Ron Air was great. They did a really good job for my AC unit.

It went great. Answered the phone quickly, scheduled me promptly... a few days... don't remember but it wasn't an emergency call. Called before they arrived, arrived when they said they would, diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes. Ordered the part, came back and installed it.

Bill, Joe, and Ben provided us with a flawless experience, beginning with our initial meeting and estimate, to completion of the job. The estimate for the work to be performed was competitive with others we received; however, what set Ron Air apart was the overall level of service we received. Bill's professionalism and ability to really listen and respond to our concerns and questions during the estimate phase was tremendously helpful. The installation took place a mere 10 days following Bill's initial visit to our home, and it would have been even sooner had it not been for all of the inclement weather we've had this winter. Joe and Ben were absolute professionals during installation. They were so efficient, and went out of their way to keep noise down while our small children napped during the day. They left the areas in which they were working very neat and clean. Will happily recommend and use Ron Air in the future.

All staff were very professional and courteous, including sales person Bill, office person Pat, and installers Joe and Ben. We believe it was a challenging installation in our attic, and they worked hard to do a good job. We wanted to establish a relationship with a local dealer in Howard County for this purchase and follow-up service, and we are glad we did.

I found Ron Air on Angie's List. I called and first spoke with Pat who was professional, very nice, and very helpful. I explained what was wrong and that I did not think it was an emergency but I wanted someone to come out and take a look. She scheduled an appointment to send someone out that week. I was impressed with the guy they sent (Mark I think) to check out our heat pump system. He explained the problem and my options. After some discussion, I elected to have our heat pump and air handler replaced. Bill from Ron Air contacted me to explain our choices. He did a great job explaining the differences in the systems he recommended. He also went on to explain why he did not recommend some of the other systems they sell. (My husband did a bunch of research and independently arrived at the same make and model recommended by Bill.) I made an appointment to have the system replaced on Feb 5. Those of you in the area will be aware that we had an ice storm the night before. The streets and sidewalks were coated in ice that morning so I was concerned that they might have to reschedule. They showed up right on time and went to work. The two guys (Joe and his partner whose name I did not catch) were efficient and professional. They were respectful of my home and the fact my kids were running about (home due to the snow day.) Because of the configuration of our old system, they needed to replace some of the duct work around the air handler. They worked hard in a limited space to make everything fit and it looks nice too. Before they left, they explained the entire system to me, showed me how everything worked, made sure I knew where all the manuals were, went over the paperwork, and asked if I had any questions. I am confident going forward that if I do have any questions, or anything goes wrong with the system, I can count on Ron Air to be there to help me. The contractor I used to do business with recently retired. I am delighted to have found Ron Air and intend to continue to use their services.

Went very well. Job was completed in one day with minimum disruption. Technicians were easy to work with and were able to suggest a solution to a long standing maintenance (clogging) issue involving the second floor - again, attic mounted - condensate pump and drain. Pricing is reasonable but not the best. However, we decided to go with Ron Air based on our previous service experience and the desire to support local small business. Our first floor unit is also more than 20 years old and due for replacement. A summer project, and we will probably use Ron Air for this job as well.

He came at the beginning of the time slot and i had heat in no time. Clean, friendly, helpful and will order a part and repair the Aprilaire. Bonus!

We are very happy with the service and equipment provided by Ron Air. The technicians arrived on time, and performed the work in the time promised. All the work was done professionally and courteously and a full explanation of the system was provided before they left. They cleaned up the workspace nicely and described how to use the new programmable thermostat. Ron Air installed the HVAC equipment in our home when it was built 24 years ago and we've always been very happy with the service that they've provided through the years. I would highly recommend them for any heating and cooling services.

My elderly mother needed a new gas furnace and A/C. We decided to go with a heat pump and use her gas furnace as the auxillary heat. My brother-in-law originally met with Mr. Cashmark. Due to my brother-in-law going out of town, Mr. Cashmark had to meet and review things with me. The week following I called with numerous questions. He and the office staff were always very accessible and patient. When the installation was actually done, my sister was on site as opposed to me. Mr. Cashmark had to deal with numerous family members. This was a group effort. He was very understanding. The installation crew was prompt and professional. Job went as scheduled - three days. They also worked it so my mother was never without heat. They provided BGE rebate and tax credit info which will reduce the cost by $450 In addition to having high Angie ratings, we chose Ron Air Inc because they provide 24 hour emergency service. This was especially important since my mother is elderly.

woke up to cold air from heat pump blowing out of vents, outside temp low 40s was told someone would be there before noon that day. technician arrived 8:40am, checked coils and filter and auxiliary heat, all good. R22 low, must have slow leak on almost 7 year old heat pump. technician said to keep an eye on it, recheck in spring. warm air now coming out of vents, heating well. finished by 9:20am.

