Gaithersburg Mazda

I have used them for a few years now. Their friendly their prompt, courteous the fact that their right next to Costco which is good. I would use them again because I want peace of mind with keeping up with the maintenance with car.

For oil change it was about $65 and the inspection for the state was $85. I trust the dealers versus going to other service providers that are non-dealers. I've had issues with them in the past, whereas the dealers were always very upfront and honest about everything.

I should have walked out and gone to the other dealership and wish I had. I like the vehicle but am very upset with the price I paid for it. Avoid Gaithersburg Mazda. Other dealerships will give you a better deal.

They were very professional and courteous. Work was done promptly. Price was a little higher than others as dealerships tend to be, but it wasn't the price for parts was reasonable and the labor wasn't that much over what you'd expect.

I had a great experience here. I am always reluctant to go to a dealership but given the nature of my car troubles, I didn't really have a choice. My O2 sensor needed replacement and the computer reset in my mazda3. The guys did a fine job and even followed up a few days later by phone call. I like that they have car service so I was able to drop of the car, get a ride home (10 mins away) and get picked up 3 hours later. It was perfect. Will definitely go there again.

I went over every aspect of this service visit after I got the car home. Everything was performed perfectly; exact oil level, tire air pressure, fluids, etc.
There was a long-term problem with a air bag warning light that another area dealer (and quot;Dealer Fand quot;) had failed to repair despite multiple visits over several months.
and quot;Dealer Fand quot; finally replaced the air bag sensor under warranty without any improvement and gave me the car back. Gaithersburg Mazda Service found, cleaned, and fixed a connection at no cost to me and minimal cost to Mazda.

They were sharp and very professional. They pointed out a number of things that we needed to do soon and at a later stage. They were good and gave us very clear feedback on the diagnosis for the car.

No problems at all with the car either time; GB Mazda flashed the PROM on my first visit, which I always appreciate. In and out same day.

An appalling lack of attention to detail on the part of Gaithersburg Mazda's finance group soured this sales experience. Sales Mgr. promised (minor) incentives that were never installed, and kept the notes. Selective memory and evasive responses greeted any question that the rep thought might turn negative. Sales Rep. and Finance Mgr. did not return phone calls or respond to E-mails after the sale. A fantastic car that I will not buy again.

I went there in January to test drive a Mazda5. I made an appointment on the phone since I had a limited time while running errands in Gaithersburg that day. I was assigned a salesperson who rode with me on the test drive. He was knowledgeable and there was NO pressure at all. I told him I was not making a buying decision for at least 6 months. Still looking and the more I wait the more automatic transfers into my new car savings account keep adding up. Thus less money I have to finance through my credit union.

They do good work. They are on time, and the work was done correctly. I had no issues and plan to go back there. They had refurbished their waiting room, which made it more comfortable. It became a bit more of an inviting place to wait while they are working on you car. The quality was great.

We went to trade in our vehicle. The sales woman was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable and no pressure. However, when talking things over with the finance office, and trying to strike a deal, I was not impressed. We felt very pressured into taking a car home for a few days to think about it. And when it came to barginning, the numbers just got switched around for trade in value and vehicle price with no real change in price. If we didn't need to bargin, we would have made the purchase.

I've been going to Gaithersburg Mazda for years - even though I don't have Mazdas anymore. They always are courteous, respectful, and honest. I've gone to independents and other dealers - much of the time, I felt like I wasn't getting the full story. Never the case here - the mechanic even sometimes comes out to talk to me about a problem he sees or a suggestion. I do some work myself, but without a garage (or driveway), I'm pretty limited (plus my knowledge is enough to be dangerous, not enough to actually do it). Sometimes I bring my own parts (modifications / repair / maintenance); sometimes they just get them directly from the Toyota dealer. The new car wash is great, although the (now) narrow driveway seemed crowded last time I was in. My service adviser (Roy Farley) is great; repairs are done in the time frame they estimate, and they don't do more without asking. I don't feel like I'm being up sold or they try to replace something that doesn't need it. In fact, he has talked me out of replacing things that I thought needed it but really didn't (cleaned the brakes instead of replacing pads, lasted another 15,000 miles!). I'll keep on going back.

I have a new car and it needed an oil change as well as a door ding removed. I called for an appointment and arranged to have the car in the shop the day the "ding" specialist was at the dealership. They called the day before to confirm the appointment. I checked their website and found a coupon for filling the tires with nitrogen. I dropped the car off a little early and was greeted quickly and they already had my paperwork ready to go. There was some concern that the ding was more serious than I thought because the paint may have been damaged. Because of the anticipated body work, they thought they would not be able to fill the tires with nitrogen. Those fears turned out to be unfounded and all repairs were completed. I received a call that my car was ready probably an hour before I expected it. When I arrived, the cashier had my car brought around while I paid and much to my surprise they had given it a thorough wash before returning it to me.
