Bartlett Tree Experts - 31215

It went very well. Kenny McCoy did the work and he was courteous as well as professional. He explained the procedure and also informed us that he was assigned to do our annual contract. We are more than satisfied.

They came out in a timely manner. They will make suggestions on things such as pruning that you can do yourself. They're reasonably priced and broke down the costs of any service that we could use or want. Paul could not have nicer or more helpful. Scheduling was reasonable as well. We will continue to use their services as needed.

It went well. The job was performed on schedule and they did a very good job. There was another bid that was for a little bit of a better price, but this one was more reliable and timely so I went with Bartlet.

They were on time, very professional and we were very happy with the results. They included our opinions in deciding what branches should be cut away. They explained what they were doing and why.

Bartlett was great to deal with. Their pricing was better than the other estimates we received and their estimator was punctual and helpful. They came and did the work without us being home and left nothing behind. Really well-done.

We were told we could wait until the tree blums which is now has. We received the esitmate and are waiting for the weather to clear to schedule them to comence with the work.

Excellent service. I asked for a quote to remove 6 stumps not realizing I actually had 8 to remove. Bartlett gave me a quote for 6 but did me a huge favor and removed the other two stumps for the same price! Bartlett Tree Experts zipped through all 8 in about 1-hour. Very reasonable rates. Fast and friendly service. I didn't even have to be home during the service, which was a huge bonus. Will definitely use Bartlett Tree Experts again.

They were very prompt and courteous in providing me with an estimate for tree removal.

Got the referral from Greenfields Nursery. Called and was given prompt service for both estimate and work. Crew was able to do work without my being present. Invoiced for work by mail, which I paid for by check. There was no waste left at the site. Work was done quickly and efficiently without disturbing any nearby flora.

Then came out when they said they would...they knew all of our trees and how to care for them...they provided a written estimate and they were on time both days when they came to do the work....very professional and cleaned up after themselves and very polite as well....we will use them again for all future tree work.

Bartlett's arrived right on time and took 15-20 minutes to look over the job and to be sure we were all on the same page. Bartlett Identified the Serviceberry as a "champion" tree due to its large size. When the three trees in our front yard (Red Maple, Linden, Serviceberry) were finished we could see the structures of all three clearly for the first time in years. Turns out the Bartlett company employs sculpters! While the men were working on site, we were apprised of what was "going on". All crew members are interested in the job and able to answer questions. If there's a question they can't answer you're referred to someone who can. We have a "Silberlocke" Harmann that one of the guys asked about. He pointed it out to a colleague because it was 'different". As a teacher, I was impressed. Curiosity.indicates that learning is an on-going attitude. Two men from the company stopped by to see if all went well & if we were saisfied. The yard was lookin' good when the crew left. Yes, the company is pricey but their work on our valued trees turned out to be works of art..

Bartlett Tree Experts responded promptly to my request for a price estimate and tentative schedule. I received a written quote detailing the work to be completed and itemized costs for each task. At the same time, I received additional estimates from other companies. My reasoning for not selecting Bartlett came down to price. They were approximately $300 more expensive than the company I chose for the job.

They came on time, did what they said they'd do at the price they said they would.

They were very good. It was a lot of work. They had to get a crane. It was well worth the cost. Even though it looks like it was expensive, it was well worth it.

The work performed by Bartlett exactly matched our written estimate, and at the exact price quoted in our estimate. Workers showed up at the exact date/time that was prearranged. The workers were very professional, and in/out in a matter of a couple of hours. The work was performed close to a picket fence - there was absolutely no damage to the fence. In fact, were it not for the wood left on the ground, you couldn't tell that anyone had been in our back yard that day! Overall great job by Bartlett. Not the cheapest guys around, but to me quality trumps price. I would definitely use them again.

