Michael George works for other companies and does work himself as MG Painting. He and an assistant painted our family room while working for another company. He knew I was thinking about having more painting done, so he contacted me after he quit working with that company and said he was going to continue painting on his own. He came to the house a week later and gave me an estimate for the job. We asked for the same good paint as was used in the family room. We agreed and set a date for the next week to paint. He didn't show up or call! I called him repeatedly and when he finally answered he said he had been sick. We set another date for the following week. He showed up with an assistant and prepared to paint. I asked them to be expecially careful to cover everything and not to get paint on the furniture, hardwood flooring, oriental carpets, or trim. They put out dropcloths and started painting. By the time they finished it was early evening and starting to get dark. I looked things over and pointed out some things to touch up but we didn't see everything at that time. We paid him and he said to call him the next day and he would look at his schedule so he could return to do the touch up. I called him and told him everything I had found that needed to be taken care of. The paint on one wall in the dining room had completely cracked as it dried?!? There was paint splatter on the wood flooring, the baseboards, a paint drip on the trim, on one curtain and two paint drips on the oriental rug. He came several days later and looked at it. He said repeatedly that the paint cracking was not his fault and we told him we didn't think it was his fault, we just wanted it fixed. He said he would go to the home improvement store and pick up a gallon of primer/sealer for the cracked wall and be right back. We never saw him again!!! When we opened the paint we also found that he had watered it down so much there were bubbles in it. We were so upset and didn't want anyone else in the house, so my husband and I did all the cleanup and repainting ourselves. He is currently working for himself as MG Painting as well as another company (Whata Blast Powerwashing and Painting). DO NOT LET THIS PERSON INTO YOUR HOME TO DO ANY WORK!!!
Description of Work: Michael George painted the ceiling and walls of my Living Room and Dining Room poorly and left the job unfinished!!!
