Referred to me by a neighbor. Knowledgeable sales person, no heavy pressure and very friendly. Gave me what I considered a fair price and I signed without getting any other prices. Installation was prompt and very professional. I was very happy with the entire job.

Frank arrived on time and was very professional (and clean cut!). We discussed the problems with the air cleaner unit and decided the cost to repair the old unit would not be worth the expense. He noticed the humidifier was not working and asked if I wanted it checked out and I agreed. He got that working and from there we discussed problems I had with water leaking around the a/c unit and he checked and found a clogged drainage tube. I got much more out of that visit than I intended and was very impressed at how knowledgeable he was. He took the time to explain everything he was doing. I would not hesitate to recommend their company and will use them for any future a/c related needs.

The heat pump finally began having problems after 20 years. Glenn Hoffacker worked with me to select a new system appropriate for the house and our needs. He gave me some options, and we agreed on a system. A tech came out to measure. They gave me a reminder call. A few days later Hoffacker's installation technicians (4) came to the house on time & did a very professional job. They put down covers to protect the carpet, took away all the old equipment, cleaned up, showed me how to work the new system, and explained the service that comes with it. They had to remove shelving and open up a wall in a closet to get to the system, but did a neat job and put the shelving back. They also uncovered the ductwork dampers which were behind the wall and showed me how to use them. I am extremely pleased. Total cost was as exactly as quoted, $5,485. The new system is energy efficient and fabulous! This company also put a blower motor in the old furnace a several years ago. They are top notch!

Very well. The technician inspected everything and cleaned the systems. He also told me what to watch for and taught me a bit more about my system, since I was not too familiar (moved into the house 2 weeks prior). He found a problem with the heat exchange and I have scheduled an appointment for them to come back and fix it.

About 4 men spent most of one day doing the job. They showed up on time, were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They got the job done with no problems. They were very fair in their pricing. They were going to throw in a free high-tech thermostat as a freebie since I was buying multiple items from them, but when they found that the thermostat wouldn't be able to be installed in my house, they instead gave me a very nice discount off of the total price without my asking for one. I have used this company for a few years and have always been impressed with their professionalism, reliability, and fairness. They do not give slick sales pitches like other companies I have dealt with or try to use gimmicks. They just seem very straightforward and trustworthy.

They are a small neighborhood company that has been in business for about 30 years. They are very professional and honest. I have a 10 year warranty on the unit I purchased. The price was fair and I am very happy with the service he provided.

The job went well. The service technician arrived during the scheduled time. He was polite and informative. He explained that the unit was old and might need to be replaced within a year or so and that this service/repair should be considered a temporary solution. I do want to note that I rated the company as "fair" under the price category because due to the nature of the problem, I did not have time to diagnose and get comparative cost estimates from other companies to do the repair. Therefore, because I got the service requested and under the original estimate I am rating them as "fair." I cannot address the issue of whether or not their prices are comparable to others.

This company lives up to its reputation. I don't know how, but they've managed to maintain the feel of a small-town company with personalized attention from a friendly, knowledgeable staff (in the office and in the field). Each time I called, all of my questions and concerns were answered, and then some. Never did I feel as though they had to move on to other pressing matters (even during the 95+F heat wave). The installation of our HVAC appliance went smooth. They even removed the humidifier system (a two hour install) at no-charge when it was causing too much air to escape an already pressure-challenged system. A special thanks to the sales and office personnel (Glenn, Lou, Virginia and Don) and to the field technicians (Craig, Eric, Clint and Harry). Keep up the good work!

Technician said freon replacement would be $500-$600 dollars and that search for the freon leak would be approximately $500-$600 as well. It also would involve the use of special equipment to find the leak. Another AC company came, found the leak immediately, fixed it, refilled the freon and charged a total of $318.00. I had used Hoffacker for many years and will never call them again. I was very disappointed.

Very well. Showed up on time, courteous and professional. The ignitor gave out within a week. They showed up in a timely manner and replaced it again with no hassle.

They were available even though it was during a heat wave. They arrived as scheduled, explained options, and performed the work quickly. Nice people to work with. A satisfying overall experience.

From start to finish, we were very pleased with the professionalism of the company. I called them on a Saturday morning and they fit us into their schedule that day, so that they could look at the problem and give us an estimate. Their estimate came in almost $2,000 below that of the company with which we had had a service contract for years. They arrived on time on Tuesday morning to do the work, completing it in about four hours, took away every bit of the old unit, cleaned up, and even went around the house to make sure all the windows were closed before leaving the unit running. I was really happy with them, and will definitely recommend them to all my friends.

OUR A/C BROKE AND THEY QUICKLY CAME AND REPLACED IT WITH A NEW ONE. VERY POLITE AND RESPONSIVE.
