"Outstanding !!!!! Thank you for your review. We strive for this everyday ! Enjoy your backsplash and please let us know if we can help in the future! Gayle Petersen"
In the 2nd job, Miguel Apolinar and Ronnie Yanez removed old carpet and put down wood in the hallway and in the study. Miguelprepped the floor by nailing down loose boards, and Ronnie put down felt paper. They both worked as a team placing the boards on the floor. Excellent job.
In the third job, Miguel did a very professional job replacing damaged wood with new wood. Miguel used a fine tool cutting machine to cut like a surgeron and delicately remove old pieces. Ronnie came behind him cutting the wood to fill the open spaces Great job..
All three jobs were done on time and in a professional matter. Simply beautiful work.

"Hey you guys were super to work with and I completely appreciated your understanding the pricing issues ! Glad to hear you like the way the floor turned out ! Happy New Year ! gmp"
I had used them for flooring in the past for Alloc Laminate floors in our kitchen that have held up fantastic over the past 10+yrs.
I wanted to see what brands and current pricing available. I took in measurements for 4 rooms and entryway of approx.
800 sq ft. He was unable to find past purchase in system (too long ago) and updated my info, and made copy of my floor plan/numbers. I mentioned that I also signed up for an estimate through Costco and was told that Petersen's are now approved providers for the Frederick area Costo, We discussed some options and then another customer came in and we agreed
that I would need to talk with someone to arrange a time/appointment for a free in home measurement and discuss the
project further. I was told that Gayle Petersen would follow up with me to make an apt. and to discuss sales and promotions
available. That was over 10 days ago. I called today to inform them that I was disappointed that I had not heard back from
them after being in their store for 45 minutes and I selected another company and have a start date.
I was asked to hold so I could speak with Gayle. She interrupted me several times when all I was trying to do
was tell her I understand that notes get misplaced and mistakes happen, but they lost out on a sale.
I felt like I was doing them a favor by calling to inform them before I left a comment on Angie's List. She was rude and made
me feel like the bad guy!?!
"I did receive the call from [member name removed]. She was extremely upset that we had not gotten back to her. I did let her vent her frustration. She continued to let me know that she was going to write Angie's list & Costco to let them know how terrible we were. I tried to ask her to please let me do some background follow up with my people, search our day history, find out who had worked with her. She got very upset, feeling like I was not listening to her. I tried to let her know that if she was in our system as a Costco contact on 9/28/13 - the salesperson she met in the showroom on 9/29/13 could not quote her as a Petersen's customer. [member name removed] was too irate to listen to me try to explain what I thought happened. I listened to [member name removed] give me advise on customer service for another few minutes, thanked her for her call and then had to get off the phone. Upon further research I was able to see that on 9/28/13 the Costco lead was generated and given to one of our sales team. Our contract with Costco requires that we attempt to contact the member within 24 hours of the lead generation. The sales person responsible for [member name removed] made two attempts to call the phone numbers that were on the lead sheet. On 9/29/13 [member name removed] came into the showroom - by the day sheet I can see that we were very busy with people in the showroom and we were short a man due to illness. The salesperson showed me his day sheet notes regarding [member name removed] visit. After letting the salesperson know that I was disappointed that he hadn't followed up by turning the information over to me to explain how we needed to proceed due to Costco's lead, he acknowledged his error. I do appreciate the feedback from [member name removed]. I had hoped that I could have assisted her with a more positive outcome. Gayle Petersen"
The older gentleman knew what he was doing; it seemed that one of the younger ones made a mistake laying the carpet on the stairs; the older man became very agitated with him, but it appears that he corrected the problem. They were very respectful and nice.
"Thank you for your review. Your business is always appreciated. gpetersen"
the floor after taking up the old carpet, they prepped the floor before
putting down a black moisture proof pad, then they put down the Bruce
floor. It matched exactly my floor in the Hallway. Excellent job from
start to finish.
"Thank you for your review. Your business is always appreciated. gpetersen"
