I can't say how it went. The provider never contacted me, so it was more like theft than any kind of business arrangement.

Howard was extremely professional, knowledgable, and experienced. He showed us before and after pictures and answered all of our questions thoroughly.

I wanted to get an attic and roof inspection to make sure there were no issues I should be aware of...I think it's probably a good idea to do this every other year. AHC sent Howard, who I thought did a really good job and seemed to know his stuff...he had been in the industry over 20 years, at that point, you've seen everything. Howard did a thorough inspection, check every bit of our attic and roof, and explaining the different possible issues and providing his opinion on how the builder did (the house was built in '02 by Winchester Homes). Pictures were taken of each check, and then shown to me at the end with a checklist of each item that was inspected. Luckily, we had no major issues, and a couple of minor issues were fixed at no additional cost by Howard. I'm always weary of recommending a company, because at the end of the day the employee that does the work is 75% of the experience. For my first time using AHC, I had a great experience, Howard did an awesome job. Additionally, I believe it was Amanda that handled all of the scheduling. She was very nice, and also was able to reach out to me to let me know of a delay for the technician, as well as when he was actually on the way. Communication was top notch.

They were great. It took a few weeks since I was traveling.

Marc was professional. He took pictures of the area that was affected during his inspection and gave me the details of the repair before he began. In addition, he showed me pictures after he completely the repair.

Great from every aspect. After a storm destroyed my roof I called the company and they sent out Matt two days later. He went over every step of the repair including dealing with the insurance company. Within in two days, a tarp was placed over the damaged area and an appointment with the insurance adjuster was set up. Matt dealt with the insurance company first hand to make sure all repairs needed were included in the payment and went over step by step all my options on either repairing the existing roof or replacing complete roof with upgrade material. Having chosen a complete roof replacement (parts of my roof were 20+ years old and already 2 layers thick) a date was set up for the job. Work was completed in 1 day ( stripping all old shingles, tar paper, repairing the damaged wood) and work area was cleaned of all debris (two weeks later and I have never found 1 nail). My next project I will definitely be hiring this company again.

It was a positive experience from the beginning. The contractor contacted me to schedule an appointment and was able to see me within two weeks. When he arrived, he performed a detailed inspection in the attic and on the roof to locate the cause of the leak. He explained that the leaks could be caused by one of two things. He performed caulking and other minor repairs to help prevent future leaks and explained what I would need to do if the leaking continued. The contractor was very knowledgeable and honest.

American Home Contractors did a great job with their service and installation of a new gutter system on my house. The scheduler contacting me very quickly, and scheduled a meeting with their assessor as quickly as possible. The assessor arrived on the date and time scheduled, and while I only needed the gutter system at the rear of the house inspected, I asked him to assess the front gutter system as well. Some contractors complain when asked to review additional work which was not requested, but he did it without hesitation. He gave me a quote which I considered reasonable, and I agreed to contract out to them for the work. He scheduled the installers ASAP, and again, the installers arrived on the date scheduled, and on time. They did a very professional job, and it went very quickly, and smoothly. Fortunately, they didn't encounter any additional issues while they installed the new system. Once they completed the work, the assessor schedule a date and time to come over and review the work performed. Once we were both satisfied with the work, I then paid for the work. During the first rain after the installation, the gutter system worked very well. The water drained to the areas it was supposed to drain, and none of the new system fell off. Even during the recent heavy winds, the installation held up, and continue to have no issues with the quality of materials, nor the quality of installation work. All in all, the personnel I came in contact with for this job were very professional, and the assessor explained to me all their available gutter systems, and warranties and guarantees included with the installation. Also went over the materials used in the gutter systems, and gave me the proper recommendation for the size of the gutters. He didn't try to sell me a system I didn't need. I will definitely use them again, should my gutters need to be replaced.

Howard Shires was the person who came in for the inspection. He was very professional, punctual and comprehensive. He assessed both of my attics and gave me the recommendation. When he found a problem in my attic he decided to check my roof, sunroof, chimney and gutter. I was grateful to get all the inspection in one. It was also nice of him to help me replace a cap of a chimney vent on the roof. Howard is superb, knowledgable and thorough! I really couldn't ask for better experience and I highly recommend their service. Scheduling was easy- Amanda was great too.

I bought an American Home Contractors BIG DEAL for a New Roof with 3-D Architectural Singles and Lifetime Warranty for $5,499 ( saving 44%). to replace my 38 year old roof. David Silverstein explained the details of building the new roof in terms I could understand. I had to pay extra because my roof was bigger than explained in the deal, and he gave me the same discount on the added work. They accommodated my schedule and were prompt at the arrival time. The workers worked carefully and protected my house from damage. They had to remove two old antennas which they hauled away. It took two days but they had to remove an extremely large piece of fiberglass on the roof and installed plywood in it's place before putting on the roof. They hauled away everything. The cleaned up all the debris on the ground. It was money well spent, and I would use American Home Contractors again without hesitation.

