Half way through the job they couldn't go any further so they used a camera and realized that the tree roots collapsed the drain.
Their price was competitive, they worked very fast. They were fast and on time.
Two men came out and it took about forty minutes to complete, they did a good job explaining what they were going to do and explained why they needed to use the camera.

It was fine. The man who did the work was really good. I can't speak for Roto-Rooter themselves but he was very a courteous and a very nice man. It was pricey but I needed it done because I had water backing up and they did it the same day. He was a master plumber and I didn't know that until he came here and he was just really a good guy. He was very thorough in what he did and he wasn't going to leave until he was satisfied that all the drains were clear.

Worker arrived in a timely manner responding to a late-night call (~10pm); properly assessed the situation; was professional in his demeanor and approach to the work; provided a temporary fix for the night; scheduled to return the next day to complete the job; also offered sound advice to fix a likely future problem, which he did the next day. Only less than satisfactory issue was pricing. It cost $650 for two hours of labor and parts to repair the damage and install some new pipe. They are a 24-hour service, so that may increase the price, and I don't know what a competitor would have charged for the same service, but they did a good job and I would use them again. Plumbing repair just costs a lot, apparently.

The pipe was collapsed. However, Bawk our Plumper was very professional. He took care not to dirty the house. He put bootys on his boots, a tarp on the floor and even brought in rags to clean the snaking machine he used. He originally quoted $460.00 then reduced to $385.00 because I was an Angies list customer to snake the pipe and clear the blockage. However, when he realized the pipe was collapsed he reduced the cost to &250.00 without me even asking. It was not his fault that the pipe was collapsed and I had already signed to okay $385.00 but Bawk lowered the price anyway. Bawk Nhkum is a true gentlemen and professional you can rely on to not take advantage of you.

I had a great experience with my technician, Rohming. Roto-Rooter was my second call on a Saturday, and I needed same day help. The technician was so nice and helpful. He explained everything he did, worked really hard to keep everything clean, and pointed out some areas where I would need future service. I was very impressed with the service I received and I'll call them when I need help in the future.
