Description of Work: I was thrilled with their performance and recommendations when I needed to replace my full heat pump system in June. They didn't try to upsell me, made excellent recommendations about turning around the air handler to make access to the filter easier and moving the heat pump to the side of the house, showed up when they said they would, and took care of all the paperwork for the BGE rebate. Also, when the system needed a minor adjustment to improve airflow to the upper floor, they were there within a day to make the change. Thrilled with them. Highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They installed a new heat pump magic Pak into the unit. It took about 6 hours but it was a big job and they completed it in good time. They built a new and much better platform for the heat pump to sit on. it is now much sturdier than before. They also reworked and manufactured parts for a completely new lead in for the ventilation system. This rebuild was sorely needed and the increase in airflow through out the entire unit has increased by at least 80%. I would use them again in a heartbeat, they are really good at what they do.

Description of Work: A very pleasant HVAC service technician quickly diagnosed why my air conditioning unit was leaking all over the floor and why the house was not cooling properly. He was extremely efficient with cleaning the clogged pipe out, inserting a new s-shaped device that would prevent any further problems with clogging, and proceeded to set my dehumidifier up to the sump pump drainage well in the basement. He also made several recommendations for better ventilation in my basement. He was very professional and extremely competent in his work. Thank you Ron Air for employing such a nice person. I would definitely use this company again!!!

+ -1 moreThe technicians at Ron Air are always courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, and respectful of your home. These guys impressed me from the beginning when they came in the front door and put booties on their shoes so they wouldn't track dirt through the house. I've used them for over a year now and have the maintenance plan which gives you a discount off parts. During the course of the year, they were able to identify issues that needed to be taken care of including installing a new heat pump reversing valve. They were also able to diagnose a loud banging sound from the furnace which required gas valve replacement. Pat has always been great about calling and letting us know when a tech is on the way.. they give you a window of time when someone will arrive, but always call to let you know someone is on the way. Prices are slightly higher than other providers in the area, but certainly worth the premium in my opinion.

+ -1 moreBill, the service manager, came to house as scheduled to determine my needs, explained the various furnace and AC options available, including humidifier and air purifiers as optional amenities. I received an estimate within a few days by email. I called at the end of that week and was able to schedule the work for the middle of the following week. Kevin came to the house, made some measurements, and the work began as scheduled a day or two later. Joe and Dave arrived on time on a Wednesday and the work was completed about 2:30 the following afternoon. Both men were extremely professional, friendly, (answered all of my questions), and lastly, cleaned up completely. I had used Ron Air previously to replace a heat pump for my upstairs unit, was pleased, and thus, the main reason for rehiring them. Highly recommended!
