My water heater stopped working Friday night. Most plumbing company were not open on Saturday. I called 5 places before I called this company. None of them had anyone available, because of the short notice. I called Roto Rooter, and they answered right away. The scheduled someone to come out between 9 and 12. The person called at 9:15 to say that they were on their way. The plumber was courteous and professional. He identified the issue, gave me a quote on time and cost, performed the repair, and verified his repair for me. 
Next time I am calling this company first.

I am happy that Roto-rooter was able to send someone out on such short notice (I called this morning and they came this afternoon).

I am unhappy, however, with the condition in which my house was left. I don't expect your employee to clean my whole bathroom but I do expect that he will clean up water he spilled on the ground and carpet. Furthermore he drug his large machine up and down my wood steps causing permanent damage (scrapes, scratches and blue paint marks). Also, the machine stained my carpet near the bathroom.

The camera guy that came the next day was fine... He took the time to explain everything and showed me the video and told me what I needed to do to resolve my issue.

Roto-rooter was definitely not the cheapest company (about 6-7 times more expensive than your competitors) and for the amount I paid I really expect that your employees will respect my home.

The scheduling was very easy. The tech showed up on time, did his job in a clean manner and fixed the problem.

Pretty amazing work - all done outside in the freezing cold weather and snow falling. The technician luckily came well equipped, and was able to remove the aluminum soffit cover and cut away the floor from the outside in order to get to the kitchen copper pipes from below (not an easy task to say the least). Once exposed, he was able to insulate and custom fit a board box to protect from cold and wind in the coming years. Very thankful for the professional work and attention to detail.

They were quick and efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I felt they gave a fair price to cover expenses beyond the Angie's list deal.

Had a leaking shower drain.  It was located in a place that was hard to
reach.  We had to remove a section of HVAC duct to get to the drain.  He
spent several hours trying to fix it before we finally removed the
duct.  In the end, he adjusted some time and I wound up not using the AL
deal for plumbing services to save some money.  In the end, I had to
hire an HVAC person to come back and repair the duct.

The guy came here and he automatically wanted to charge me $400 to run a snake down my PVC pipe for my washing machine. I thought it was insane. I did it myself. I was taken aback why he was going to charge me that kind of money just to run a snake.

The entire job went smooth. Kenneth and Quentin are skilled plumbers who immediately determined the problem areas of my plumbing and tackled them like pros. Their demonstration of good workmanship and customer service was indeed evident. I was well pleased with their price, punctuality, responsiveness quality of work and overall professionalism, Therefore, I would like to give high praises to these two fine gentlemen for a job well done!
