I would say they did pretty good, I've been pretty happy with them. I think their price is pretty competitive considering the work they did. So far it seems to be pretty good. They were very responsive. They were on time.

After they washed the deck, it looked almost new. A week later, they return to stain the deck. Everything looks very nice and I was pleased with their work. The yard around the deck was really muddy after the deck was washed so they must have used a lot of water.

Great! They were responsive, and arrived on time for the estimate. He walked me through their process and how he obtained the price. They were able to do the first step of cleaning a week later, but the staining took a little longer due to weather delays. They were in and out quickly and moved things out of the way for us. Deck looks great!

The project manager came to assess our deck and was able to provide a few options on how to revive an aging deck. A crew came out to clean and pressure wash the deck. Unfortunately when the time came to finish the deck, it rained. Jose came out to assess whether the deck could be stained, but Jose informed me that the wood was too wet. He delayed staining the deck to let the wood dry out, so the wood would absorb the stain. I appreciated that Jose recognized that the conditions were not optimal to finish the job, and delayed the project. He refused to do a sub par job. A few days later Jose brought his crew, and got to work, first sanding the deck, seating the deck nails, and securing any loose boards. Once that was finished, the crew stained the deck. Our deck looked better than it has since I have owned the house. These guys are real professionals, that take pride in their work. I will be hiring them in a few years to maintain the deck.

David, the project manager came out and assessed the situation. Everything he looked at and taped off (as a marking of work needing to be done), were exactly what I felt needed to be done as well (e.g. there was no over-selling or up-selling by David). David suggested that the stairwell be secured by adding another post and cementing it into the ground. They replaced 14 boards, which were measured/cut//inserted perfectly. Next step on a different day was a low pressure power wash to clean and remove old stain. Final step on different day was sealing the deck. The sealing job did not turn out well and may have been rushed by the team. It looked pretty awful and started crack and peel just after 2 weeks. I called the office to let David know and he came over to assess the work. It was great talking to David, in that he saw exactly what I saw... and felt the same way... it did not look professional and wasn't up to par. David brought a team back to sand all the boards (both new and old) and reseal them. Now the job turned out as beautiful as I had originally hoped for. I've got to say, that Deckmaster is a company that I would highly recommend. A sign of a good company is not only that they have the know-how to perform the work, but, that in the event that something goes wrong, that they are willing to stand behind their work. Deckmaster (David) is very attentive to customer satisfaction and quality. They have business ethics and were reasonable to deal with (as was I). The office staff were always pleasant, kept me abreast of dates that the crews were to show up, and the crews showed up right on time. David was great to work with and as a representative of the company is definitely in the right role! Very satisfied customer. Thanks Deckmaster!!

I called, they scheduled a window between 12-2. after 2 p.m. they called to say they could not make it. I pointed out that they should have let me know ahead of time and they said it was "complicated." that is no way to run a business.

my deck is lousy. he used the paint that i never wanted. as a whole my deck was rougher than before. i am very displeased. 6 windows that were dirtied because of their work and they never cleaned it. the paint was uneven. there were darker parts and some lighter. they came for an estimate at 09/03 they came out to clean on 09/15 and again on 09/24. I called them three times and they kept saying it depends o n the weather. I was promised a refund but I never heard from them. UPDATE: The project manager, David Loghin, was aware of the rating I gave them on this review initially. He asked how he can make me happy. They decided they were going to redo the whole deck which they did without charge, it was at their expense. They came in a timely fashion, did good work and I was very pleased with it. They were very courteous and did a great job.

Deck Masters did an outstanding cleaning and handling of the furniture. They were the only company to pre-treat the deck BEFORE POWER WASHING. My wife is a very exacting executive and she was here while they worked. Halfway through the process she exclaimed said "I like the way they work". The icing on the cake was the price which was considerably less than the others. As a Board Director here at the Preserve at Smalls Nursery, I will confidently recommend this company

Went very well. Agents arrived on time and completed most of the work in 1 day. Second day staff was only there for a few hours to finalize everything. When I noticed a few issues, staff came back the next day and repaired the issue immediatly without asking. Great company and will work with them again to restore another deck in the future.

Jose was really helpful with ideas and design. We just wanted a deck and the project grew with fun ideas. We added the pergola and elegant fireplace. He came to the house and was always available to talk about the project. He kept us on our budget. His team were nice and cleaned after they left. They work till they are done. They finished right on time as promised. I would use again for sure and recommend them highly!

Jose and his team got started the same week with County permits and all. That was impressive. What was most impressive was the kind of work that was performed and the detailed finishing!
