The crew arrived an hour later and worked for 10 hours. They surveyed the trees and decided on a plan of action. They worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up the yard, took away the cut trees, and ground up the branches. The only issue I had with the company concerned their reseeding a small area where the loader had torn up the grass which was suppose to have been done the next day. When we received the invoice the day after removal we called and said we would pay the invoice when the seeding was finished. After some negotiations we agreed to a partial payment. A person came a couple of days later and put down top soil, seed and straw. The next day after we verified the work had been done we paid the rest. While the owner was a little pushy - it worked out fine for us and we were pleased with the work. One of my neighbors had them out to remove a tree from his yard the next week after watching them do our work.

Did a great job with the tree, providing a high degree of safety to the workmen and surrounding houses, and even got up on neighbor's roof (with permission) to blow off the sawdust. I had asked them to save me some firewood logs of a certain size, which they did exactly as asked. Two weeks later, on schedule, the stump grinder came back to do that work. What is significant is that 3 months later, our landscaper moved the mountain of grindings over to another area, and we noticed that a small part of the trunk, at the edge, was not ground. This is quite an honest mistake, since the massive grindings had buried the site under a couple of feet of wood chips, making it really hard to detect. We called UnLIMBited and the foreman came out a few days later to check it out, and without any hassle said he'd have the stump grinder come back and finish it off. Not only did the stump grinder come back and do it, but he levelled off that area nicely. He also, un-asked, did some remediation where the final 18' of the Oak had been felled in the Winter, levelling off the soil and planting some grass seeds and covering with hay. The one and only thing in the whole experience that I would have changed, is that the truck taking away the tree trunk pieces in the Winter left some ruts in the lawn, as it was so heavy and the ground wasn't frozen. I fixed that area of the lawn in the Spring. I have seen some tree services use wood planks or plywood sheets to park on top of, to avoid lawn damage from the trucks, and that is an idea they may want to use when conditions warrant it.

I called Thursday for an estimate. They arrived the next day gave estimate and scheduled work for the following Tuesday (Monday was a holiday). They were very prompt, professional and on time. They arrived on Tuesday on time, worked around the yard cleaning after themselves. It rained while they were there and they paused for the rain and continued working. They took all precautions taking the dead tree down and did a great job trimming dead limbs and raising the canopy of the oak trees. The yard looks brighter and well groomed. Overall I'm very happy with their service. They still need to return and grind the stump which they have told me may take two weeks. Their prices were slightly higher than competitors but responsiveness and professionalism was well worth the price!

Unlimbited Tree Service removed a very large tree, including grinding of an oversized stump. The primary reason for the tree removal was because the stump had grown so large it was causing problems with stormwater runoff. Unlimbited did a thorough job, that took care of the problem the tree had created. I have used Unlimbited several times before and have been satisfied with the work.

They had the highest price. They were easily $200 higher than anyone else. They did have a 20% off discount but even with the 20% off, they were still out of the ballpark for price. They were responsive.

I asked the company to provide an estimate to remove a large pine tree in my front yard. They were quick to respond and gave me an estimate as requested, leaving a written proposal in my door, since I was not at home. Three days later, since I did not respond to the initial offer, one of their representative showed up at my front door, offering me a and quot;20% discountand quot; coupon. I guess he didn't realize someone else had stopped by previously because he quoted me a different pricing for the second estimate. He overinflated the original estimate, gave me a and quot;20% discountand quot;, and the resulting price was still $100 over what their first estimate was. Because of the high-pressure tactics, the inconsistencies with their pricing, and the inflated estimates (150% higher than other offers), I choose to go with another company.

Outstanding job. Friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive sales rep. Performed the work within three days of the quote. Provided FAIR pricing. I will gladly recommend UNLIMBITED and will use this their excellent service in the future. FIVE STARS!

It was a busy season wIth all the storms we had. We had only expected an estimate but they were in the neighborhood and offered to take care of it that day for a discount. It was the best price we got. They were very quick. The ground was a little moist so the equipment did a little damage, but less than I was expecting. From what I saw on the reviews they would have come and fixed it if I had complained. It wasn't enough to complain about, though. My husband dealt with them directly, and he was fine with them. he dIdn't have all the money for them then, since it was unexpected, so they worked with him and billed us the balance. Will definitely hire them again next time I need this kind of service. I like that they work so quickly!

