I contacted Home Advisors and heard from 3 companies. I needed a repair. I was told that I needed a new roof by 2 other contractors. Russell from House Transformers looked at roof and wrote up an estimate for a repair for $750. When the workers came out I was told I needed a new roof. I asked for an estimate and they completed the repair. Russell gave me an estimate that was cheaper than the other two contractors and forgave the balance of the repair of $503. 00. The roof has a lifetime warranty on the product and the work performed. From what I can tell the work was performed well and the clean up was very thorough.

Good service, quality work, fair prices, always late to start but finished on time. Will submitted a quote that was lower than his professional competition. I did get lower quotes from people that do this on the side and decided to go with pros. They completed quality work on schedule except for a weather (snow) delay of two days that was not their fault. My only real issue was nothing was ever started on time. I would still work with them again because they prices and quality of work was good but I would expect them to always show up late. Bottom line was work was still completed on time. They did do good work. Also noted that because they were cheap I expected change control to be out of this world and find additional problems. There was no additional costs even though they did find a few things they had to do that was over and above and could have charged me for. That is fair treatment.

I had a very positive experience with House Transformers from start to finish. The salesman was very helpful with the process. I got a good price and am very happy with their work. I am completely satisfied and plan to use this company for future projects.

The project lead came out to provide an estimate on the same day as my initial request on Home Advisor. He was on time and clearly explained the options for new gutters and downspouts. The installation crew was very professional and cleaned up afterwards. Very pleased and would use House Transformers for future projects.

Mike the salesman said we need to replace our main roof (we have three roofs) since it was leaking and he gave us a good price, He did not try to sell us on replacing the other roofs since there was no indication of any leaking. The original roof was about 5 years old and was a DIY from the previous owner and so the workmanship was inconsistent. A key selling point was the underlayment, they used a Kevlar based material instead of felt paper. Mike told us it did a better job of sealing around the roofing nail than felt. The roofers did the job when we were working and they left a small portion incomplete in the back so we can see what material they were using. The job 14 square was mostly done in a day and they did replace some of the decking, part of the cost. The roof looks great and the clean up was good cannot tell we did some construction around the house. I therefore recommend House Transformer as a reliable, reputable roofer with an honest price.

They have great customer service and they even fixed the leak in my roof the same day they gave me their estimate. Plus if the leak comes back they guarantee their work for a year at no charge to me.

Matthew came out the same day. Went on the roof, took pictures so I could see, explained everything that needed to be done to me and quoted me what I consider a fair price. The workers were supposed to start the next morning at 8 am. at 10:30 I called Matthew and when he didn't return my call, I called the office. The lady that answered, called me back within 5 minutes and told me, previous jobs had to be completed due to bad weather and they would be here around 2 pm. They arrived appx 3 pm worked until 6ish and left without saying a word to me without completing the job. I called the company again to ask what was going on. The next day they came back and finished. When they were done, they cleaned up and told me they were leaving. The foreman was not informed that I had paid in full. No one from the company ever returned my phone calls. I am pleased with the work that was done, but feel some work is needed in customer service. They may know what is going on, but as the homeowner, I was in the dark. I would recommend this company for work to be done. If you have questions, don't count on a return call from your sales rep or the company.

Big job replacing entire shingle roof. Work was done well. They moved patio furniture and took real care not to damage any property and stayed on top of clean up of old roof. Sales person was detail on work needed and gave full range of options and explained in detail each one. Work was scheduled and done on time. The team had materials delivered quickly, arrived as scheduled, worked hard, were polite and respectful. Applied all materials as per agreement. Took care to protect house and property from damage. They ran a little short of materials but those were supplied asap and job was completed in one day. The roof looks great. They took care to clean up everything. My shrubs are still going to bloom in perfect spring beauty. They also popped a piece of siding back in for me. I am 😌 pleased with the project outcome.

The workers were hard working and very courteous. Not only did they replace my roof, they replaced my gutters with the best of shredder gutter guards that I have ever seen. If you are not completely happy when work is completed, just let them know. To them the job is not complete until you are completely happy. They value you as a customer.

These seem to be outstanding people who insist on doing a good job. Even to the point of redoing what I was ready to accept. They even went to the extent of cleaning up a mess left by a person I hired thru Thumbtack who did more damage than repair.
