Wooten Appliance

The service went well. Wooten determined that the suds were due to a contamination of dish washing soap in the dishwasher. Most likely to have occurred from no rinsing soaking dishes well enough before putting them in the dishwasher. He dumped a 1/4 cup of olive oil in the dishwasher and let it run for a short period of time. The problem was gone and we didn't need to replace our ten year old dishwasher yet. We now know how to fix the problem ourselves if it occurs again. As for the stove, the error code is very specific and unfortunately the oven wouldn't reproduce the problem while he was there. He told us to call them when it popped up again and then he could make a better diagnosis. It hasn't happened since so we're still waiting.

Daryl came out and performed service on our 10 year old washer. He advised that the transmission was the issue we were having with the basket not spinning. Advised us that this was a costly repair and we should think about purchasing a new one. We did.

All went Very well!! Arrived on time. Completed all the necessary inspections and preformed any necessary fixes. Purchased as part of an Angie's List deal but will use again if appliances need repaired. Very satisfied. Competent service at a good price.

It went very well. He was punctual and efficient. He answered all our questions. We were most pleased.

It was difficult reaching Wooten through the phone and email and it took almost a week to finally get an appointment. However, when I got the appointment they called ahead, as promised, and came punctually. The technician not only fixed the problem but also taught me how to fix similar problems in the future so that I don spend money on service unnecessarily.

After the purchase was made, they emailed me and told me they do not service my area and I should request a refund.

It went excellent. They did everything that was included in the deal and did it well and they were courteous and professional.

They came out and looked at the appliance and gave us some information for what they thought might be the problem but wanted to do more testing to make sure they were correct. The appliance started working just fine.

I purchased the big deal for repair service on a large appliance. They contacted me a few days later and scheduled it for the end of the same week. I was at home for the entire service window of 1-5pm and they never showed up, did not call, and did not answer their office phone. I will not use them in the future.

It went fine. We had problems with our dishwasher and when they came, the problem had gone away. They were very nice, they - I can't remember if they charged us a minimum fee, but they told us that if the problem resurfaced, they would come back without charging any additional fee. They were very fair with what they did. They were here right on time.

It went well. On the initial service call, the repairman determined that he needed to get a part for the work. Hence, a second visit was required. He made the repair on the second trip, but we had to call him back a day or two later because the repaired part needed adjustment.

Very friendly and courteous repair guy, who unfortunately was unable to fix the problem and didn't offer to reimburse the $139. fee.

My unit was too old, and therefore it was not cost-effective to perform the repair. I appreciated his honesty.

They did a good job. They were quick on analysis and I had to pay only for the product part.

Repair part asked for a cost of over $200 for that part, but he found a different one for $50. Great service!

Technician was helpful, explained the problem when I asked. Told me that 7-10 yrs is all they are made to last these days :( This was a GE Profile, 7 yrs old, really thought it could be fixed, but he said the fan had gone which made the compressor fail and it would cost almost the same to fix as to replace. Not sure if this is true, because I had to pay 1700 to buy a new one, this time trying a Whirlpool, supposedly built in the USA. The technician was here about 20 minutes, and when I asked he did write on the slip that I could still use the Big Deal coupon again as I had paid $150 for it. I would use this company again, they were relatively punctual although I had to wait over a week for an appointment.

Showed up promptly, diagnosed issue, and fixed quickly.

This is the third time (over three years and for different problems) that Daryl has come to work on our dryer, and he has always been friendly, professional, thorough, and has been able to fix the issue in a very short time. The only thing that was difficult this time was that when we called on Monday to schedule an appointment, his schedule was such that he really didn't have time that week, and they wanted to schedule us for the following week. But because we were getting ready to travel, he made an extra effort to squeeze us in at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, even though it was not convenient in his schedule.

He did a great job. The gentleman was very thorough and explained to me what he was doing. He was able to resolve my problem with a dryer that wasn’t drying.

The repair person came on time. At first, he wasn't communicative about what he was doing or how it was going, but after 10-15 minutes, was more so. He fixed the ice maker and it has been working fine since, and he also gave me a recommendation about how I can keep that from happening again if I turn my house water off for vacation. He did a good job. My major complaint is with the price. It may be standard to charge over $139 to fix the ice maker. I only know that I happened to have a coupon for that much, and magically, that's exactly how much the cost came to. It seems exorbitant to charge that much to fix and ice maker, and in hind sight, I should have just not gotten it repaired and used our old fashioned ice cube trays. I don't fault the repair person for the price, but rather the company.

I purchased this deal to have a refrigerator repaired in a rental house I own. As the refrigerator was not working, the tenant had unplugged it. The company came out the first time, and informed the tenant that the appliance would need to be plugged in for 24 hours before they could diagnose the problem. They plugged it in, then they left. They came back about a few days later on the 8th and diagnosed the issue. They informed me that the Control Board needed to be replaced, and the part would cost about $150.00. They came back again on the 10 th to install the board. After their final trip, the refrigerator still does not work. My tenant has now been without a refrigerator for over 3 weeks, and the company has been unresponsive in resolving this issue. Update: After working through Angie's list I was able to get refunded all but the normal service-call fee. Wooten took back their control board and at least I only paid to find out that my fridge was dead. I had to buy a new fridge.

Daryl was fantastic. He determined what he believe the problem to be. He explained that he would need to order the part and come back. However, this is when the crazy part comes. Instead of trying to sell me on that route and making more money he recommended that I order the part online and do it myself as it would be much cheaper. How often does that happen!
