The installation was very well done and was done quickly. They made sure I was happy with the product before they charged me for the project, which I appreciated. The fence looks great! Better than I thought it would. They were also extremely patient with me changing my mind a million times in the process... !

My husband was impressed with them.  It went well.  We are thinking of giving them a job.  We are going to meet with them next Saturday.  They quoted $2400-$2900.  The guy has been doing this work for 23 years.  He seemed really knowledgeable.  He seemed like he knew what he was doing.  My husband is confident that he would do a good job.

The experience with Freedom Fence Inc was good. I got a return call quickly. They were able to come out the next day. They seemed pretty knowledgeable about the work. The estimate was more than half lower from other companies.

True to their word, when I called to cancel my pending contract, I was treated with the same courteous service.  I let Steve know that my cancellation had nothing to do with having a negative experience with their company and I look forward to working with them again in the future.  In the meantime, I haven't gotten a fence installed as yet: I thought it was only fair to still write about the great customer service I received!

Freedom Fence was very responsive from my first call to the completion of the job.  They removed my old chain link fence and installed the new six foot privacy fence in the same day (typical Baltimore city backyard).  They left the area clean and carted away all debris.

I am still waiting for them to fix my neighbor's fence, as contracted, but we have not paid for it yet.  Still waiiting to find the right posts for an older fence repair.

Freedom Fence owners Steve and Shane got right back to me after my initial call for an estimate.  Shane came out within a few days to scope the job and give an estimate, at my convenience and on a weekend.  I had two other quotes and Shane's quote came in under the other serious quote by $1500 and included additional features the competitors wouldn't price like the deck steps and latching deck gate for my dogs.  
Shane had told us it would be around 3 to 5 weeks to have the fence installed with their current workload, but to my surprise they were able to schedule us the week following our signing the contract.  They completed the work within two days, and it's beautiful!  So nice that even my neighbors behind us asked for their card.  I am completely impressed and I'm grateful to Angie's List for helping me find them since on my own I was having very little luck getting responsible and competitive companies to quote the job.

I contacted Freedom Fence based on their reviews from Angies List along with 3 other contractors for pricing on the above work. Steve, the owner of Freedom Fence, contacted me immediately following my internet information request (on a Saturday). We scheduled an appointment for the following Monday for an estimate. On our initial contact, he was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. 
I proceeded to secure the other estimates (as any good consumer would). Freedom Fence was the lowest out of all the estimates.  Although Steve came in with the lowest bid on the work, that was not the reason I hired him for my job. He was always patient and accommodating when responding to my many follow up questions.  This involved many emails and phone
calls, which he return promptly.  He talked me through the process.  This was a sizable purchase for our home and I felt he
really understood this and made me feel like I wasn't just another job to him. Being the lowest bid was just a bonus. When he came out to sign the contract he did a final measurements (a detail I appreciated as no one likes surprises) and brought up a small matter of having the A/C line raised up so the deck would slide under. This seems like a small detail,
however I was able to have the A/C person take care of this BEFORE construction as to not cause delays DURING construction.  I really appreciated his attention to detail.
The job started a few weeks after the contract was signed as he promised.  Steve showed up with his crew promptly on the first
day ready to work.  Both he and his crew were always very polite and respectful which was refreshing.  Steve was an active
participant with his crew in the entire rip down and building process. This may not seem important to some, but to me this shows that he is a true "lead by example" person, which truly resonated with me.  Each day the crew worked hard taking few breaks and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. After each project was complete, Steve and his crew looked proud of their work, and rightfully so!  All projects were completed on time with no delay. The fence looks amazing, the deck is beautiful and the retaining wall was built to last!  We are so pleased. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding.  You could tell the pride Steve and his employees took with each project completion. I have 2 small children and they too were ecstatic about the new fence and deck and enjoyed watching them being built.  We are truly looking forward to great summers for many years to come.  My hat goes off to Steve and his employees at Freedom Fence.  They did an outstanding job at a great price and we couldn't be happier.   

I called for an estimate, and they came out within a couple of days and started work. Everything was good; they were very good to work with.

I wish all contractors were this amazing!  The estimator arrived early, was very friendly, knowledgeable & fair  - after three other estimates from other companies - he was a breath of fresh air!  The estimator also works on the install & has been working in the industry for many years.  After reading reviews, finding they had a A+ rating at the BBB,  and comparing the price with the other estimates - we decided to go with Freedom Fence.  Our fencing appointment was scheduled a month out - we didn't mind the wait b/c a busy fencing company in the middle of winter is a great sign!  They were able to fit us in 2 weeks early & called to ask if an earlier date suited us.  The installers arrived early and did a fantastic job!  I highly recommend this company to anyone in the area - these guys are the best of the best.

My back drive gate was broken during Sandy's storm. Freedom Fence replaced it with a new and more efficient gate, making some changes to the exsisting structure. They were on time, extremely  professional and quick with the overall job. Their price was very competitive and accurate to their estimate. We were very  pleased and would use them again.

They were great and their price was what they said it would be. They had to match the fence around other yards in our neighborhood so the neighborhood looked uniform.

My husband was looking for a reliable contractor to replace about 140 ft of fencing and a driveway gate. We called a couple of
different contractors so we could have some idea what type of fence we wanted and how much it would cost. Freedom Fence did come
out and measure and stated that they would call and give us some prices of different types of fence. We waited for over a week and
then my husband called them. I don't know who we talked to but he said it was his partner who did the estimate and that he would
get back to us --- well now it has been almost 2 weeks and we still have not heard a thing.
If I can't even get a reply from them why would I want to contract a job with them?
upate -- It is now dec 28th and we still have not heard a word from them.

As with our first encounter with Freedom Fence, Steve was receptive and helpful throughout the whole process.  He was always on time for appointments and kept us up to date of any problems or concerns.  He made sure all permits were taken care of accordingly and that all inspections were handled  as required.  The job was finished in less than a week and within the promised time frame (even with some inclement weather). We would highly recommend Freedom Fence for your decking and fencing needs.  Their price was less than that of other companies we received estimates from, but their work was definitely not lower quality.  Great service and fair pricing would make us use them again without hesitation.

Steven was responsive, courteous, knowledgable, highly professional, and did the work perfectly in one day.  The fence is great.
