Not only are we family owned and operated, the company name is our name. When we provide services for you, we are attaching our personal name to that service. Therefore, we put special attention to each job because our own name is on it. When we say family, we mean family. Our employees are part of that family. Honest, hardworking, always striving to give you the plumbing, heating or cooling service you deserve. Each technician is either in training to reach his or her certification or is already licensed and continuing his education. You can never have over-trained mechanics. Our company is ''just the right size." We are small enough to know your name, but large enough to handle any problem you have. Our company is growing but at our own pace; keeping track of who and where we came from to make sure you get your plumbing, heating and cooling services whenever you need us rather than having to wait for weeks just to schedule an appointment. Description of Work: I was quite surprised when the serviceman told me I had purchased a LIGHT cleaning and that the unit needed to be fully disassembled for a heavy cleaning. I reluctantly agreed. The only disassembly I observed was removing the log set. The burners and firebox were cleaned, the logs were washed off, the grate assembly spray painted, pilot cleaned. It took two guys about an hour. No parts. That seems overly expensive. I appreciate the spray paint but the unstated differences in cleaning levels are frustrating at best. This service should be labeled as preventative maintenance as it seems likely that if there is a problem with the logset, even one involving only cleaning, then a much higher charge will apply.

The Angie’s List coupon is very specific on the type of cleaning that is included. It specifically states that we brush clean logs, blow out the Oxygen Depletions Sensor and clean the glass. The majority of units do not need an extensive cleaning and the simple cleaning included in the coupon is sufficient. The notes from your job are pretty clear that the unit need more than a bush off of the logs. There was a smell being produced by the unit because it was “caked with dust and debris”. The fireplace need all components removed and the pilot assembly, burner tubes and assembly cleaned. When we make this repair, we do paint the system and generally leave you a unit that looks like the day it came from the factory. This is clearly not included in the coupon. All we can do is make 100% clear what is included in the coupon and I think we do that. A coupon check of your system is not going to solve fireplace issues or failures. It’s a tune up, not a repair. This fireplace had a problem of creating a smell because of its condition. We 100% stand behind our work. We are not perfect and when we do make a mistake, we make it right. In this case, we found a unit that was not operating properly because of the condition it was in. We provided the proper repair price up front and even applied the Angie’s List coupon towards the repair. Thank you Michael Wheat

Description of Work: Company changed scheduled date. I had called for replacement of toilet float/shut off device. Plumber who came said he did not have basic parts and would cost more money to get the shut off devise because he did not have one in his truck.

Description of Work: Because their posting said they service parts of Howard County, I called them specifically to ask if they covered where I live before signing up for their special. The woman who answered the phone checked with someone else and said yes. Therefore, I signed up. When I called to schedule, they said they do not cover my area! Their excuse for telling me the opposite a week prior was that not all their staff are trained!! They did put through an immediate refund, but the attitude was you'll get your money back, so who cares. It wasn't so much that they made a mistake that inconvenienced me--that can happen--but that their attitude was so unprofessional. At her request, I gave this review to the Angie's List staff person at the time of the refund, but it was never posted.
