Everything went great. I called late to have this done, but they worked us in to their schedule on a Saturday We have Gum trees in the yard and had a lot of balls and sticks in the yard. They cleaned everything up and removed two bushes that had died over the winter. They cleaned all the mulch beds and applied new mulch.
The yard looks great. It's easy to work with E B as they are friendly and polite. The work looks great and we are very pleased with the results. They have helped us in the past and we will continue to call them in the future.

E B Landscaping is a great company. They are VERY easy to work with. They are HONEST!! They are professional, and their prices are very fair. They will work with you financially to ensure you can accomplish what you want to get done without making you break your bank. They have payment plans for everyone. They will make sure that you are satisfied with the job that was done and fix any problems you may have. They gave us a price for some tree removals, and the original trimmer had other obligations and couldn't do the job. They had another tree guy right away, and they even voluntarily ate the difference in cost themselves as the 2nd person was more expensive. We were extremely pleased with the job that was done on our yard, and the price they quoted us. They went out of their way to ensure that they did not get in your way while they were working, and always cleaned up after they were finished for the day. They will also teach you about landscaping as they work if you have an interest. I learned a lot about how to take care of grass and my land in general from them. They never tried to sell us anything we didn't need, which was nice. They even used materials that they had to help us build a small retaining wall made out of stones in our back yard for NO CHARGE. These guys were awesome!
I would recommend E B to anyone who needs any landscaping work done.

Ed and his father and son performed this work with the proper equipment and in a timely fashion. They were responsive from my first contact with them. I was contacted by telephone with estimated times of inspection and arrival and all went as promised. They did a beautiful job and have greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the adjacent lake.

I had started trimming my thick yew hedge this summer but stopped after my tennis elbow and electric shears had trouble keeping up with it's overgrown size. After all these years of doing it myself I was particular about having someone else trim it. Found this company on Angie's List and called Ed for an estimate-- promptly received it the next day after viewing what the job entailed. The friendly crew (father/son/brother-in-law) arrived that same afternoon to trim the hedge with long professional power tools-- for the hedge was both tall and wide. I told them exactly how I like the hedge clipped and after that little supervision was needed. This job exceeded my expectations, it was completed in a timely manner and the hedge is perfect--dare I say better than what I could have done. I will certainly use this company for future bush trimmings, my tennis elbow is happy and relieved too. I highly recommend their trimming services.

I contacted EB Landscaping, along with 2 other local landscapers, back in early June to get quotes for redoing the landscaping at our house. All the landscapers were prompt in their responses; within a week all had come by the house and sent relatively close price quotes for their services. Each company had follow-up questions about specific aspects of the work to be one and each reached out through both e-mail and phone. I ultimately selected EB Landscaping after getting comfortable talking to Ed and really getting the sense that his company was committed to performing exactly the services I was seeking and producing exactly what I had tried to describe.
Ed's crew arrived exactly when scheduled and jumped right into work to clear and reestablish the beds. The crew was comprised of Ed, his son, Ed's father, and another (unrelated) crew member. It was very obvious from the start that all 4 were committed to producing an excellent result. There was no wasted time, no nonsense. Each person knew what they were to do and went right to it. Along the way, as things came up, Ed would check in with me to verify what was being done was consistent with what I was expecting. I ended up asking for a couple minor changes and adding a couple (new) items to the work to be done. Ed was agreeable, gave quick pricing and went about incorporating the items to the work to be done. The job took 2 days and the results looks wonderful.
We will use EB Landscaping for our future needs and would heartily recommend them to others.

The heating and a/c unit went out. To replace the unit I had to clear the trees and shrubs that surrounded it. I called EB Landscaping to do the job. They were very responsive. They did a the work quick and efficient and cleaned up nicely.

Our back yard was a jungle of overgrown bushes, invasive wild rose, forsythia, and rose of Sharon. Four men worked for two hours and cleared all the growth we couldn't tackle ourselves and removed dead bushes. There was a volunteer mulberry tree three inches round in circumference that they removed. they filled a trailer of debris just from our yard. They pruned a boxwood and azaleas. They left the yard clean and neat and even removed a brush pile we had.

Landscaping, Drain Pipe Installation
We had a backyard water problem that was causing water to pool by our backyard furniture every time it rained. Ed dug a trench, put piping, and several drainage points that now have the water draining away from the furniture instead of standing there. The job took him several hours. He replaced the dirt and planted grass seed where he disturbed the ground. He has since come back and put down more seed after part of the ground was dug up because of a sliced cable, not his fault.

Ed is wonderful to work with. He listens to you and answers any and all questions you may have. He always returns phone calls. He and his family treat your home and yard with great respect. In the past, I spent many days waiting for contractors to show up when scheduled, only to wait in vain. Ed always showed up when he said he would. We knew we could always depend upon him and trust him to be there for us.
It is a delight and relief to work with such great people we are friendly, listen to what you want done and then follow through on your wishes. We would definitely recommend him and we look forward to working with him again in the future.

Ed was very responsive from start to finish and used email, text, and phone to communicate which I appreciated. The finished product looked great and it was exactly as he proposed. The vines in the backyard were so intertwined with the link fencing that they couldn't be fully removed so I'm hopeful they were cut down far enough such that they won't return. Overall I thought Ed did a great job and I would definitely hire his company again in the future.

Very prompt. After visiting the yard received a quote within a day of
calling. Came the next day to do the work after we accepted the quote.

