First contacted them about repairs and the serviceman prompted returned my call on a Sunday and showed up the next day to do the work. After inspecting he gave an estimate but informed me that the entire roof was bad and that there had been a lot of problems with the type of shingle that I had on my roof. The roof was approximately 15 years old. I didn't commit to either the repairs or replacement since I wanted to do some checking. I checked on the Internet and found documentation verifying that he was correct about the type of shingles that I had not holding up as well as expected. I called back and scheduled to have the roof replaced. They started and finished the job as scheduled and did outstanding work. Many neighbors complimented me on how professional the workers were and how great the new roof looked.

I had an issue with the work and they were great about it. They are going to come out and fix the work. When they came out they were able to identify the problem and are going to take care of it. I like them a lot. I would use them again.

I called 3 company's and Marshall's were the first company to come out and give me an estimate and commit to repair. They said they would be able to do the work the following week and they did. They gave me a time a date. They were prompt and neat. I was very satisfied with the work and the job.

I thought they were really good. They were nice people. They need to work on being on time. I had one bad gutter and the guy who came went and checked the roof. I also have some skylights and he said that there were some nails popping out and he checked that as well. I felt that was very nice. He did all the for free. He was very honest.

Excellent, prompt work - NO leak, even in the heaviest of blowing rain storms. Final price was under the estimate. This is an honest, knowledgeable, family owned company. I have recommend and continue to recommend and use Marshalls Roofing and Guttering.

They took awhile to get back to me, I thought they dropped me as a customer. I misread the situation, they were in the process of updating their communication tools. The owner personally gave me a callback to ensure that I was not dropped. The person that gives the estimate is the one that does the work, which is rare.

They did a very good service in terms of how quickly they responded. They were very responsive. We got a quote from another company for the same work and we may end up using Marshall's Roofing and Guttering.

I have used them in the past and they are very good. They are absolutely great in what they do and I was very impressed. They do exactly what they say they are going to do and they are there when they are supposed to be there. They do everything ahead of time and if they find any problems they will tell you what to do. They are one of those top notch companies. I would recommend them highly.

We needed estimates to replace 4 inch gutters with 6 inch gutters; they never returned calls.

Never used their services for a roofing job because they never responded to either of my calls to come out and provide an estimate.

They did a great job. Our interaction with them was excellent. They put new windows in and they fixed a leak in our roof. We would definitely recommend them. They were professional and efficient. We can get in touch with them very easily. We would use them again in the future.

After three previous companies either did not respond or declined, I contacted Marshall's via their facebook page, Joe Marshall responded within hours that evening, I finalized the job the next day with Rob Hilleary, and less than 48 hours after my initial inquiry they completed the work. My interaction with them both via email and over the phone was exemplary. This can do attitude is to be commended.

Superb, they came within 2 days and did the work. They inspected the roof, nailed down flashing, and nailed or glued the roof back to the frame.

The company rep (Doug) came to look at the roof and windows, but never give us an estimate for the cost.

They were excellent. The job took a day and a half. They were very professional, showed up on time, and cleaned up after themselves before they left. When you get estimates, be ready to have all the work done beacuse if you have smaller jobs to do later, it is hard to get them back.

I think in business that they should call back to make the customer feel better.

I called late afternoon on the 16th, he said they would come that day if possible but if not first thing next morning. They came within 12 hours of my call and quickly went to work. It was brutal work removing the ice dams and clearing 3 feet up of the roof. They were polite and very informative.

I contacted these guys after seeing them on the list and because of their seemingly good reports. Initially, they called me back promptly and said they would be out for an estimate. 1 month later, I have not heard from them despite calling back several times.

When I first used Marshall's, I got their quote along with quotes from four other companies to re-do our roof. Bob Marshall came in significantly lower than the others, so I showed him the other quotes and asked why he was so much lower. He reacted by saying, "These other companies are ripping you off!" Bob and his sons do a fantastic job and they have a great old-fashioned American work ethic. In fact, I still see Bob now and again driving through the neighborhood, checking all the jobs (he's done most of the houses in our neighborhood), making sure everything is okay. You just can't go wrong with Marshall's. We won't have anyone else do exterior work to our home.

These guys did a great job. They are a small, family owned company and all members of their crew obviously care about the quality of their work. We highly recommend them. Note: There are two unrelated roofing companies with similar names. The company we used is Marshall's Roofing and Guttering of Brookeville (and Kensington), MD. This is a different company than Marshall Roofing of Lorton, VA.