I called the company main office to get an estimate on the work to be performed. Unfortunately based upon my schedule I could not get an estimate after business hours so I had to leave work on my lunch break to meet Bartlett for my estimate. The guys doing the estimate were running and I got a call indicating this which was much appreciated. I explained and showed the guys what I needed done and was given an estimate broken down in a way such that I could pick the work I could have done and that I could afford and then invoice the remaining work at a later date which was very helpful. I decided to go with Bartlett after getting a few more estimates from other companies so I emailed and sent back my estimate indicating that I would like to have the work done. I thought I asked all the questions that I needed to ask as far as payment options and lead time in when they would come out but I guess I should have asked them whether I would be contacted before the work was done because I came back from work one day and the work was done without notice or anything. The work that was done was good for the most part but there were a couple of trees where I thought could have been trimmed higher than what was done, I am not sure if the persons that did the estimate were the ones that performed the work because it would be quite difficult to relay if they were not the individuals I talked to and/or if I wasn't there to relay this information. Overall I would say that it was a positive experience. June 19th - UPDATE: I have since been contacted by Bartlett about coming back to finishing the Job to my satisfaction. The owner scheduled a time, had his crew come back out and did the work to my satisfaction.

They are a little on the pricey side; however, since I am president of our local homeowner's association, we have to go with someone priced a little more reasonable. But, not only is this an excellent company, they are all Arborists, so they are a step above any tree service I have ever used. They get top marks overall from me. They are all professional and are trained Arborists. They are excellent. If I had a unique problem I would use them again in the future.

I had to follow upand check on scheduling after accepting the estimate, but once that was established all went very well. Not the lowest estimate but not the highest either. They felled the tree in a neat, quick and professional (and quite spectacular) manner, using all safety precautions and concern for surrounding objects. They trimmed and neatly stacked some logs for me to keep at my request and cleaned up the entire rest f the debris down to broom sweeping every speck of the sawdust. They trimmed the huge evergreen growing against my deck, keeping everything to scale. The next day they returned and ground the stump, leaving the mulch. The crew members were friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me understand why the tree died. Aside from the sadness of losing the beautiful old tree, they made it a pleasant experience. II would recommend them.

When I called for an estimate, I was told that I didn't need to be present. The estimator would come the end of the week. I would receive the estimate by email. I was OK with that. 1 1/2 weeks went by and I didn't receive the estimate. I called to find out if the estimate was ready. The person on the phone apologized stating there were behind schedule. She made a note for someone to come out as soon as possible. Little did I know they were coming the next morning. The next morning as I am preparing for a meeting, I get an unannounced ring at the door. They were there to provide an estimate. I proceeded to continue my meeting prep, to be disturbed once again. This time the estimator apologized for the interruption. Because my Silver Oak tree is near power lines, Bartlett, can not perform the service.

They always came out when they said they would, always left a list of completed work, and excellent service, overall.

We waited for approximately 2 months, but it was worth the wait. All of the overgrown vines were removed from all of our trees and bushes in the back yard. The bushes were tremendously overgrown and were not trimmed as close as we expected. Mr. Martin sent his crew out again and the bushes were trimmed down exactly as we expected. Great work!

It went fine. My interaction with them was easy. I asked them to drill a hole through a tree so that I could hang a swing and they wanted to charge me $150 to do it. We would have supplied all the equipment when the guy would already be up there cutting the tree down. So I didn?t deal with them, but the gentleman was pleasant. He gave me the quote and he was on time. I wouldn?t use them again.

Company seems to be professional, and would be a great choice, if you're a millionaire.

I changed my mind about trimming the tree and did not re-interview this company because I decided on the spot to remove the tree while interviewing another company.

They did a good job, for what they did, but given how much they charged, I would have liked them to have trimmed the tree back even further than they did. (I wasn't home to supervise the work.) The tree is now away from the house, which was the most important thing, and they raised it so the low-hanging branches are not right above your head like they were before. But it continues to hang above the house, and it will need to be retrimmed in a year, probably, maybe sooner. And they could have raised it a little higher than they did, too. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and did the minimum required in the contract. But it feels like they did the minimum and charged the maximum.