"Customer called needing our mowing services because she had a problem with the previous service! Customer never once said there was a problem! We never received a letter to stop mowing, we did get a phone call, and stopped. There appears to be a pattern with her and mowing services. We always did what she asked us to do! including cutting the flowers planted in her yard by the neighbor. There were ploblems between her and the next door neighbor."

The hedges and trees at our house had gotten beyond the point where we could take properly trim them ourselves. I called Ed based on the reviews on Angies list last week and they were able to come out within a few days to complete the work. Everything looks great! They cleaned up all of the branches and other debris and took it with them. Would definitely use them again.

"I only received 1 email. the customer wanted lawn mowing w/leaf pick-up. i emailed her, that we only pick leaves up at the end of October. SHE NEVER EMAILED OR CALLED ME BACK!!! We have to use a different machine to pick up leaves and have means to carry away leaves. I also provided a Phone # and asked the customer to call me and discuss , as she did not provide a phone # to contact her. She never called, insted she placed a negative rating. A phone call is a better way to comunicate. MY RATINGS FOR WORK COMPLETED SPEAK FOR THEM SELVES!!!!!!!!!!"

"Yes, I was unable to go to the cutomers house on sat the 15th of september. The job we were working on took a longer than expected. I called the customer, to let them that I couldn't make the appointment. I did in fack go on Sun the 16th (OUR OFF DAY) to meet with the customer. I discussed things with Mr.Courille, had an idea of what he wanted. The member came out and discussed what she wanted. SOMETHING TOTALLY IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION!!!!! i explained that it would take some time to complete a computer rendering of the plan and get pricing and availablity of plants. THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME A WEEK, OR A CALL TO CHECK PROGRESS, INSTEAD THEY POST A NEGATIVE RATING IN 4 DAYS TIME!!!!!! IDON'T UNDERSTAND WHY!!!!!"

Ed responded to my initial phone call very quickly and due to an opening in their schedule they were able to come remove our old landscape almost immediately which we knew we were getting rid of. It took longer to figure out a plan for the new landscape so we had a very blank canvas for several weeks. A little difficult to get a good time frame for the rest but this was partly my own fault for choosing to do this late in the season and somewhat last minute. We provided examples of things we liked and didn't and allowed Ed (the son) to plan out the front landscape which turned out great and suited our tastes perfectly. They finished the project in one long, hot day and the results were great.

Overall experience was great. Called on Wednesday and got a call back in less than an hour. Ed (owner) was at my house Thursday morning to review the work and provided an estimate. The trimming work was completed Thursday afternoon. Ed is very professional, but also friendly. We will definetely use their services again when we need help with our yard.

Without much notice, I found myself suddenly in need of a lawn service. I decided to call EB Landscaping yesterday after reading all the positive reviews here on Angie's List. Ed got back to me almost immediately. He gave me a rough estimate for weekly lawn mowing and arranged to come by my house today to check out the job and provide a more accurate quote. During our phone call he also answered my questions about other services I may be interested in having them do. Even though I could not be here, he came by this morning, cut my lawn, did some trimming and left the bill at my door. He called me to let me know the job was completed and when I came home for lunch, I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled to see that my yard looks awesome. I look forward to continuing service with Ed's company; they did a wonderful job and provided the promised work within less than 24 hrs from my initial call. The price was exactly as he had estimated and I would highly recommend them to my friends.

Ed came right away to give me the estimates. He also gave me suggestions for a back hill that keeps washing away. The first job was to level out my yard and reseed. I was worried that it would take too long and then i wouldn't have the yard for a party at the end of June. The crew on a Sunday so I could have everything done in time. It took 2 truck loads of dirt to level the yard. My husband and I would have been shoveling dirt for 2 weeks but they came prepared. A crew of about 8 guys showed up with the owners. They were quick since they had all the right equipment. They came with 2 Bob Cat's to carry the dirt which saved so much time. With all the help they brought they had it leveled and reseeded in just a few hours. The cold weather and tornado's have caused the grass seed not to grow. Even though that was no fault of the company they are sending me some more grass seed for the bare spots.
I will probably call Ed back in the fall to work on the other 2 jobs. I am having work done on the back hill and to rebuild my sidewalks and patio in the back yard.

The work done was outstanding! Ed and his crew performed all the work specified. The tree stump and roots proved very challenging as the roots had grown all through the yard, under the sidewalk and into the neighbors' yards. They successfully removed the stump and roots and were able to install the boxes on both sides of my walk. I believe they went "above and beyond" to complete the work and produced excellent results. I am very pleased with the look of my front yard and have received compliments from many neighbors. I highly recommend this company!

EB Landscaping is a family owned business in Howard County, MD. I called on Wednesday for a quote, and was told that they would be available on Friday to swing by. On Thursday morning, there was a knock on the door to quote the job. My yard was a mess, and I needed weeding, pruning, edging, removal of overgrown plants, reshaping and tons of mulch. I was also in a hurry since we are hosting a party for my daughter's Confirmation on May 26th. The folks at EB squeezed our yard in before another job they had scheduled the very next day,At 9:00 am, 6 members of the family spanning 3 generations started work on my yard. They did not show up with a truckload of migrant workers like many other landscaping companies do. They communicated with us before anything was done throughout the process. They were courteous, respectful, and very good at what they do. They had state of the art equipment and were respectful our our neighbors as well.It was great to find a company that was flexible to our needs, and did a top notch job, and did not outsource. I highly recommend them, and will use them again.
