The workers from A-1 Roofing Services/Kangaroof were very professional. Everything worked out well. They did a good job cleaning, so that was important. The guy was very conscientious about making sure he vacuumed and cleaned up. They were also polite. They had laid out plenty of bags of insulation on my driveway. I was expecting the whole process to take a lot longer than it did, and there were plenty of bags still left over. I commented to them about the bags, and he said they usually bring extra, in case they need it. I'm sure they did every part of my attic. I was just surprised that they laid out some many bags and then had to put them back. They did want me to go on a ladder and see the work. I liked that he asked me to check. The work itself was good.

Original inspection went very well, the installer explained the process in detail. I bought the additional insulation we needed to bring our attic to code. I was very comfortable in dealing with all the folks in the company, received reminder call of my appointment and everything went well.

First of all, he was very prompt and professional. Sam came out the day after my son called him. He got on the roof and immediately saw the problem. The pipe need additional caulking. This is where he was outstanding. He said he could do it but it would cost an estimated $125 - or he suggested my son go to Home Depot and just buy the silicon caulking himself and save the money. How honest is that! He showed my son what to do and never charged a thing for the home call. So far the remedy seems to be working -- even after a strong rain all day today. I know that A-1 will be someone both my son and I will call the next time there are any roofing issues.

Roof maintenance inspection. Did not do much as far as maintenance and felt like it was just an opportunity for them to provide an estimate for more expensive and unnecessary roof work.

Was told I need a new roof but received no follow up. After I called the company, I was only able to speak to the administrative person who later emailed me an estimate. I was not provided any explanation of the issues or the basis for the cost. I was provided a roof inspection report/checklist that showed my roof was fine and did not support the conclusion that I needed a new roof.

I purchased an Angie's list 'coupon' for a roof inspection. (We had a leak during high winds and rain.) The technician showed up 4 hours early (he did call first) which was nice but he was alone and had to call me when his ladder fell while he was on the roof. After putting his ladder back up for him he completed the inspection. He informed me of the problem and game me their "StraightForward Pricing" form and told me the repair would cost $678. I was prepared to go ahead but when I never heard back about scheduling a repair I called Glen Burnie Roofing. They responed in a few days and gave me a quote of $250 for the same work. (And an apology, this was their minimum fee.) They completed the work within a week. (stormy week and they knew they were backed up.) They even sent photos of the work before and after since it was on a 3rd floor roof.

I found when doing research that the people who lived in my home before had put a lot of doors and other items in the crawlspace and that unfortunately has to be cleaned out before any work can be done. We did call them and their was a delay but they were polite and they let us know the expiration of the coupon but we just cannot get the work done before it expires. They seemed very understanding and she did offer other services such as roofing to take care of the coupon but it just was not needed. She was very professional over the phone as well.

They say they are booked until December 30. That is a long time to wait. When they finally arrived they did a very professional job. My wife and I were very pleased.

Prompt and professional attitude. However, they did minor damage to the roof, - which they fixed immediately and without charge. But it made me wonder how much experience they actually had...

The Company was completely unresponsive. I had Angie’s List reach out to them to contact me and Still have not gotten a response. I have asked Angie’s list for my refund.

"For quite some time, there were problems with the message center. We could not respond to the messages sent. Contact information for each customer who purchased the deal was sent to our company on October 16, 2013. Our office attempted to contact you on October 17, 2013. A message was left at the telephone number provided. We are sorry you did not get a response sooner."

It turned out pretty good. Their staff is friendly, they came early and seemed to have gotten the job done pretty well. They came out about a week and a half ago and I spent about $1500.

"First of all, In response to the incorrect pictures being sent, accidents do happen. We do make mistakes and we are not perfect. Secondly, the two man team that we employed, was not laid off, they were fired. As we go about hiring new team members. All of our employees are drug tested, background checked and professionally trained. We do this for our customer's safety and a well done job. We offered the refund or suggested a later date for the customer's convenience."

The price quadupled once they got there. I have a small townhouse therefore a small attic and was told that now it would be an additional $400. It no longer was a "good deal" and I'm out $99. $200 would have been okay. Representative was professional so no reflection on him.

It went well (they were a little late getting here). They put in the insulation in the attic. He let me look at it and I pointed out that there looked like a lack of insulation in one are. Then they completed the insulation and then the left (As for the issues with the roof, I did have another contractor look at the roof. They said that we could wait the 3 or 4 years that we have left in the roof)
