Handyman on Call, LLC

They did some work for me and once it was done, I paid them in full. Now over 45 days later, they are saying I owner another $33.48 for someone undercharged me. They accepted the payment as paid in full at the time. So why now are you coming to me asking for more money. I will not do business with this company again.

Big problem: the section of the ceiling dropped after 1 year. It dropped 2-3 inches, not to floor but I suppose it is only a matter of time. Cause ?? I can only suppose that the tiles were not stapled correctly. My wife is not willing to go back to this company. Before the ceiling dropped we were happy and had the company installed a new floor board under kitchen sink. Good carpenters but he banged the pvc and it cracked. The man repaired but the repair is a sight with a useless dead end t-joint. Otherwise, the men were prompt, friendly, and courteous. Too bad the work was lacking.

Late, broken English, sub-par work, up-sale after dis-mantling toliet, etc.

Larry B. did a fantastic job of designing steps for my front porch. The old ones were too steep and dangerous. Now I feel safe. Mikhail and Valera were on time every day. The put in long, hard days--no clowning, no slacking off. They took very short lunches, if at all. They cleaned up after themselves. They even rolled up my water hose which they had used. I don't even do that! Engineer, Dmitriy, came by as necessary. All of them strove for accuracy and quality workmanship. They were all professional toward me and even toward each other. Worthy mention goes out to Mikhail for his design and artistic expertise. He had to improvise at one point on my front porch railing. He did a stellar job in a very timely manner. Based on the above observations, I am hiring HOC for everything on my bucket list because I totally trust them: Completed--split-rail fence, replaced front porch with new roof. Future--foundation work, vinyl siding, paving, exterior lighting to include lamp posts and backlit house numbers, possibly a flag pole with a light, front door system, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, interior painting, repair, power washing and paint on large back deck, flooring, etc. HOC will make my house a home. My initial intention was to hire separate contractors for each type of job. I got tired of trying to schedule everyone, keep all of the contractors' estimates straight, waiting 1 to 2 hours for some contractors to show up, and a few didn't show up at all. Then I found Handyman On Call. Kevin and Larry B. made a memorable first impression. HOC will also match anybody else's price quotes, I knew immediately that I had made the right decision. What a relief! I was able to relax and allow them to do everything. I have no regrets. My estimator, Larry B. remains very patient with my ever changing mind. I often apologize but he kindly responds: We want to give what you want. Whenever I text him regarding changes or final decisions, he always responds in a timely manner. Kudos also to the office staff. They answer phones quickly and professionally. They keep in contact with me before, during and after a project. I have even received a scheduling call on a Sunday, and Vita Z. called me on a Thursday evening regarding paperwork clarification. Don't they ever stop working? The Owner/President Benjamins Zonis, has even reached out to me on several occasions. I love HOC because I totally trust them to complete work to my satisfaction. A heart felt thank you to everyone at HOC. If you are undecided about choosing HOC, go for it. You will not regret it.

Quick quotes and quick work done. Professional work done without intrusion or trying to sell other services. These are my go to people from now on.

Critical: Quality, Value Paid $1115.00 after being up charged $350.00 for a crack in the basement foundation wall. The owner said he was the only one in the company that handled these types of repairs, so we trusted it would be done correctly. He said the repair from inside the basement would fix the problem and fill any gaps in the outside wall. As he was finishing the repair. I explained to him that water was coming in from the top of the foundation wall. He said because of the design of the exterior wall with the stone siding, it was difficult to determine from the outside where the foundation began. And if we are still having issues, he would come back to fix the issue. Well, water is still coming in from the top of the foundation, and he came out and told my wife it needs to be fixed from the exterior wall. It will cost $389.00.

Seemed a little pricey to remove an existing, and assemble and install a new mailbox, but overall the company was customer focused and friendly; the handy man (Joe) who completed the work arrived at my house when scheduled (on time), was very professional and pleasant and did a good job. Work was completed in a time frame that seemed reasonable. I was very happy and satisfied with the work service performed. Quality job.

Superb technician

Professional,courteous,and affordable. I took off one star because the time was changed for my quote, however, I was not told until I called. Appointment was changed to three hours later. Once the representative arrived he was professional and informative.

Had several projects for which I needed to get a separate quote. Tim was very accommodating and patiently took the time to review each location and project. He supplied detailed quotes and a reasonable price for both jobs. I was able yo get the first completed within the week. I am very satisfied with the work and how quickly everything was completed (same day). Getting ready for the second project to start.

Did a decent job for a great price.

Work was done it took 2days to paint a small bathroom with 3 man,did not clean up after work was done paint on floor and tile and shower door.

We needed a concrete pad to install a shed on and while the person who came out to look at the spot we chose was great and wrote up a great work order, the "pros" who actually installed the concrete were horrible. They told us that WE had to buy fill dirt to install around the pad where the concrete was exposed above the ground. Not long after the pad was installed, it began to crack. When we called the original person who came out to do the estimate, he just put us right back in touch with the people who installed the pad. They said, "we told you to put dirt around it" and didn't offer any other assistance.

The customer service seems slightly disorganized, with the customer rep being unable to tell me if I'd be able to be home or not for the work (eventually I wasn't and it was ok). Also to sign the contract, I was just sent an e-mail with the final contract to sign electronically. I was never told this was the system. But it worked fine. The work was awesome absolutely worth 5 stars, however the price seemed a bit steep. But perhaps really worth it given the quality of work. Absolutely no complaints about the work itself, or the timeliness of the worker who showed up to do it, or anything work related. Just a bit on the high end and some hiccups with the administrative details. Bottom line: Definitely recommend Handyman on Call.

two men came and they did a beautiful job. I was very pleased and would recommend them again to others.