Unlimbited Tree Service approached us one day on our southeasterly neighbor's behalf, to ask our permission to remove a large silver maple tree that overhung his building's roof. The neighbor offered to pay for the removal if we agreed, as the tree stood on our property. We agreed to the removal. They needed to get back to our neighbor first and could not tell us right away when this removal would happen. But first my husband then showed them the dead tree on the northwestly side of our yard, a young elm that had died after reaching a fair height, higher than our rooftop. They gave us an immediate estimate of $750, to which we readily agreed, having had similar removals in the past (small yard, lots of trees in various stages of growth and health). Unlimbited promised to appear the next morning for this job, which they performed as scheduled, quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up the area very neatly afterward, trucking away all the debris. My husband paid them with a check. Later that day, we had a social engagement for the evening. On our way out the door, we saw Unlimbited's crew setting up to remove the silver maple; we were not notified when they would appear, I guess because we weren't paying for this removal. They asked if they could bring heavy equipment to remove the tree's trunk and limbs and we agreed. It was dark when we returned. The next day we saw deep and wide wheel-ruts in the front of the yard and several stray broken branches that lay on the grass near the site of the tree. We were dismayed by the rut and cleared away the broken branches ourselves. On the bright side, they did fill in a nearby sinkhole with clippings and chips. So we have mixed feelings about how they left our yard. They were very prompt and efficient about the tree removals and cleared up on our dead elm job very well. Perhaps they would have done a tidier job on the maple if we had been able to be at home to witness the proceedings or if it had been performed before nightfall. I think we'd hire them again if we could be present throughout the job.

1) Asked company for an estimate. 2) Next day or so, they were out to give an estimate. 3) Since a crew was in the neighborhood, they reduced the price, if I wanted job done today. 4) I did my research on the comany and the price was GREAT, so had them do the project. 5) Tree was down and company gone by the time I got home from work.

Contacted Unlimbited to schedule an estimate. Rather than schedule a time they showed up in my yard and called my cell phone. As I was not home, I described the work I wanted done over the phone to the estimator. He called back with a price that was good only if they work could be done that week -- I should have seen that as a red flag. We agreed to a price and I asked for a written proposal which I received that evening. I called the next morning to schedule a specific day for the work and ask for a change to the proposal. However, when I called l was told the crew was in my yard performing the work! We did not have a signed agreement. The work involved removing limbs around several power lines. When I asked if they power needed to be shut off, the estimator said no because and quot;he had just the guy for the joband quot; -- again this should have been a red flag. The work was done reasonably well except taking out the phone line to my neighbor's house.

Nice job. They sent six guys and it was done in no time. I would definitely use again.

The sales representative, Ray, listened to what I wanted done and calculated the cost at $3000. I had a Valpak coupon which knocked the price down some and he said that if I wanted to schedule the work for that day or the following Tuesday (it was Memorial Day weekend) the price would be $2200. I told him I had a couple more companies coming to give me estimates and that I would call him after they had gone. He called me back approx. 15 minutes after leaving and told me that a job in my area had been cancelled and he wanted to keep his guys working so if I had the job done that day, it would be $1500. I agreed to the price and, with my permission, he sent the crew while I was out running errands. I was gone perhaps 3 hours and when I returned all the trees had been removed. The stump grinder came the following Tuesday. I gave them a B for punctuality because my appt. was scheduled between 9-11 and when I hadn't heard from anyone by 10:45 I called and the receptionist told me that she had tried to call and let me know the representative was going to be late but they had my incorrect contact information.

My wife handled all the administrative work on this project. My mother-in-law's neighbor had a huge tree that was over 50 years old removed from her back yard. When my wife asked my mother in-in-law about the removal, my mother-in-law said that the tree removal company came and removed everything in about half a day. That tree was so huge, my wife was impressed and thought she would get a quote from UnLimbited Tree Served to remove (4) large evergreen trees from our backyard. Christian from UnLimbed Tree came out and gave my wife a quote. She was very impressed that within the same working day, she received a detailed quote via email which included the following attachments: 1) certificate of insurance for the company 2) document from the State of Maryland Department of Natural Resources indicating that UnLimbeted Tree Service is a Licensed Tree Expert. She scheduled the work, and the workers arrived exactly at the time the work was scheduled to be completed. They completed the job quickly and carefully being careful not to damage our existing fence and large garden near the evergreens. Although we have not had a lot of rain in Baltimore County this spring, Murphy's Law had it that it did rain (sometimes heavily) on the date of the tree removal. The workers worked diligently through the rain with a positive attitude and never complained. The workers took care to clean everything up over and above my wife's expectations. Later in the week, another employee came with the equipment to grind the stumps. Again, he was professional and efficent working in 97 degree heat without a complaint. My wife had all the interactions with UnLimbited Tree Service, and she was extremely pleased with every phase of the project. She highly recommends this company for tree removal.

They were good. They came in and took it down and nothing ever touched the house or shed. Everyone else was more expensive and he was able to get it done very cheaply.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE....SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR REFERENCES OR GONE WITH A MORE REPUTABLE COMPANY

THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL TO REMOVE THE PARTS THAT WERE DEAD IN ORDER TO HELP PROTECT MY HOME. I FEEL THAT THEIR WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THE PRICE WAS A VERY FAIR PRICE.
