It went without a hitch. They were here when they said they would be and completed the job in less time than anticipated. Everything went as smooth as it could possibly go. There was no inconvenience to me what so ever.

They came out to look at the job and said they would get back to us shortly but never did.

We had Bill come out first and give us a quote. We also had another company give us a quote. Both companies were in the same ball park, but Bill just seemed to be more knowledgable and to have more experience so we went with Ron Air. Joe and Dave arrived on time time and worked all day for 2 days straight. Both were friendly and very professional. Joe was extremely nice and explained all the details/directions for all the different appliances. They also completely cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely recommend them and will probably use them again in the future, if needed

We opted not to go with Ron Air solely based on price. But overall, they were great to work with. They were responsive, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They were fair and easy to work with. Though we opted for a different company, they were gracious when we told them that we had done so. True professionals! Great customer service! Good people!

I originally called, complainging of a motor noise. Technician arrived within appointed time estimate (actually about the middle of it). He performed the basic frunace inspection and cleaned things up, reported all OK. He also diagnosed the motor as needing replacement. He quoted the price which turned out to be accurate. I asked for an exact appointment time and was willing to wait a few days to get one. When that time came, the same technician was there with the part. He cleaned things appropriately as he removed the old motor: fan and housing. After completing the repair, the furnace and air handler are working flawlessly.

Ron Air has always done a very good job for us at reasonable prices. Scheduling is simple and easy and they do a good job of fitting us in when there is a breakdown and we have no heat or AC. They consistently arrive when they say they will. Service technicians are polite, professional, and do a good job of explaining problems. Paperwork is good and easy to read. When they repair something we can rely on it. They never have to make repeat service calls to fix the same problem or because they broke something last time. We took competing bids for the recent heat pump replacement so I know I got a fair price. Ron Air was helpful during the estimating process and furnished and installed the new system quickly. The installation itself was very smooth with minimal noise and disruption to the household. They cleaned up well afterward and went to considerable trouble to show me everything and teach me about maintenance and how to use the new thermostat.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They were wonderful to deal with from start to finish and I will continue to use them in the future. I had done some research so I had a basic idea of possible options and systems I contacted the company in early March for an estimate of a new system. Pat, who handles incoming calls, was extemely pleasant to deal with and couldn't be more helpful, accommodating and efficient. We arranged for Bill, the service manager, to come out a couple of days later at an agreed upon time to provide an estimate. Bill did a thorough evaluation of the current needs and assessment of the system in place. He explained a couple of options both for the heat pump and the air filter. He spent time with me reviewing the potential systems, how they work and efficiency issues. He promised me a written proposal within a day. I had the proposal e-mailed to me later that afternoon. The pricing for the system and various options were clearly detailed. I got back to the company within a week to confirm that I wanted to go with their proposal for the more efficient Trane XL16i system including heat pump, air handler, thermostat and air filter. A 1/3 deposit was provided along with the signed contract. We agreed on an installation date within the week. On the appointed day a crew of three led by Joe came to do the installation which was scheduled for the entire day. The crew was both personable and professional. They respected the cleanliness of the house and the areas of the work. They dismantled the old system and installed and tested the new system. They were not able to complete the reinstallation of the previous humidifier on that day but came back, as discussed and scheduled, a couple of days later to complete the last part, the re-installation of the humidifier. Upon the installation on the first day they reviewed how the system works, including the thermostat, the periodic cleaning of the air filter that I can easily do, the safety measures for all parts of the system and the warranties. The price of the Trane rebates came off of the total cost that I paid to the company and they did all the paperwork to process the BGE rebate which will come directly to me. They followed up the installation with a pleasant note thanking me for my business. From start to finish they are the model of a company that knows good business, cares about their customer and provides a fair price.

They are A+ in my book. Local company that understands their product line and expert in the installation. They took time to cover the floors and cleaned up when they were done. I have no complants.

There were three trucks and at least four servicemen here for about 8 hours. They did their work without disturbing us at all, except for the inevitable noise of an installation. They lined the rugs with work cloths to protect everything and used only one appropriate door. They even cover their shoes when they enter our house. This company has cared for our heating and air conditioning for many years, and they have been very responsive, friendly, and helpful. They carefully explain any situation as well as possible. When we decided to have them install the heat pump and furnace, they came the next morning, a Friday, to measure and had the new equipment and men here at 8:30 Monday morning to install. They also made sure that we could use our old equipment and stay warm until Monday morning when they would install the new system. After they finished the installation on Monday, they carefully checked the entire system to see that it was working before they left. I went to their office the next day to give them a check, and the office person was very kind. One of the servicemen who had been at our house came up to me and gave me a piece of paper. He said that it had been on the old air handler and that he thought we might want to have it. Had I not come in, he probably would have brought it to our house.

We'd considered having a whole house (in-duct) humidifier installed for several years and finally decided to get it done. I called Ron Air and spoke with Pat, who was very courteous and even allowed me to use a coupon from their website that had recently expired. The service technician showed up right right on time and appeared to know his stuff. He removed our old defunct unit, patched things up, and installed the new humidifier unit. He was polite and didn't mind me watching him work (I'm a nut for watching home improvement shows) and asking questions. The unit has been functioning fine for about a week. Pricing was right on par to other quotes I'd received.

