It went okay. The serviceman explained the charges and the possibility his snaking the pipe (old, galvanized) would produce a hole. Of course, the pipe produced a hole. This was a separate charge from the cleaning to have the serviceman cut a hole in my wall and replace the pipe. He was clean and professional. Although it cost me more than I had initially anticipated, I am pleased with the service.

I came home late afternoon on October 17. I used my kitchen sink to wash vegetables and my dog's bowls. I went down the basement shortly after to find water running down the basement wall and dripping through the soaked subflooring. I had used Roto Rooter for clogged drains, but was uncertain if they provided plumbing services. When I called, they were very helpful, and said that they would have a plumber there ASAP. They meant it! When the first two guys, David and Will, came, I thought they were the plumbers, but they were restoration techs. They examined the issue, and recommended restoration work, as the wooden subfloor was totally soaked, and the leak was between the base of my kitchen sink cabinet and the kitchen floor. This area was inaccessible. I agreed to the restoration, and the team of guys got to work immediately. The plumber, Bryan, arrived soon after. After examining the plumbing and discovering that the vent pipe went through the wall to the back porch, he went to Home Depot to get additional supplies. He worked until after midnight. He did a fabulous job, and replaced the last piece of 60 year old galvanized pipe in my home. The job was excellent and thorough, and I could not have been happier with the result. When the fans and dehumidiers were removed on the following Saturday, there was not a trace of dampness left.

Plumber was patient, thorough, clean, organized.

The people who did the restoration work were fine but the other crew that did the sewer work were not easy to get along with.

The process went very well. The technician was very determined and committed to locating all apparent copper pike pinhole water leaks in the ceiling and resolving the matter before extensive damage was incurred.

They did an excellent job. I would use them again.

When I first used Roto-Rooter, I never thought I would use them again. I had such a wonderful and professional experience, I always call on Roto-Rooter. Technician Ram always does a wonderful job and I make sure I recommend him every time. He's the best.

They are excellent, that's why I keep going back to them. There was one worker. It was pretty bad, so it took him about two and a half to three hours.  Everything worked okay.

The water main line to my home ruptured on a Sunday morning and was flooding my yard until the county came out to turn off the water supply. I called Roto-Rooter and they were very responsive and sent a project manager to our home within three hours of my initial call. He was professional and explained that, because it was an underground leak, he couldn't be sure what would be required but that it could involve excavating at least a portion of the yard with heavy equipment. He provided a quote of $4450 and said that he had one opening left if we wanted a crew to come out the next day. There was a major snowstorm forecasted for the next evening and, being without water, I scheduled the service. The next morning, two men showed up at 730 AM without any heavy equipment and dug a 2' x 3' hole with hand shovels. They replaced a 2.5' section of 3/4" pipe and had our water service restored by 915 AM. Total time on the job including travel time was about 9 hours between both men (they had to wait for the county inspector to approve the repair). I called the project manager and told him that I was willing to pay a premium for the quick-turn on the service but that I felt the price was extremely unreasonable for the time and materials that were actually required. He was polite but said it was a flat rate and told me that I would need to speak to his Manager. I called the Production Manager and his response to the same question was ‘What’s unreasonable amount it, you have water again don’t you?’ He added ‘Would you have felt better about spending your money if it took my guys longer to do the job?’ and closed by telling me that I should understand that businesses need to make a profit. He ultimately reduced the price by $700 because he acknowledged that they didn’t have to use any heavy equipment. At the end of the day, it is my fault for signing off on the quote but, given the situation and pending weather event, I didn’t have time to obtain multiple quotes. While Roto-Rooter was responsive and fixed the issue in a timely manner, I believe that the price I paid was approximately 3-4 times more than what it should have been.

It went great. Very professional.

They came right away, we called them that morning, they came right away. They guy was really professional. Really nice. Cleaned up the mess, and they were gone. I would defiantly recommend them. It wasn't really expensive. It was between four  to sixty hundred dollars.  He made sure it was cleared, and cleaned up. A matter fact, we have a center island, and they even checked it. I was so pleased with them.

It went well. The guy that came out was very helpful and knowledgeable as to what he was doing. At first we thought it was complete, because everything was working and he left. Minutes later I flushed the toilet and it started backing up again. I called them and they sent him right back out.
