Sila

I have used Sila twice now. First time, AC was not working because wire had been disconnected from outside compressor unit. They looked at the system and were able to diagnose why the system was not powering on 100%, fixed it, and added additional line so hopefully it won't happen again. At no extra cost. Second time, and just a week later, I noticed the condensate line began to quickly drip. It was clogged. They came out same day and quickly unclogged the line. The service charge has been very reasonable especially given the same day service. Prompt, knowledgeable techs. I will definitely continue to use this company when they provide this level of service and reasonable rates. Highly recommended.

Came out, inspected inside unit. Inspected outside unit, found that breaker was tripped outside. Reset breaker, cleaned out outside unit and replaced filter on inside.

Scheduling the service was quick, friendly and efficient. Somebody called the morning of the appointment to tell me that the technician was running slightly ahead of schedule and asked if it was OK to arrive early. Of course, that was fine. The technician arrived as expected and introduced himself and described what he was going to do. I had no questions, so he went about his business. He was friendly and professional. There were no surprises and nothing special that required attentiion, so we finished up with the paperwork and he left.

Very professional and competent. Servicer performed the work promptly and shared his finding afterwards. No hard sell of additional services. I'd definitely use again. Highly recommended.

The installation went very well. The installers were very professional and left no mess whatsoever. The unit works great. I thought the price of the electrical work was on the high end. Sila sales rep made it clear that I could get someone else to perform the electrical work. To avoid the hassle of coordination, I elected to have all the work done by Sila Heating and Air Conditioning. They were able to run the wire in the attic, and it was a little tricky getting it to the soffit on the roof eaves. The electric wire and line-set pipes were concealed inside a piece of aluminum downspout.

Very well. John Trancucci of SILA came to our house and inspected the Sun Room where we needed the additional heating and cooling. He was very polite and professional but had to tell us that due to the design of our house the offered unit could not be installed. There is insufficient room for the installation. He did offer to try to find another solution for our problem, but he didn't have any immediate suggestions. Altogether, a very knowledgeable and helpful individual.

They tested out my electrical panels. They did find that I needed an additional panel but I wasn't able to purchase one at this time. They did a really good job but unfortunately I was not able to go forward with the service at this time. I would consider using them in the future.

The technician was very thorough in his inspection of my 18-year old furnace and even found a defect in the heat exchanger that could have led to big problems down the road. The technician was very knowledgeable.

They were professional, arrived on time and I would use the company again.

They came out and did the inspection; I bought a comprehensive insurance policy in case anything goes wrong with the A/C or furnace in the future. They called us a couple of times, once because the repairman was sick once because of the weather. I was pleased they were reachable and attentive. I?m sure if something goes wrong they can call them out quickly because they are close to resolve the problem.

They were courteous, professional, and did an excellent job. He explained things thoroughly. I will be using them again!

Purchased the $79 tune-up. It went well with the technician arriving on time. He cleaned the unit and found that it wasn't cooling properly. He suggested I have BGE remove the Peak Rewards box. I scheduled a follow-up appointment at no charge and had BGE take care of the box. The technician from Sila came back and finished the tune-up. He then found that BGE switch an electrical line inside the unit. He switched it back and the unit worked great. We will probably use Sila each season.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was great. I was not there when he did it, but he came upstairs and told me it was fine. There were no cracks in the system. He was efficient, nice and friendly. It took 10 or 15 minutes for the inspection.

I got big for the 22-point inspection and cleaning on my furnace back in Oct, and everything went great. On time, professional and did a much needed clean. I will use again. There A rating is well deserved.

Oscar arrived promptly & explained everything. He performed a thorough inspection & cleaning of my 13 year old boiler AND put everything he did in plain writing that I can read and understand. This is a first for me in 28 years of home ownership! He was also kind enough to caution me about getting a CO2 detector.

I bought two deals from them and I only used one because they were not really helpful. They came in and found out that there was leak in the Freon and they refused to do it. They didn't do anything because they said that they cannot charge the Freon if there was a leak. I would never use them again. They were hard to schedule an appointment.

Woeker check out the unit and discovered that a part on the outside was not working, but did not put in the freezone as was indicated on the Angie's list. Cost was more that I expected. Worker was very polite and knowledgeable.

The technician was very professional, conducted his checks, and also checked the small a/c heat unit in the sunroom. There was an extra charge for the smaller unit.