The provider sent an excellent technician, Jeff Waltos, who serviced all the gutters. He was on time and even found an issue I had with a down spout. He was very knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the work done.

Marc was very professional , kind and informative. He did a great tune up for our gutters and walked our whole roof. He informed me of all problems that the gutters and roof had. We had a leak from our gutters that had been there since we bought our house and he fixed it up and informed us of why it happened. Overall a great experience and I would recommend both Americas home contractors and Marc!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about American Home Contractors. I am so pleased with Jeff and the company. Even their scheduling office was exceptional. I had some scheduling issues on my end and (embarrassingly) had to reschedule three times. Amanda was gracious, helped me find another appointment that worked and called to confirm the day before. American Home Contractors was a pleasure to deal with. ?The company representative who initially met with us, Joshua Dunevant, was informative, knowledgeable, and low-pressure. ?Their bid was not the lowest one we received, but was close to the lowest, and when I checked out their windows the quality and energy-efficiency compared favorably to those from both lower- and higher-priced bidders. ?The person who measured and installed the windows was polite, thorough, and neat, as were his team. ?The work was completed in a single day and the results are terrific.

Howard arrived promptly and did a careful inspection. He then cleaned the gutters thoroughly and repaired two sections that were damaged. Howard provided pictures showing the condition of the roof and gutters. He indicated which sections were in good shape, what would need repair in the future and what should be addressed soon. He was knowledgeable and explained things very well, with no sales pressure whatsoever. I am very pleased and will now have them do the roof maintenance as well.

I thought the technician, Marc Burkett, did a very professional job. He explained the issues clearly and even provided before and after photos of areas that required repair, replacement or improvement. He was efficient and polite and easy to talk to.

John called to say he could arrive early if that was OK. Worked out great. I showed him trouble spots i wanted fixed and he got right to it. Gave my Attic an inspection which was given a clean bill of health. Went outside and took care of items we discussed.Spent a few hours on it and then came to get me and explain the work he did. There was no hard sell on other areas of work around the house. John mentioned I could increase insulation in attic but never pushed to sell me more than I had already purchased, which I appreciated. Job well done and i would use American Home Contractors again for any issue around the house.

Jonathan showed up a few minutes early, got right to work and was thorough in the work performed. He took the time to explain work completed and provided recommendations on things we should get addressed moving forward. Would definitely utilize them in the future.

The contractor, Jeff, showed on-time for the scheduled appointment. He came to the door and introduce himself. I then proceeded to show him the the minor damage in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. He then proceeded to the attic to see if water was infiltrating the roof. While in the attic, he check the insulation and took pics of what he found. We was able to locate some wet insulation and determined the water was coming from the ridge vent. Jeff then went onto the roof, inspecting different areas and the gutters. He took pictures of all his findings. Upon coming down from the roof, he showed the picture of several areas of the roof and the unsealed nail in the ridge vent was causing the problem. Jeff just finshed sealing at problem areas. Excellent work with a guarantee.

Mr. Shires was extremely professional and after taking many pictures of the attic space he thoroughly explained the issues and what will need to be done to correct them, documenting all on a full report.

I highly recommend this service. Jeff W was the technician that came to the house to perform the services. He called in advance to confirm the time and was even able to come a little earlier. Jeff was professional, knowledgeable and personable. He showed us before and after pictures of his inspection. There was absolutely no attempt to sell us something we didn't need. He made suggestions on how to maintain the roof and what to think about when it is time for a new one (5+ years). I couldn't ask for a better experience. As a result, we will definitely place a call the next time we need roofing work performed.

The technician arrived promptly for the appointment. He was very professional and methodical. I had some indications of leaks in the roof and showed him the suspected area inside the house. He attempted to inspect the attic space but due to thick insulation covering the attic floor, he could not find any safe passage to the possible damaged area in the attic so he just observe what he could visually. He noticed lots of light coming through ridge vent suspecting some damage due to weather. This was confirmed by exterior inspection - on top of the roof. Upon exterior inspection, the technician had shared some bad news. He explained, with photos, that there were many cracked shingles which maybe the cause of the leak. The worse part was that the shingles appears to be one of those substandard materials made by certain manufacturer that were subjected to a class-action lawsuit. Furthermore, the technician shared with me that the builder of the house made several shortcuts on the roof construction which likely has caused leaks - he explained to be about no drip edge installed and no ice/water shield protection afforded. He seemed genuine, courteous and appears to be very knowledgeable but the bottom line was that I needed a new roof. This is my first dealing with American Home Contractor, Inc. and my experience with them was just fine but I was just hoping for a few spot fix for a leaky roof. I'm considering a second opinion but the shingles do show cracks so I may not have much choice after all.