One of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. Thank you, Angie's List, for the recommendation. William Cashmark provided the estimate. He was punctual and professional. He was more observant and took more time to explain the possibilities than the other two contractors that I had considered. Ron-Air was flexible in working with me to find a time in which they could complete the job. The work crew was punctual and professional and worked all day to get the job done, without the nonsense you might find with other contractors (long lunch breaks, smoking breaks, different workers in and out). At the end, they were so proud of their work and were almost beaming as they showed me what they had done. Their work was creative, complete, and clean. They cheerfully showed me how to work the new thermostat. One of the crew stayed behind to clearly go over all of the warranty, rebate, and tax savings information. (Ron-Air handled the BGE rebate for me.) He was in no rush and repeatedly asked me if I had questions and reminded me to contact them if anything came up. They followed up a week later with a thank-you card. I look forward to many years of my new high efficiency furnace and a/c.

They do excellent work. They’re very responsive and their customer service is excellent. I like the company, would highly recommend them and will use them again.

The process from assessment to recommendation of options to install were all excellent. They reviewed the situation with us so we knew our options and also what savings we would get by upgrading to a different unit, basically how long would we have to live in the house to recoup the cost via energy savings. I thought this was a nice surprise given others had just recommended we upgrade the size of the H/P in addition, they took care of all of the energy rebates for us. The service technician that came out to assess the issue was very good and explained what happened and their office followed up promptly. The install went very smoothly, they were professional, friendly, clean and arrived on time; how often does that happen anymore with service providers. I was also impressed with how clean they were and how you wouldn't know they were here unless we told you. Overall our experience was excellent from start to finish and I would highly recommend them for service or installation of new equipment.

The heat pump in the attic overflowed into the second floor on July 4. A flange on the pan under the heat pump had been installed improperly so that the pan leaked water before the turn-of float for the heat pump engaged. Ron Air squeezed us into its busy schedule reasonably quickly, showed up on time, and did the work. I am now confidenent the problem is fixed (an overflow occurred previously but a different company (a subcontractor to the builder of the house) had failed to identify the problem with the flange and fix it). Not sure of cost, but it was reasonable and may even be good--I don't have a comparison to judge. Ron Air is first on our list for any subsequent HVAC work we may need.it

Perfect. Called to ask if they could come early (had a cancellation), then showed up right on time and did a great job.

Mechanic Joe and helper Dave were clean, courteous, and efficient. On completion of installation and inspection, Joe went through and explained entire system thoroughly, very friendly, and knowledgeable.

My 14 year old York heat pump finally died. I have been using Ron Air for about 10 years for the maintenance of my two heat pumps. Based on my experience with with them, and the great Angie's List references I decided to go with Ron Air for replacing the heat pump with a Trane. Their team completed the install in one day. They put drop cloths down in all the work areas, and cleaned up thoroughly at the completion. They removed all the old equipment too. After the install, the took the time to walk me through everything, including the proper cleaning of the Clean Effects air cleaner. I was especially impressed that they knew about the re-instated tax credits when other vendors did not know.

Our motivation to perform the work was to achieve a better heating experience moving to gas fired heat and enable our system to operate on stand-by electric power should we have a power failure during the heating season. Bill Cashmark, service manager with Ron Air, met with me to discuss our needs and worked up pricing for the conversion to a duel fuel system. The work began on November 26th, 2012 by Joe and at approximately 8:30 AM and they had us back on with heat by early afternoon. Joe from Ron Air began the installation by enabling heatpump operation until AVS plumbing connected the furnace to the gas manifold on Wednesday November 28th. The installation crew was professional and left the job site spotless. Once connected to the gas, Mark from Ron Air, returned on Thursday the 29th and checked out the system operation on gas and called for the inspection. The inspector arrived on Friday and everything was approved for operation.

It went very well. I had gotten the thermostat replacement under warrant, but was very unhappy with another company that was going to install it. Ron Air was very responsive, got over very quickly, gave me a good estimate and explnation of what was entailed and how much it would cost. I was very happy with the experience.

They did a great job. They inspected everything thoroughly before doing the job. Came up with major improvements for maintenance and explained the whole process before they did the work. I am very happy with everything and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have air conditioning work done.

Ron Air, did an excellent job, they have top notch employees. I used them even though they were more expensive than the competing bids. But, they are worth it.

One of the zones of our two zone A/C system stopped cooling. I called Ron Air on Monday morning and they were able to come out on Wednesday afternoon. Steve checked it out and was able to diagnose the problem in a matter of minutes. He replaced a capacitor in the outside unit and that was that. Steve is very nice, answering my questions about eventual replacement of the heating and cooling system, the work was performed quickly and professionally and the cost was very reasonable. My wife notes that Pat, the receptionist, is not the friendliest person on the phone, but otherwise we have no complaints. This is the third time we've used Ron Air and I will definitely use them again and recommend them if asked.

Very punctual, very professional, clean, accommodating, cleaned up work space, went about work in a timely manner, made sure to explain everything to me. Owner even came by to make sure I was happy with everything and thank me for doing business with them.
