We previously bought a used Toyota Camry from Krietz and had need of another car, so we went back to see what they had.  We bought another low mileage Camry from them and they were courteous fast and conscientious with the deal.  The car did not have a users manual when it was on the lot and had a damaged speaker grill and was missing a front bumper license plate holder.  Krietz fixed those issues and worked with us and USAA car buying service to get a price below the advertised price.  With free oil changes for life and a comprehensive warranty, it was a pleasant experience.

Awesome experience with this family owned and operated auto sales facility. Was met with friendly sales person and she was familiar with all of the vehicles I was interested in. Charlie processed the loan etc and was extremely helpful, informative and friendly. Excellent transaction and I will be back for service and referrals for friends. Excellent warranty and oil changes for life of vehicle. Great family owned business!!

My daughter had just started a new job and was not allowed to leave her place of work to have her car looked at and repaired. I told the customer service representative, Seth, that it would take me one hour and twenty five minutes to drive to the location where my daughter's car was parked, so I could then drive it into Frederick to Krietz Auto Service (KAS). I received incredible customer service when Seth offered to save me the long drive by having KAS pick up the car and drive it to their shop, fix it, and return the car to my daughter's place of employment.  Then they informed me that there was no charge for the repair!!!
I have never seen such incredible customer service anywhere else before.  I have used KAS on two separate occasions prior to this incident and have always been extremely satisfied with their customer service, the quality of their work and the cleanliness of their facility. The employees there have always been courteous and helpful.  I was always offered a loaner car (which I have never required) and given directions to eating establishments within walking distance of their facility. KAS was recommended to me by another customer when my daughter and I were new to Frederick and looking for an honest mechanic who would not take advantage of the fact that we were women and were unfamiliar with car repair. While waiting for my car on a previous occasion, I noticed how many repeat customers had come in and how everyone seemed to know everyone. It is a good sign that this family owned business has repeat customers who have been frequenting the business for many years.  I am very happy and we will continue using Krietz Auto Service in the future!

The individual I spoke with on the phone was very knowledgeable and seemed to understand exactly what I wanted; however, when I got a call the next day, the technician seemed to just want to fix items beyond the scope of the call. After finally getting him to understand the scope of the work I wanted to be performed, he said he would do the work. I did not receive a call back from the technician stating the work was complete.
All-in-all, the service appears to be over-priced. As an example - $130 for a diagnostic service for a truck manufactured prior to 1980 seems excessive.

As expected per previous experience with this provider; A-ONE! They're happy to make the appointment convenient for us. Accommodating an option to wait in the comfortable lobby, or take me to work etc. Skilled and seemingly concerned techs and staff, honesty and and open to showing me the area of concern BEFORE they begin work. I have been invited to look at the car in the bay while the auto is up, been shown eroded parts as compared to new ones. Always feel confident that when we drive away we have been serviced exactly as promised.

Now, price? We probably could find service less expensive nearby. However, the old adage may apply in this case: "You Get What You Pay For". Good quality, honesty, and nice folks from the front to the back.

Lets not overlook the warranty on repair work 30 months or 30,000 miles. Can you say the same of your hairdresser or doctor? In my opinion... that assurance is priceless!

These guys are crooks. There is no way they could have accidentally mis-diagnosed this problem. They simply escalated the repair job and then got in over their heads.

I have had other experiences with this company and I have always been satisfied with their services. They are straightforward, offer a reasonable price, and they are honest. They are located one block from my home, so they are convenient as well.