Over the holidays my heating system was not working properly. I did not notice this right away due to the unseasonably warm weather before Christmas, but realized something was wrong when the weather got colder. I contacted Ron Air on December 27th asking if they could send out to come check out my HVAC system. I was expecting them to send someone the next day, however I was pleasantly surprised when they told me they could send someone that same day. The repairman showed up within the time frame they told me he would come. He was a very nice person and very professional. He took a look at the HVAC system and found the problem almost right away. A sensor that is supposed to detect the flame in the HVAC furnace was not working properly and was shutting the system down. He cleaned the sensor and tested it out to make sure it was working properly. He also checked some of the cables to make sure there weren't any other problems. Also, he did not seem to mind me looking over his shoulder the whole time he was making the repairs. I was a bit curious to see what he was doing. Overall it was a good experience. I am glad that it wasn't a bigger issue and that they were able to fix my heating system right away. I will definitely be using them again, as I will probably need to have my system inspected this summer.

We needed to replace our heat pump for upstairs. We also wanted to try to fix the uneven heating and cooling problem in our upstairs. Ron Air gave us a reasonable estimate for the heat pump and air handler, but then worked with us to find a zoning system that could be installed to split our upstairs into 2 zones. I have had good experience with Ron Air in the past so we decided to have them do the job. They installed the outside heat pump, an air handler in the attic, a zone controller, 2 electronically controlled dampers, and 2 thermostats. All of people who work at Ron Air were great. They showed up on time, were very professional, performed the work as expected, and left the site clean. I would highly recommend Ron Air.

Their responsiveness was impressive. They came out the next day and I had a quote by the end of that day. Once I selected Ron Air, an installation date was selected for a couple of days later. The service technicians arrived on-time and the first thing they did was lay down protective tarps throughout the house where they traveled. They were polite, informative, and professional. Upon completion of the job, they went through all operations of the equipment, manuals, registration, etc. They were so clean you could not even tell anything went on in the housr that day. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for heat pump products.

A work crew arrived on time, on the scheduled date of installation. The majority of the installation work was complete by noon and one guy stayed on after that to charge the system and start it up. After the system was started, he stayed on to explain the thermostat operation, replacing of the filter and cleaning of the condensate drain in the air handling unit. All ot those on the installation crew were pleasant and they cleaned up very nicely after the job was complete. I would not hesitate to use them again. And, I am very happy with the new Trane system. It is working very well.

They were on time. They performed a seasonal check on my gas furnace. They diagnosed the problem with my heat pump and ordered the part, a fan motor (which was under warranty). The manufacturer said there would be an approximately 2 week delay for the part, which was fine because the weather did not require us to turn on the heat pump. About two weeks later, they called to tell me that the manufacturer was now saying it would be another couple weeks before the part would be available. At this point I felt we would need to use the heat pump so Ron Air going to provide me with a temporary fix. That ended up being unnecessary because someone in the office called the manufacturer and worked their way up the management chain to find out that there were parts available, they were just in other parts of the country. They got the manufacturer to send a part next day and Ron Air came to install it right away. Ron Air gets an A++ for their customer service. The manufacturer gets an F.

Mark came on time, quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot.

When the weather suddenly got cold earlier this week, our heat would not come on. I'm sure that happens to a lot of people at this time of year. We called another provider but they would never answer the phone. So we called Ron Air and made an appointment for them to come out 2 days later. The technician was friendly and efficient, conducting a thorough examination of the whole system. Thankfully, it was a very minor electrical problem with the thermostat that was easily fixed. I was glad he reviewed everything in case there was some other unknown problem. Everything was taken care of within an hour.

Overall and in the details and specifics, superb from beginning to end. So far, no issues or problems with anything. Recommended without reservation.

I signed the contract on 9/10/09 and the system was installed on 9/16/2009. The installation crew was very professional and knew what they were doing. The installation went without a hitch and the system worked perfectly. Within the first week or so I noticed a small refrigerant leak on a connection to the furnace A-coil. The next morning the service person was here. It turned out to be a bad solder joint -- a pin hole leak. The technician evacuated the line, fixed the solder joint and then refilled and tested the unit. There was of course no charge for this service. There have be no problems since that time. I had RON AIR return this year (4/21/2011) for a Spring check of the heating and A/C units. Both units checked out fine. I also had a slight problem with my new touch screen thermostat in the first few weeks. The problem was that the room temperature displayed was several degrees off. RON AIR replaced the unit (no charge), and it has been working flawlessly since then. All of the RON AIR service people are very professional, and unlike some HVAC companies I have dealt with in the past, they know what they are doing. Their workmanship and customer service is outstanding. They were punctual for the initial installation and for all the follow-on service appointments. Their prices match or beat the competition, and they are extremely neat -- leave no messes behind. RON AIR is a small family-owned-and-operated business. I would highly recommend this company for all your TRANE heating and air conditioning needs.

My existing upstairs heat pump system was reaching the end of it's service life. So I decided to have the system replaced with a new one. Ron Air has been servicing my HVAC systems for over 10 years. They have always been punctual, efficient, professional and fair. Honestly, I did not shop their proposal for the new system. I didn't feel I needed to based on my previous experience and my own time constraints. The install went exactly as it was described to me prior to the installation. The two man crew was professional and efficient. My air handler is in the attic and they took great care in putting down drop cloths to protect my carpet and hard wood floors when removing the old air handler and bringing in the new. The care they took in their workmanship was quite evident. The paperwork given to me after the install was well organized and Ron Air handled the submittal of manufacturer rebates while immediately deducting the rebates from my bottom line. Complete paperwork for my eligible federal tax credit was given to me for tax time. The review of the system for operation and maintenance was equally good. All said, I would recommend Ron Air to anyone who would consider using them.

Outstanding attention to detail. Great work. Cleaned up after works really well. Ron Air serviced our HVAC units for five years prior. Would highly recommend them.

The people that come out to do the work are very good. They have been really personable and have explained things to me. They really responded in a timely fashion.
