Description of Work: Pianocraft provided piano tuning services. They came more quickly than originally suggested (first said nothing till January, then found a time in late December). Fair price, quality tuning, timely arrival - all in all, very satisfied and will use them again in six months.

Description of Work: After several years of neglect, my piano needed not only tuning but also other adjustments. When I was called to set up the appointment (only hours after requesting on line), I was told that this may be necessary, so no surprises. The technician was friendly and professional, completing the job in a very reasonable amount of time. Smooth, efficient process overall. And the piano sounds wonderful!

Description of Work: The technician came right on time and spent the normal amount of time tuning my piano. The piano sounded much better afterward although it sounds out again just a few months later. Not sure if that's the piano or the tuning. I didn't feel like my questions about my humidifier system were answered and I felt the price was a little high for a normal tuning.

Description of Work: Great analysis of my two pianos and recommended some actions before considering tuning. Tuned one of them and it sounds amazing. Definitely advised not to do work on older piano that would not improve things due to its age.

Description of Work: Tuned piano, removed items like pencils from deep within, so that keys are easy to strike and all the keys sound great. This was the first time the piano had been tuned in at least 7-8 years.

 + -1 moreEMPLOYEE WHO CAME WAS EASYGOING AND CLEARLY A MUSIC LOVER. HE WAS ON TIME AND VERY THOROUGH IN THE TUNING (IT TOOK ABOUT 40 MINUTES). HE INVOLVED ME IN THE PROCESS BY EXPLAINING WHAT HE WAS DOING WHILE TUNING THE PIANO AND I FOUND IT VERY INTERESTING. HE ALSO SUGGESTED A HUMIDIFIER BE PUT IN THE ROOM TO HELP THE WOOD STAY HEALTHY OVER TIME.
Description of Work: STEINWAY BABY GRAND L PIANO TUNED AND VOICED. KEYS WERE ALSO UNSTUCK. ALSO LOOKED OVER THE WHOLE PIANO TO SEE THAT IT WAS AGING WELL AND THAT THE WOOD WAS HOLDING UP.
