It went well. The team laid out a max before entering my home, wore shoe covers, and politely answered all my questions and concerns.They worked in a timely fashion and finished well before I thought they would.

The inspection and tuneup went well. Mr. Charlie, the technician assured me that the systems would now work even better to cool my home. He was correct. Mr. Charlie arrived on time, did his job effectively, and was very professional.

They were pretty responsible; I remember being very pleased with that. I remember the service was competitively priced with what we were looking at for air conditioning and heating. I also remember they understood we did not want top of the line and we did not want bottom of the line so they took the time to explain with us what were the benefits and cons of the middle of the road. They gave us the information we wanted which was really nice; that made it easier. I remember there was something they had to come back and re-fix because it was not installed quite perfectly. They came back quickly.

I decided to use a provider outside of American Home Shield (AHS) and get a better longer lasting unit than AHS would allow this contractor to provide under their contract. This is not the fault of the contractor but a constraint from the AHS contract.

The company that installed my HVAC unit was incompetent. Mike Fick from MaxAir came out and was the ultimate professional. Smart, knowledgeable, and thorough. He fixed what was a one-year old system and prevented it from being ruined. Without Mike's help we would have been almost $10,000!

The contractor promised to locate the issue. Did not even try to sniff the leak. Just filled up with cooling agent and left. The problem came back in two months.

I see we came out to your home under your contract with American Home Shield, the thing with AHS is we cant do a leak check unless its over 4 lbs low on freon or we have been out and adjusted your freon already in a 1 year period. Its frustrating we know , we totally understand that and the tech should have explained that to you as well. Thank you for your feedback again and thank you for your business."

I highly recommend MaxAir Heating and AC Service for all new installations, as well as diagnosing any problems or repair issues. They are honest and will treat you right! Next time I need a system, I will only have MaxAir as my HVAC contractor, instead of trying to save a few dollars by using and unknown contractor.
