They did a good job packing up everything including wrapping it. They did as asked and did not bring out a large truck that would not fit in the driveway. They didn't tack on any charges at the end of the trip and they gave us a 10% discount for paying with cash.

This was a great moving experience for us - the workers were extremely courteous and pleasant, did a wonderful job of moving our furnishings (including a baby grand piano), and did so with the same care that we would have done ourselves.  We could not have been more pleased with this service and company, and definitely recommend them.

I got three estimates and they were the lowest. We picked them because the president of the company came out to do the estimate himself, and just the way they handled things was very well done. They don't miss details. They knocked a minor hole in the door and they were very prompt in wanting to reimburse us for that. We have been here less than a week and they want to make sure everything is right. Everything was done very professionally and on time, very quickly. The price did not include packing, we did the packing ourselves.

They were very thorough, efficient, clean and on time. I felt they were reasonably priced and was pleased with them.

We were told that the movers would arrive between 8 and 10 am to load the truck.  They surprised us when they arrived 45 minutes early.  Three pleasant men loaded the truck in about an hour.  They arrived on time in Boston a few days later.  Everything arrived and nothing was damaged.  A good experience overall. 

I was given excellent customer service on the telephone and via email, and although I thought it was a bit pricey ($516.00 to move a one bedroom apartment 20 miles) I was given a 10% discount for using Angies List and another 10% for paying cash. However, the day of service everything changed. The movers were **4 hours late** with no phone call. I called them when they were an hour late, and they claimed they would be arriving in another hour. Long story short, they were 4 hours late total. They did not have the courtesy to call me to let me know that they were running behind, I had to keep calling them to readjust my schedule. When they arrived, I was given no apology for being so late or their failure to call me. They were slow, and careless with my belongings. My friend wound up helping them move my things because they were moving so slow and he did not trust them to carry the fragile boxes. It seems that the problem is really with the movers themselves. I had a wonderful experience with the management. On the day of service after everything occured, the management agreed to drop my price to a flat rate of $350.00 and sent an additional mover at no extra cost. The price wound up being great, but the movers themselves were rude, inappropriate, and disrespectful.ur

The team of 3 arrived on time, very carefully packed all of my household goods and put them in storage.  This included moving a piano down two flights of stairs.  They were pleasant and courteous.  The packing took longer than anticipated but they packed everything very carefully and took care not to bang up walls even when carrying heavy furniture down 2 flights of stairs.  My goods were kept in storage at their warehouse and were delivered one month later.  (No charge for one month's storage.) The delivery took place on time, once again the team was pleasant and responsive.  Everything was delivered in excellent condition, nothing broken or damaged. The charges ended up exceeding the estimate but I asked them to do extra work, so no complaint.

I could not have asked for better movers! They were on time, polite, and professional. They were absolutely fantastic! I would recommend them to anybody!

They were great. The owner was really responsive and quick to give us a quote. The crew was very careful with our belongings, polite & professional. We plan on using them again very soon for another move.

We used 1st Class Moving after a friend-of-a-friend used them and said they had a good experience. These guys (led by Oscar) were incredible. They showed up on time and got right to work. Not a scratch on any of my walls or on any of my furniture. Anything they took apart (bed frames, crib, futon) they put back together expertly. I could not believe how quick and efficient they got the truck unpacked and furniture put where I directed them. Price came in less that what I was expecting. Excellent crew, excellent work and I would definitely recommend.

It went horribly from start to finish. I had used this company previously to move my furniture without issue. They gave me a price quote for the hot tub over the phone. Since I did not have an alternative choice to move it, I picked them again. I described the setup to the best of my ability. When they arrived, they decided that there were steps on the ground level deck which would cost extra. I agreed to pay the extra fee. From the beginning, they had the wrong type of truck and equipment to move the hot tub. They used an ordinary moving truck with a ramp and tried to roll it up and down the ramp. When they got to the second location (my house), they lost control of the hot tub and dropped it. Their movers then got in a fist fight and called the police. A few minutes later, I had the police on my doorstep requesting a statement, and an ambulance in my driveway. Once they finally got the hot tub into the backyard, it was apparent that it was broken. I called the manager, who came to look at it. He assured me that the company would fix it to an operable condition and wrote this into the contract. However, he asked me to sign an insurance agreement, which I should never have done. He did have some companies come out and assess the damage, but they were not hot tub companies. The one person from whom we got a card was an unlicensed plumber. We asked repeatedly to have a hot tub company assess the damage and do the work. We finally paid to get a repair assessment ourselves. We made a deal for part of the overall repair cost. Throughout the process, the manager threatened to turn the case over to their insurance company, if we did not comply. I found out this meant that we would get a maximum of $50 to repair. This is why he insisted that I sign off on the insurance. In the end, he did send us a check for $150. It was a horrible experience. They misrepresented their ability to move a hot tub. I strongly recommend that you never use this company for any sort of specialty moving. Their only redeeming factor was that they did make some effort to admit guilt and try to compensate. I do think that was honorable of them. This is why I gave them a "D" instead of an "F".

1. Office people were very pleasant and helpful when we told them we had to move in a week's time. 2. Estimator came out the same day to give a free estimate. 3. Movers arrived within the window of time given. 4. Move was completed in about 30 minutes less than estimated. 5. We paid them at the end with our credit card. They had a wireless credit card machine in the truck (very neat). 6. We are living happily ever after in our new home.

I was very pleased. They gave me a very accurate estimate, came when scheduled, and completed the move without breaking anything major. I have moved several times in the last 10 years. This was one of the most professional companies that I have used.

From the estimate which was right on, not a cent over, in fact I think they charged us a bit less than was estimated, to Batina who works at the office where we stopped several times to pick up boxes, to the movers who arrived on time, actually early the day of the move, everything was wonderful. The guys worked for almost 15 hours and never grumbled about the work. In fact they smiled and were pleasant the entire time.
